  • Queen's Tears is a tropical plant from the bromeliad family. This is one of those plants that can bloom inside in bright indirect sunlight. Once the mother plant finishes blooming, it produces new pups that can be separated as new plants.

Cut off the flower stalk and treat it like a regular house plant

Mine look so close to your but there is no yellow. Also, mine are sharp. Do you think I have another variety, not the Queen's tears? Also, if I don't wear gloves, I end up getting a rash wherever I have touched the plant.
I have been growing mine Outdoors but if they will Bloom inside, think I will give that a try. Your leaves are much greener than mine.

Yeah it must be a different variety

I've seen these at a local plant shop today. They where advertised as "outdoor bromeliads" but I'm not sure if that's true for german winters. How frost tolerant are they?

@@SecretNinjaUnicorn10 if your interested I would just need shipping $ and a little bit for the plant too. I have PayPal or if you want I could make a eBay listing or something like that. The cool thing is all you need is a small section and they grow really fast!
