Good Pro tip on the branding iron. It looked way more detailed than previous burns. Thanks for that.👍
Yeah it’s much cleaner! Thank you
This is exactly how I made my first cutting board for my wife. Great video.
Nice work Navarro! Glad you enjoyed the video
Thanks for the video. As a beginner woodworker that doesn’t have a planer/jointer/miter yet, this was exactly what I was looking for
Awesome! I love hearing that. Thanks Joe! That’s the reason I did a video like that. Glad I could help you out. Cheers
Great tips 👍🏽
The boards look really good. Nice job.
Thanks Derek I appreciate that!
Could I use a Glowforge Machine to laser on my logo or any customization?
I’m not familiar with that machine sorry. Is that a neon transformer? I’ve heard those work as well. This was a microwave transformer.
@@jordzthecarpenter8683 It's a Laser engraving machine.
Can you share what branding iron you use, thanks.
The iron is from gearheartindustry.com
Thanks for the video I am new at this and your video is a lot of help as a rookie I don't have but a table saw and a sander so this video is right up my alley. I noticed that the pieces you have on your right are laying flush with each other but I see a gap or am I mistaken also what blade did you use. P.S. where can i get a tamp yours is cool.
Does it matter how high your blade is when you cut the 45 chamfer edge?
Nope just far enough to cut all the way through
Where did you get your branding iron made?
Hey Nic, I got it from Gearheartindustry.com
@@jordzthecarpenter8683 awesome. Im a CNC woodworker from BC as well. I’m just getting into but I should be putting my name on my work. Lol. I’m also liking the videos. 👍
@@nicmosher17 so cool man! I really want to get into CNC work but I just don’t have the space in my small shop. Appreciate you checking out my videos glad you’re enjoying them! Cheers
Actually hey Nic I just remembered budgetbrandings.com is out of Canada and I would have gone with them had I realized before I purchased my iron. Both really good companies from what I’ve seen. Worth checking out anyway
@@jordzthecarpenter8683 ok thank you. I check them out too.
Did you use food safe glue?
Yes the glue I used is compliant with the FDA
I heard very good opinions about the Woodglut plans.
That’s great! 👍🏼
purple heart is the worse wood to use for a cutting board
