Mourinho hired this guy while at Real Madrid and transformed the club. Genius!
This just shows that Mourinho had the best interest of United at heart. People hated on him but he really wanted to make this club great again.
Fans who properly follow united don't blame Mourinho. The ones who blame him for our struggles when he was in charge were a vocal minority. The players are poor, the coaching is clearly inadequate and the hierarchy have no clue or strategy to move forward.
Glad he is gone now. Man Utd don't deserve him. But after Ole at the wheel, it looks like we gonna ruin Poch career next.

3 mistakes:
Sacking Mourinho, not getting this guy and giving the job to Ole. Woodward is a complete tool.
Man Utd finished 6th last season but still earn record revenue. They don't need to play good football to earn tonnes of $$. Why would they change? The problem is not Woodward. The problem is fans expecting something different than the new standards we getting now.

Many huge businesses have fallen from grace, because they fail to adapt. Utd still working without an expert(s) in the field, they are gonna sink, and their future profits with it. You can't have an accountant, that doesn't understand football and expect you can compete with clubs that has a well oiled machine with experts in the field.

I thought Uniteds plan of action in the summer was to appoint a director of Football? Plus they needed a massive overhaul but they got rid of twice as many players than they signed? If this was any other organization in the world there would be sackings right across the board because of people doing their job poorly. He's a club legend, also he has been way more likeable than Mourinho in terms of attitude. I dont think Dead Woodward should have sacked Mourinho and I dont think he should have signed Ole after just a couple of months. But one thing I do understand is why Ole is getting leeway.
He's also taking advantage of the fans good will Ole should recognise he's out of his depth and resign but he'll cling on until he's given the boot.

Difference between the head of the scouts and sporting director is head scout finds out gems and Ed Woodward rejects them due to lack of marketability and sporting director would scout him and sign him without giving a damn to Ed the Dead.

A sporting director also creates stability, a link between the business side and the football side as well as being the focus of discipline if players step out of line.
They're there to keep the ship heading in the right direction, even in the event a manager is fired as their focus is on the long term project instead of just buying for the hell of it.

The trouble is the board is controlled by the Glazers who don`t have a clue how to run a football club , especially one as big as United, also they will not want to get rid of Ed ,as he has made them a fortune the only way the club will survive is to get new owners, but it would take an offer around 4 billion for them to even think of selling, meanwhile the club is dying a slow death under these parasites.

Sporting director sometimes doesn't work for club's. Look at my own club Liverpool they had sporting director Damien Comolli who brought in garbage under Kenny Dalglish second term as manager.

Hey did you guys hear about the team that posted a HELP WANTED AD in the newspaper? They are looking for a striker. "FOOTBALL DAILEY"/"WE NEED TO TALK" hosted by Joe (Tomlinson?) read and held up an article about a team in the Premier League advertising for a striker. I don't remember the name of the team, you'd have to go back to last weeks show.
I think maybe Manchester United should try the same thing. They might get a really good striker. Even if he's a walk-on and most likely they will take any kind of contract offer made by a team like Manchester United.
