I agree! @Karen, you inspire me so much!! My mother is a severe hoarder and I have always avoided reselling because I was terrified that the amount of inventory in my home would just make me feel awful but seeing how you manage and organize yours has really given me a new perspective on reselling. Thank you. Your positive attitude and enthusiasm is contagious and so much appreciated! ❤
I always enjoy seeing your pull & ship videos. You run your business like a well oiled machine! You are blessed to have such amazing basement space to run your business out of. 😊 You are already so busy, I cannot imagine how much busier you're going to be once Lisa starts listing for you, but I am definitely along for the ride! xo
You gave me a chuckle today Karen. You said "I hear cart being rolled out". I bet your ears perked right up, just like my puppy LilyBean when she hears the treat bag rattle. lol
HI Karen! I just love love love your videos. I think you are very classy and very organized. I have just started selling to supplement my income at 72yrs old. Thank God I am learning a lot from you
I received my blouse, and Wow at the Blouse, brand new condition packed to perfection I felt like I shopped at Neumann Marcus! Love love it and your videos, I would say anyone buying from you will be happy with your purchase. Karen you are Top Notch.
Enjoyed the video. After watching you for a while now, I am finding myself talking through items before I purchase (it's Karen in my head going, "Am I going to want to ship that" )😃😃 Good to see Roger getting more comfortable being on camera.
You are an amazing and kind woman. I am starting an Ebay business thanks to you and your daughter! Love and blessings to you and your family (and Roger!). Thank you.
I love your videos, been following for years. I wish you had a secret for the energy it takes to accomplish so much. Your basement is so clean and organized and obviously a great deal of work. I enjoy most following you as you (and Roger) shop at thrift stores. Thank you.
The treatment at the top of your hobnail lamp shade is referred to as crimped. If it's more loose, it's ruffled. Glass can be both ruffled and crimped. Depending on the size and maker, that could sell for anywhere from $25 to $75.
I’ve been watching for about a year. My favorites are GoodWill and when you are pulling & prepping to ship from the basement. I’m not in resale… but I enjoy you and your process. Wishing you continued success. Shelby
It was nice to see Roger. He is so handsome! Your basement is a great place for your inventory. I’m so jealous. We don’t have many basements in my part of the world.
The rainbow mug at 19:00 is from FTD from the 80s and fetches a pretty penny! I always looked for it when thrifting but finally had to pony up $45 for it on Etsy 😂
Twizzlers Cup: Looks like it's not so much to drink out of, but to be a "holder" to have Twizzlers on your desk or counter, so they are easy to grab or share. Handle makes it easy to hold the container out to co-workers, as they approach your desk.
You are truly a joy to watch. It’s become my most favorite thing…and you have inspired me!!! I walk through the thrift stores now with the “WWKLCD” mentality (What would Karen Lavender Chlothesline Do) when I am picking items. I need to get a bit more confident in my pricing…i keep under pricing items just to move them….may need to start being comfortable with holding some items. :)
Based on your hardware tip, I’ve been finding some at habitat for humanity. The only challenge is their all dumped in one large bin, so it can be time consuming-
Adding another Lister and the challenge of finding items without SKUs. It will be interesting because rarely do 2 people call/name the same item the same way, so I suspect the difficulty will increase, finding items if you are both naming and filling bins. My wife and I do it together, so we had to have a bin numbering system, or items would be lost. Men and women don't even see colors and prints the same way. LOL
It's lovely that you have a GINORMOUS basement in your home LOL Unfortunately, we don't have basements here in Texas. BAH HUM BUG. My closets are full!
I would take the Novation Launchpad Mini (Mk1). That is a Midi controller used mainly by DJs and electronic musicians. You could actually flip it for a profit pretty quick..maybe not a lot but quick.
It would be helpful to see your process between sourcing and shipping...how you process inventory, photograph, list and store. Do you do it all on your own or have help? Thank you.
Dickel Bottle: I've sold a couple of them. Lots of variants available, but they still seem to be in demand. So I grab them when the buy in price makes sense.
the gold owl plates are commonly milk glass.ive seen owls & cats like that.typically go for 20$ i feel like it was more when i had one a few years back
Poodles are from late 50s Should bring good money. The set of Crochet HOOKS (Not Needles) were Fabulous.. Enjoyed the shopping trip. You really need to number & make your boxes easier to find your merch..
Hi Karen Beautiful inventory area ! I too store like items together and it works great ! I so wish that my husband would Thrift With me I really enjoy watching partners Thrift together ❤️ Thank you for sharing
So funny you "heard" a new cart. Love it. And just thinking you said you don't always list your cost. You do a lot of work to prepare items for shipping besides the expense of acquiring. Does that effect how you submit your cost of goods expense on your taxes?
Red Line Hot Wheels: Be careful with the Red Line cars. At different times they've turned out modern Re-pops and Replicas of the original Red Line car models. Definitely look at any cars with Red Lines you see, but do NOT assume a Red Line makes it an original (production, 1968 to 1977) car. There are places now that even sell just loose Red Line tires, so you can re-skin your originals or make any modern Hot Wheel look like a Red Line era car.
I started taking my donations to other places rather than Goodwill. About 10 years ago, the manager of a St. Vincent ran the store outta business by over pricing & stealing. Finally customers stopped donating there or shopping there & the upper management shut the doors on that store!!! That happened in Wilmington, ILL in case anyone what's to check. We had a free store that was amazing before COVID but they closed & haven't re-opened so far. We weren't getting enough donations to pay the bills.😢🙏😇
You mentioned your oil burner coming on... have you turned your heat on already? If so, I think I need to move where you are! Mid September here in Virginia and tomorrow it's supposed to be 90°! I'm SO tired of being hot and sweaty...🤒😵
@@lavenderclothesline Okay! Gotcha. We have an electric water heater but radiators throughout the home. Noticed that it looks like you have radiators, as well... I absolutely LOVE mine! The way they keep us toasty is just the best. (No forced hot air for me!) We've been flirting with the idea of converting over to natural gas... the price of fuel oil is breaking our backs!
New Listing Template: Have they changed you over to the new Listing Template yet? Curious to hear what you think. I list on my Mac Book Laptop, so I think they spent a lot of time and effort to make a product that is harder to use and slower to list on. Waiting for all the data entry pop-ups to load really slows it down.
You are by far the most organized reseller I have been allowed to see the inventory of.
Thanks so much Peggy!

Thanks Karen! I would love to see how you fold clothes, pack them, and ship them... :) Thank you for the GREAT content! I have learned a lot!
I think the pull & ship are my favorite videos. So organized! How can it be this neat!
HI Karen! I just love love love your videos. I think you are very classy and very organized. I have just started selling to supplement my income at 72yrs old. Thank God I am learning a lot from you

I’m so happy!!! Thanks so much 💜
Enjoyed the video. After watching you for a while now, I am finding myself talking through items before I purchase (it's Karen in my head going, "Am I going to want to ship that" )😃😃 Good to see Roger getting more comfortable being on camera.

It amazes me that you are able to track all that inventory without numbers; but so wonderful for you since you have a system that is working for you!
Just found your channel. You have a lovely voice and demeanor. I love how beautiful everything was organized. I would love to see a home tour.
I love your videos, been following for years. I wish you had a secret for the energy it takes to accomplish so much. Your basement is so clean and organized and obviously a great deal of work. I enjoy most following you as you (and Roger) shop at thrift stores. Thank you.
I love you alone, but Roger kicks it with that wonderful smile! You make a great couple!
Thank you Karen and Roger….lots of fun❤
I love how much fun you and Roger have together even while you’re working. ❤
Love the pull n ship, and thanks for sharing the rolling tape in your hand to get out the fuzzies from shoes😊
The treatment at the top of your hobnail lamp shade is referred to as crimped. If it's more loose, it's ruffled. Glass can be both ruffled and crimped. Depending on the size and maker, that could sell for anywhere from $25 to $75.
I’d like to know and see you cleaning and getting things ready to sell.
Yesss!
Me too, she washes so much of her listings!
Such beautiful items you sell. And you've got to be the most organized reseller in the world. I enjoyed this video very much.
My absolute favorite, pulling, shipping, and seeing what sold
Thank God you have a giant lovely basement
Great video Karen:) Enjoy seeing all the things you find always. And the little fall insert for scene change 25:02 so cute!
I’ve been watching for about a year. My favorites are GoodWill and when you are pulling & prepping to ship from the basement. I’m not in resale… but I enjoy you and your process. Wishing you continued success. Shelby
Your organization and discipline are such an inspiration. You have a gift…thank you for helping by sharing!
Roger is ADORABLE!!!
It was nice to see Roger. He is so handsome! Your basement is a great place for your inventory. I’m so jealous. We don’t have many basements in my part of the world.
That Pillsbury dough boy would be really cute as a planter especially with one of those spiral curly plants.
Love how you gave everything organized.
Beautiful lady who picks beautiful items! Good luck
The rainbow mug at 19:00 is from FTD from the 80s and fetches a pretty penny! I always looked for it when thrifting but finally had to pony up $45 for it on Etsy 😂
Lands End Cashmere is good quality and if taken care of properly, it will last a long time. I own several sweaters and I say always purchase!!
I love when you incorporate your man into the videos-GO TEAM!
You are so inspiring with your organization and knowledge.
Haven’t been able to watch for awhile, so glad to see you and Roger. Happy for you. 🥰
As usual great choices and I think you'll do fantastic with these. Anxious to see what else you have
ANOTHER GREAT EPISODE!! THANK YOU!! AND GOD JEHOVAH AND JESUS CHRIST BLESS YOU!!
You added “I am” in your intro. I like the change.❤

I loved the bag of dogs and cats.
My Goodwill won’t sell it if bag is torn open
@@debbieseibert2332 Couldn't believe she did that,.
Sitting here with my elbow wired from last last Friday’s surgery. Weaning off meds. Dr. Follow up tomorrow. Thankful for you, Karen. 😍
Feel better soon!! 🥰
Your very neat in placing everything in order.. better and easier to find..
Thank you so much Karen 😊❤️

Another great video. So much energy. It keeps you young. I very much enjoy watching you thrift. Thanks
Wow you have a massive inventory!! I’m the same I have no sku just category! 👍 love your basement!
That owl plate looks just like the milk glass plates with gold owls. Almost like they used the same mold but made it clear glass? Really interesting!
So Happy you decided to take that amazing Cat paper towel holder❤️🐈⬛🐈😻
I agree, goodwill needs to go back to selling their dish sets as a lot and not by each piece.
Really enjoy your videos very informative you have such a sweet voice
Based on your hardware tip, I’ve been finding some at habitat for humanity. The only challenge is their all dumped in one large bin, so it can be time consuming-
My 1st time seeing your basement... Wow, Amazing!!! I have an Etsy store with just about 300 things. I need more space. Lol
Definitely love the pull and ship videos, it motivates me to get more organized;)
I think that "Brown Sugar" glass hurricane lamp is just beautiful! I would be curious to see what you actually were able to sell it for.
I'm going to your ebay to find the first wood box you pulled out! Love it!
Good finds! I really enjoy your videos! 😊
I love Lisa! She’s sunshine!
She IS sunshine! 😁😘👍
..her new nickname 🙃.
I don’t know what day I thought it was, but I forgot it was Wednesday until I saw your video 😂
Ruffled edge would do it. I think that’s the word you were trying to get out.
That's amazing
Love your videos and work ethics! You’re inspiring me to continue cleaning out my closets🤣

Lisa has shipped for me quite a bit when I travel, works great! She has found every item!
Me again I can’t get enough of your channel. Do you ever have a live stream? I have so many questions?
No, I don’t have the time at this point in the game 😊
The logo on the vest jacket is Millipore 😁. Love your videos!

Yes, I would like to see the process also.
Lisa works 5 hrs a week, everything else is all me 😁
You usually can identify the tag less clothing by the RN Number sometimes found on the side seam tag, if there’s one !
Hey Karen, Grabbing some iced tea
Dickel Bottle: I've sold a couple of them. Lots of variants available, but they still seem to be in demand. So I grab them when the buy in price makes sense.
Be sure to check the leather strap lacing and that you have the cork, which should have a leather thong lanyard.
I definitely would have bought the three wiseman! They would've looked great in front of my fireplace 😢
I’m heading to the Shillington location this weekend! My local GW stores look like tore-up dumps. 😮
Use your things rent them for staging real estate or photographers colleges for sketches plays photography etc.

Did you keep the little puppies and kittens? The few that you pulled out had such cute expressions on their faces.
No, I left them for someone else 😊
5000? I have trouble keeping up with 265! 👍🏼👍🏼
Great organization!!
Great video! Thanks!

If I go to a PA goodwill will I find a Roger for a good price? Don't care if goodwill overpriced him either...
He’s definitely one in a million 🥰
You and Roger are such a cute couple🤗💕.. are there wedding bells in the future?🤗💕🙏🏼
The shade sure looks like Fenton. Is there a Fenton collector’s club for advice?
We don’t have color tag sale days in Northwest Indiana 😢
You are extremely organized! I like Jocelyns videos but she could probably be more organized in the shop.
