I ran an entire business using Facebook Marketplace. I sold vintage wooden crates that were used for building furniture, vendor booth setups, events & so on. It was a booming business for over 5 years, but sadly, Covid pretty much shut it down. Although I still sell them on occasion, I’ve basically moved on to other things in my life. I really appreciated FBM for it’s selling platform. It allowed me to support myself for over 5 years. I would also set appointments & meet my clients at a local destination. It has changed a lot since I was on it full time, but it’s still a great platform. 😊

I knew you were from a common wealth or former cw country when I saw how you spell learnt. I learnt ( pun intended) English from British descendants in Argentina and i used different spellings, I live in the USA and I had to adjust my grammar! I just started reselling, I am doing it to fund my health bills.

I found your channel about a month ago and love all your videos. I was a reseller for many years on Ebay selling mostly vintage Christmas.until I stopped 6 years ago. You have given me encouragement to start selling a little bit again, and I have recently gone into a Goodwill for the first time in my life. Found some nice things for myself. What does not fit I would like to sell. Would you consider doing a video on how you prepare clothing for resale? Do you wash everything? Also was extremely impressed with your presentation of shipping them in a bag folded so nicely like the items are new. How do you do that? Also I think you said you use tissue paper? TYIA ❤

If you find a painting or photography in good condition and a keeper ..you may want to take it to a Michael's or a good framer and get "museum glass" put over your piece , because 1. The glare will be gone. And 2. It protects the piece from the sun... You never want to put it on a wall directly opposite a sunny window....and you never put any glass over a true oil painting. (some artists ) still do. To clean an oil painting that is only nominally dusty, you make a very , very mild solution if dish detergent ie. Palmolive and wrung it out and gently wipe it over the oil painting

If you have the spare time could you do a video showing how you pack coats and jackets? I'm always afraid to pick them up because of the size. It seems that the box would have to be so large that shipping would be very expensive, or you would need to fold them up so much that they would get too wrinkled. Thanks! I love watching your videos.
