The fact that she doesn’t have enough time to do anything besides her after school activities and school is the most realistic part of the pack
i like the fact taht ea making us pay for a game then we have to pay content in aa paid game and you cant really choose because you wont enjoy the game after a month without new content and literly a highschool pack for the same amount of money you paid for the game is just stupid we should be alowed to do all these things for free

Kind of a nice change, to be honest. I’m excited by the possibility of my teens going from not having enough to do so they just help around the house, to being their own people with so much to do in a day that there isn’t enough time.

@Paige Loren I still think that’s something that needs fine tuning. While I relate to the occasional difficulties in talking to family members, I ALWAYS found it easier to talk to my family than a stranger or acquaintance.
I feel like maybe family members shouldn’t need the charisma skill for this to work.
Please do a shell challenge with curved walls when they’re released. I think they would make things that much harder and interesting! I’m so excited for this, I know you’ll do one whether u see this or not!

I feel like the Sims has really upped their game lately as Paralives develops. Having a competitor is the best thing that could've happened to the Sims.
It's not because of paralives, that game isn't even out. EA only cares about money so untill paralives exists and starts splitting the money doubt they care at all. They recently lost the sports games they have I think most likely just trying to make more money off this franchise instead.

Veronica reminded me of one of my lowest points in high school when I was doing homework before class in the bathroom and the stall locked up and I was late to class bc I spent 30 minutes waiting for someone to show up and call the custodian to set me free 💀

Super excited for this pack to come out!! And giving the teens in my game play more personality. I actually have a child sim right now that I love and wanna see ho through high school as a teen.
Waiting until this inevitably gets bundled with University in the future to buy it I'm so excited for how fun it will make legacy challenges to follow a sim from birth all the way through to being an elder hopefully more content gets added for younger kids and elders in the future but I'm glad teens are more like actual teenagers socially now
You should totally couple it with Nifty Knitting or the toddler/children's related packs!

No one's going to talk about the Rewards Store of the Aspiration points being moved from where it used to be? I actually like this small change.
I kept forgetting it existed and thought it was in a weird spot, hopefully this should let me use this more
I really hope the sims add a “invite for sleepover” interaction on fridays and saturdays ir even throughout the week i think that would be a really fun idea

When he started juggling bottles while his sister was in distress, I choose to think he was threating the principal's daughter, as in.... He was about to hit her with a bottle to protect his sister.
I just imagined it as him trying to lighten the mood but had no idea what to say so just hoped his juggling would do the trick lol. I really love ur idea too tho cuz I feel like that’s definitely something he’d do.

I got the hs pack and werewolves at the same time, spent like a day customizing the school and then the rest playing werewolves… LOVE the werewolves expansion! Wayy more fun than vampires. I am happy with the hs pack because of the future potential it brings. Still experiencing bugs though.

A lot from this pack is very realistic, but I need to know if there's a "write a bunch of weird messages, bad words, and random phone numbers all over the bathroom" feature. Happened a lot in the schools I went to.

@4:13 I noticed that there still hasn't been a fully functional system for studying with other sims which always made me miss that about the Sims 3! You can make groups or clubs and set an activity to study/do homework, or ask other kids to help with projects, but it's never really worked for me. I wish we could just click on the Homework (child thru college sims) and pick "Study with" so they would actually sit down together and talk! This would've been the perfect opportunity to make it a base game update as well
Funnily enough, my Sims won't STOP talking during homework and projects! They take forever cause they all work at the dining table and chat. Plus side, all siblings in my game ever are fully maxed friends because of their homework chats.
@@haruananase3706 Honestly the only reason my parent sims are super close with the kids is from helping them w homework 😂 and the project system works really well for me! I just wish teens an adults had it as fleshed out. I mean they added pillow fights! It would be cool to have homework club as like "free period" activity or things like book club too
@@felicitycoffin2915 tbh I think one of the main revamps still really missing from the game is just...more customizable group options, or just more groups. The club system can fill in the gaps but it's not perfect - and requires an entire expac to even use. Like...where's library assistants? Teaching assistants? School art and photography clubs? Even if they're just rabbit holes. Actually, really, I think what I'm looking for is a daily scheduling system - like the calendar, but for days, where you can assign your Sim certain activities during certain hours for their autonomy to do. Like, you can block out 3-6pm as being for homework and projects for your children, and they will have high priority for those autonomous tasks during those hours, then you can have them play for three hours, and they'll prioritize play, etc. Set bed times and meal times and all that jazz. I'm one of the few who isn't, apparently, super-disappointed in the Sims 4 gameplay, but one of the improvements I do think could be made was this 'control' over free will, where you don't have to direct their every movement, but they will also generally do what you want instead of go obsessively dance and drink water for five hours. The bloody drinking water!!

Idk gameplay seems very mediocre especially the high-school itself. It’s definitely a good sims 4 pack but I’d rather get it on sale. Obviously this is my opinion and not a fact. But, I have hopes for wants and fears I hope they don’t abandon it like whims

This has me so excited... I've been playing an evil sim who's story just goes with the flow of new packs, and having an excuse to adopt a kid for this pack has so many story ideas flowing.
Or I could move in with vlad because he adopted one of the Beam children. I'm just brainstorming in my own reply though oops

Oh this was fun, of all the High School videos I've watched so far, I think I like this one the best! Plus it was funny when Kayla starting blushing when her two Sims were flirting with other Sims, that was cute and funny!
I do hope they adjust the Socially Awkward trait a bit, because every video I have seen where they gave their Sims that trait, their Sims couldn't make friends at all, no matter what they did, and worse here, Veronica couldn't' even talk to her brother, who she already had a good relationship with! They aren't supposed to have problems keeping friendships, because they are supposed to do better when talking with friends and family or Sims they are already close with!
But that clearly isn't the case right now, they need to fix that before they release the game, and since those who have played it said they were letting Maxis know if they see a glitch/bug, so they should know about how extremely difficult this traits is, I actually wanted to use it myself, but if it remains this bad when I get the pack, I won't be using it with a Sim that I really like, that's for sure!
I liked you first episode of this let's play. It's nice to know that someone actually likes this pack. I've seen a number of videos where simmers seem disappointed by many of or lack thereof of features in this High School. I can't wait for the next episode.

I’m relatively new to your channel but I’m loving when sims lets plays end up in a disaster. 10 out of 10 for great content on sims 😆
This looks so much fun! Staying up late for homework...oh boy, in middle school I had so many homeworks and projects I usually staid up till 1 am many days a week and my parents had to help my finish stuff because it was way too much even for a straight A student (i love to study). Many parents complained to the school but nothing change: it was exhausting but I also learnt a lot. High school wasn't much different but the teachers were very disorganized so we had like one month without any test or anything and then 20 days before the trimester ended it was hell on wheels...I also swam and played piano and flute even if not through school but the activities were relaxing in comparison to school! Now in university I'm also packed with lots of stuff to do and sleep very litte XD.
So yeah, it's realistic and the only cheat I use for my sims is the one that sets all needs up for days, if you want to develope skills and do good in school or rise kids, there's no other way....which is also quite realistic, my mum told me and my sisters that she had run on 3-4 hours of sleep every day for years both when she worked and when she managed to retire (luckily for her, she's one that has never slept much). Cannot wait to buy this pack in a bundle, I only need a stuff pack :D

Honestly, I was thinking of making a socially-awkward sim but after seeing just how annoying it is I’m thinking of just… avoiding it like the plague.
Yeaa, the idea is really fun but I feel like she succeeds so little at social interactions it seems more like a burden over anything else😭 which I guess is realistic in a way but still, I’d rather have them ease up on it a bit
As someone who graduated with almost a 3.8 gpa in college, college is no joke. University pack gives me nightmares and I never play it because of that so at least they made it as horrible as it is in real life with studying 😂
