Big ups to you for this. I searched around, as I recently procured a RGH 360, and looking for tutorials, most of them were about how to rip your disk directly to the internal HDD, not how to play from a external one. Good that you made this as clear as you did. My scratched up copy of Halo 3 don't like me no more, so this will let me keep blasting a little while longer!
Great tutorial. I've had my Jtag for around 6 years now but I never even turned it on... just got busy. But just whipped it out and this helped alot! Is this the only way though? One at a time? Thats gonna take a good minute to download a bunch of games. Whatever tho I guess. Thanks again!

My xbox 360 internal storage is only 4gb and the install disc has more or less 8gb, so where should I put the install disc? I don't have other storage devices. Also, when I bought my xbox, it came with a external hard drive with a bunch of games including GTA V and it's completely playable. One day I was copying new games to the ext hard drive from my laptop and something went wrong so I had to format the hard drive and I have to download GTA V all over again. I just learned that the install disc need to be in the different storage with the play disc. How come it was playable in my initial case? Please help me. Thank you in advance.
I formatted an external 2 TB WD Elements hard drive on the PC in Fat32 and MBR and copied games in .xex format. The hard drive is almost full. That took a lot of time and work. Then I connected the drive to my Xbox 360 RGH3 via USB. But the hard drive doesn't show up in Aurora's file manager. The hard drive is only recognized as "unformatted" in the control panel in the original dashboard. What do I have to do to get the hard drive recognized in Aurora's file manager so I can play the games? I had previously tested the whole thing with a USB stick. It was recognized without any problems in the Aurora file manager.

You said the flash drive should be formatted to fat32. This is ok if the game size is less than 4GB. But what if the game size is more than 4GB? We cannot copy it to the flash drive.. right?

Only recently my console started to boot up very slow and often freeze at the xbox logo screen. It may take 10-25 mins while frozen at the xbox logo screen then only boots up to freestyle. Then I noticed my internal hard drive was suddenly in "unformatted" status. Which i have tried many ways to access the internal hard drive but none was working. So I am forced to format the internal hard drive and copy games afresh to it. When I do a manual scan (path) of the drive it didn't detect the games in the internal hard drive and the game will show up in the game menu. But when I try to click the game from game menu to play a game, the game starts and only display a black screen.

Hey bro, I've seen that there is a difference between internal and external hdd for some games and dlcs for the Xbox 360 and for internals you need a specific type of drive. Is this necessary now or can I use any hdd to make it internal?

If you want them downloaded fast Subscribe for a month of 1filchier download service(or you will be capped at 1 download every 3 hours) Choose the game you want to download and just follow the links dont fall for the re-direct ad pages dodgy looking ads just close them (or just use ad blocker)

Im getting an error on iso2god ive also tried 360mp gui ive reformatted the drive to fat32 several times because the barely extracted files wont let me delete due to copyright. These tutorials make it seem so simple but im doing this now in 2024. My last resort is to use the software he used to format 128gb flash drive. Imma keep messing with it and throwing persistance at it but its pretty frustrating i dont see anyone going over the errors like if this happens just do this or if this error code pops up do this. In my case im getting error message in iso2god. And iso files cannot be written to directory due to copyright issues with 360mpGui.
I can thank you enough, i updated my Jtag recently and now i am catching up, its perfect timing from your side. Grabbing the Xbox Image Browser now, i not trusting downloading from sketchy websites, getting it this way gives me comfort. Looking forward to the next video, how many epsiodes left??

Bought the console from my brother but never bother to make a new account so i am stuck (achievements) with his name now. Did a lot of google on the subject, but never found a simple clear solution on how to rename/ediy a gamertag on a JTAG system. u have to create ISO from an extracted RAR file and after u have to extract that ISO file into a Folder file where u will get extracted default.exe what is the game u have to move to Xbox 360 Jtag/rgh only

Yes, you can use external hard drives that are 2TB or less. Anything higher causes issues

Wx 360 was previously working for me but on some isos like AC2 there's an error after it crossed the default file and reaches the media file
