In essence, one is a very strongly worded suggestion while the other is a command. It’s not a partnership of equals, but a hierarchy. I hate how disingenuous she was about that. It’s one thing if both parties are in agreement about if that’s how they want to operate, but she purposefully leaving out the fact that the relationship at its core doesn’t operate on people of equal standing.
@BonazaiGirl exactly..like girl if that's how you wanna live go for it. But stop being dishonest. You can give your counsel yes. But that's what the feminists are cautioning. If suppose her ideology was law he could in theory just be like sure. He could indirectly punish her for speaking up
I hate the phrase "men are stronger." There are all sorts of ways of defining the word "strength." Men are BRAWNIER. I find this word brawn really encapsulates the type of strength that men have "over" women. Women are not mentally weaker in any way, weaker in defending from disease - in fact, we can go longer without food and water, which is a strength. Etc., etc. It's complicated, not simple.
@ Nah, not specific enough. Lots of things are physical. Women can bear as much pain as men, for as long. I don't think we can run fast for as long as men can, but we can run long-distance as long as men. Women can bear physical burdens as long as men, walk as long as men...lots of similar things. What do you have against "brawn"?
The brand of feminism that says women should all be working for a giant corporation, away from their kids, because all men will leave you, cheat on you etc is not truly in favour of women. I hope we all realize that. The brand of feminism in favour of choice and individual human rights is what I support. I don’t understand why people seem to be so confused about this.
That would be interesting. In general you will likely find two common trends, by my understanding and experience: Some will be copying their family of origin and others will be engaging in utter defiance and opposition to the way they grew up.
feminists would agree that if you want to be a trad wife and you're happy then go for it, but trad wives just want women to solely submit to men is what I'm getting from this video.
For years, new wave feminism made me feel bad for dropping out of college, getting married young, and having children before 21. I was constantly bombarded with questions like "when do you plan on going back to school?" "When are you going to continue your career?" It led to me taking birth control for years which severely impacted me physically and mentally; and I eventually had a successful career but when I reached success, I realized a career and school will never give me the joy I get from being a wife and mother. I have been SO much happier since I have chosen to become a stay at home. I'm not saying women shouldn't further their education or pursue careers, but since having daughters I have made it abundantly clear that if they choose to pursue a path as a homemaker, it is an incredibly important job and it's so fulfilling.

She is blaming all women for her own shorcomings

Internalized misogyny at its core unfortunately. It’s like, she absolutely ignored the fact that people like Marie Curie, Ada Lovelace, Grace Hopper are major pioneers in the math and science sphere. Hopper being an admiral in the military.
Heck, _Deborah_ in the Bible was a Judge and military general. So it’s not like women weren’t capable of filling major positions. Just that patriarchal societies barred them from it and gave them less access to education.

I feel you. When I was younger my periods were awful. Birth control helped me later in life but didn't take it before because family thought it would make me promiscuous. So silly looking back at it now. They'd rather me be in pain than take medication.
Well how long have you been on it? When you’re on it a long time it starts to feel normal but if you stopped taking it for even a month you feel very different. Your endocrine system is very sensitive and putting hormones in your body is going to change you in some way or another. But yes obviously that’s your choice, you can decide what’s more beneficial to you.

@Daisy99999 Not that any of my symptoms are your business but I've been on it for about three years. I do not feel different when I'm off it besides the fact the bedridden cramps come back. Like I said before my body is fine, I trust a medical professional over a stranger any day.
Have you looked into seeing an endometriosis specialist? I used birth control to help with my debilitating symptoms for years. But after I got to have an excision surgery it was life changing. No, what’s “WILD” is to believe an abortion is necessary at 9 months gestation vs a caesarean. "I do get to say..." but at the end of the day, the decision is HIS. I'm not saying oh don't live that way, I'm saying she's being dishonest. In the end, if husband doesn't take her voice into account, per her logic, it doesn't matter. Because HE gets the final say. It's a yes or no. If he decides something, can she 'revoke' his choice?

The brand of feminism that says women should all be working for a giant corporation, away from their kids, because all men will leave you, cheat on you etc is not truly in favour of women. For years, new wave feminism made me feel bad for dropping out of college, getting married young, and having children before 21. I was constantly bombarded with questions like "when do you plan on going back to school?" "When are you going to continue your career?"

Exactly! None of these women are trad wives. They can never be with how advance our society is 🤦🏻♀️ you arnt a trad wife if you have a social media platform. You arnt a trad wife if you went to school and got your bachelors.
We really need new topics! I’d love to see autistic people vs ABA therapists
Why do people care so much about what others do with their body, or what people do with their personal life
It's no body business what you do with your body, who you date or sleep with
Because some of us belive in objective moral values independent of our opinions.
@@alienus9092
I don't care what people do with their body that included
Drugs, abortion, tattoos, vaccines, having sex with a lot of people or none, and so on
It doesn't affect me what they do with their body
@@alienus9092 That's cool and all, but your objective morals should be for you. Different people have different ideas of objectives morals.
Because CONTROL
you can't force your beliefs onto others lol @@alienus9092
As much as I am a Christian, I would’ve been interested to have seen at least 2 tradwives from a non Christian standpoint and from different backgrounds just to see a different pov.
“The” Ism yall are complaining about is capitalism, what else forced you from your homes to work
Kelsey is so insufferable...
"statistics show the more stressed a woman is the more likely she is to be anxious or depressed" YEA THAT'S KINDA HOW THAT WORKS???
I don’t think jubilee is capable of producing a full debate where race isn’t brought up in the conversation at least once.
Its a massive thing in America basically
@ yes I never thought my generation would become so obsessed with race.
@@swagdonor2357 Race plays a massive factor in people’s lives. A black person will experience life differently from a white person. A person who was raised in an Asian household will have a different perspective of someone raised in a Hispanic one.
And if we’re talking about politics and social issues? You better believe race and ethnicity will play a huge part in it. After all, it takes a willingness to choose to blind yourself to how race plays into the lives of those who are different from you.
@@BonazaiGirl we all know there are cultural differences in people. But does it need to be brought up in every single conversation? Is that really necessary? Does your skin color have to be your entire identity?
@@swagdonor2357 I’m going to assume you’re white, because as a black person, it plays a lot in how I’m treated, how I go about things, how I’m viewed, and my perspective on how the world operates.
In a discussion about feminism and tradwives, when intersectionality exists, it definitely plays a part.
“It’s not about dismantling the family “ ironically it did though
