@Jubilee Here is a recommended video suggestion-Testosterone levels in straight men vs gay men, assumptions vs blood tests
Why was everyone baffled by wine Wednesdays?!?

Alex has the anime look that helps him 😅
why did you put ‘mei’ (incorrect spelling) when it’s actually ‘rei’? im deeply offended

The editing on this is peak fiction 😭😅
Them voting out Mei rlly made me mad cuz she was the only one who I feel knew the most about anime😭
Yeah also me. The dude next we’re bothered me.😊
It's because she hate SAO 😂😂
real and she was also talking a lot abt it..even bringing up misogyny in the anime community like it should be obvious shes an og fan 😭
So real like I just thought she clearly knew the most 😭
Knows most about anime but says sao is bad?
its just funny to me how Mei got voted out by those two guys the moment she started talking about how men are misogynistic towards women who watch anime lol
acting like they don’t see the misogyny in the anime community… and then voting out the woman who knew the most ab anime.. then when it was between Mi and Alex(who clearly barely knew anything) they couldn’t decide bc “maybe her brother watches anime…” Yeah..
12:14 and the other girl acting confused too is crazy
They literally proved her point 🤦🏾♂️
@@user-lilana yea like she may just not be aware bc maybe she’s not in an anime community and her friends are women who watch.. but idk I don’t watch anime at all but I’m aware of the treatment.
I wanted the light to be red so bad after that
The guy was hella confused about misogyny in anime community and then doubted the knowledge of the girl when she showed her uchiha nails as if obito is not an uchiha.
Anyone would be when you don’t see it. When you see ton of videos online of guys and girls talking about games or animes, go to Cons where you never seen girls treated badly, and have a mindset where you wouldn’t dismiss someone based off their sex in anime; that’s the natural reaction. Only of the girls even brought that up, the other one didn’t.
The guy was sus for her nails, that’s fine. Basi was sus at both guy and girl who cosplayed lol
@@mrkmoney1234 not really its very obvius... Many Anime/Mangas cater to misogynistic views, as Japan itself is very misogynistic (they are nearly last on the gender equality index), and most anime are marketed for guys. So it woud be clear to anyone that guys that make anime a part of thair lives (Otakus), they tend to share the misogynistic views.
Yeah obito is an uchiha but I think he was talking about her other nails with the eyes that obito didn’t have
Wasn't his point that she didn't know Obito's name though? He said that she called him ORBITO.
@@kennyquesadilla Not enough people talking about how he pronounced 'Rinnegan' lmao
Mei was lowkey the only one I NEVER suspected. She knew too much and you could tell her heart was in it. When she laughed at junjou romantica being brought up lol …
Saying they've never heard of misogyny in the anime community and then continuously saying someone who has wine nights wouldn't watch anime and how "maybe her brother watches it" when Alex literally said HIS brother did.... gotta do some introspection
Basi literally said he can’t say anything if she watches AoT drunk when he watched anime high. That’s not Misogynistic to say about wine, they didn’t mention sex at all; they mentioned the act of drinking wine at a wine night as they watch anime. They’re talking about that act, only issue are the people making that a misogyny thing when it clearly wasn’t.
@mrkmoney1234 Wine nights are very commonly attributed to women, you have to look into cultural context, not everything is simple face value
@@hxpewxrld That's a fair statement, jorobe. Nobody expects a wine night femcel to watch anime anymore than one would expect people like Joe Rogan or Tim Thomas to be fans of the Today Show or The View.
It's middle school sociology to know that people gravitate to hobbies according to their personalities and social characteristics. Were you special ed or something?
THANK YOU. I literally kept thinking about this.
there are worse in the otaku community. you just gotta shrug and shake your head and let out a sigh coz some guys will not get it.
I knew Mei was an anime fan when she recognized all the obscure anime like Chobits, Junjou Romantica, and Sonny Boy.
i can’t believe it’s been subjected to obscure..
Nobody recognized sonny boy tho..?
When did Chobits become obscure lol. CLAMP has dominated the headlines every season they had something debuting.
In my head I'm like how is Chobits obscure? Like all of my anime friends in high school liked Chobits lol.
To be fair, "claiming" to recognize something can be easily done.
them questioning her bc she brought up very valid misogyny in anime community pissed me off so bad like omg
Fr!!!! I hate that that guy win7
me too
these are men who clearly have never talked to irl women before and it shows
Yeah the guy next to her and the other guy were so annoying. They gave me bully vibes
they fr gas-lit her into thinking she was reading "tOo mUCh inTo iT"
They don’t know about misogyny in the anime community??? Then they proceed to prove her point 😃
TEAAAA
literally proved her whole point. so frustrating to watch how she was an island in that interaction
What even is misogyny?
@blazetaro1304lol, for real?
@blazetaro1304being prejudice/discriminatory against women
when that guy said "what about that is misogynistic?" i knew he was an anime fan
He really proved he was a real anime fan by being misogynistic, then denying misogyny in the anime community exists
I’ll never forget how I applied to this show and Jubille didn’t accept the application😔
They knew you'd make it easy!
Really?! Why?!
My condolences
you ain't him lil bro
😔
The option to eliminate both because they couldn't decide seems unfair to me, especially in that situation where there was indeed 'nothing to lose' for it. It messes up the stakes and the rules
I think they only did it because he was supposed to contest, one of them HAD something to lose, and he was supposed to fight for that without being obvious.
Yeah, plus the helper would never vote for the mole and so the only remaining contestant couldn't get enough votes on his own. So it would be unfair cause he has no shot at winning.
@mbthewarlord5702 yeah honestly the liars should've won at that point considering they were 2v2, like mafia/among us. The helper probably didn't know that him winning wouldn't give him a win so he just went with it thinking he won either way.
They should do rock paper scissors best out of 3 to decide who goes if they can't agree on one.
As an anime fan it was obvious that it was alex
He kept mentioning mainstream anime, and he mentioned that his brother always talks about it, which means that he was usually annoyed 😅😂
I mean he mentioned Sonny boy and St young men which is not mainstream at all especially st young men which is why he doesn't mention any other animes due to limitation and probably gave up XD, and he did the Sasageyo pose which he could have taken out of context in how cringey it is.
I'm sorry, but he mentioned 1 mainstream anime, and a bunch of other stuff no one knew about.
lmao HE was the one listing the mainstream stuff??? you tripping
@@WieldMyWord yeah but he said the same 2 over and over and over again. most people I know who are even slightly into anime have watched at least 30 series, frmo that you should be able to say a couple of leser known ones. saying CN is obscure is unbelievable. and yeah, the fact he said about his brother. but also I was suspicious of the girl who had the wine night because it could easily be that her friends are into it and she gets dragged into it and therefore has a lot of knowledge. like I really don't like war series but I have watched all of band of brothers because my housemates in uni all watched it together
@@thatsinteresting3415 lol i recognized everything he mentioned. but i didn't bother with those titles. no, not even deathnote. i watched 1 dn episode and i was like not my cup of tea, and not because it was scary coz it's not.
As a woman who grew up watching a lot of anime I can agree that misogyny does still have a place in the community unfortunately and its a shame that Mei wasn't taken seriously for raising it. Its not all guys but theres definitely those who are condescending towards women, particularly 'conventionally attractive' women in the community who are treated like posers. Voting out Mei who clearly knew the most sums it all really.
I don't think this whole thing was about the issue of misogyny.
It was about figuring out who the secret hater was. And obviously someone who expresses discontent with the community is going to sound like a hater.
No it doesn’t. , you are saying hatred of women. YOU ARE ALL INSANE FOR THINKING THAT. 😂
@@TrillStyleszmisogyny doesn’t just mean hatred towards women. what are you saying?
@@youdidntaskbutweanswered "Misogyny: dislike of, contempt for, or ingrained prejudice against women." A quick google search can tell you you're wrong. That's exactly what it means, buster.
@@Rembones you just proved my point by saying that, though. it doesn’t JUST mean hatred towards women.
This intro is hilarious like LMAO
The mole was so obvious when they could only name 2-3 anime. I'm surprised they stay that long!!!
The mole named more than 10 anime... He remembered them from research, but you can be saying things are obvious, when you aren't even paying attention.
no fr and the helper bc he was full on dickriding alex so much it was so obvious from round one it was alex and then the helper from round two instantly😭😭
if I was playing the game and was in that situation. I’d probably think he knew a lot of anime but forgot bc he was getting nervous (he is the mole though so at the end it doesn’t really matter) but yeah
his literal first words were "i used to hate anime". keeping him but kicking out mei was insane
It was obvious to me from the intro. Look at his face and demeor, he looked like he DID NOT want to say that / did NOT mean what he said .
the way those two guys don’t understand how lots of women face mysogyny in the anime community tells me they’re a part of the problem
I mean not really. Anime is so popular anyone hanging out in modern anime groups don't have that problem. Now if we are talking about sex workers using anime for clout then okay I can sorta understand
Real
@@mal1362 but we're talking about people who have watched anime for majority of their lives, they know the term 'elitist' and are deep in anime communities. you're telling me they've never witnessed a girl being cast off or not taken as seriously when speaking about anime? they always think we only watch romance or shoujo. It's quite similar to the gaming community.
@kaego._. Most likely no based off their reactions. It’s one thing if someone (guy or girl) act like they watch Anime but when you talk to them, they don’t know what they’re talking about; they would be cast out for lying. Like if I came to you and said I love watching Dragon ball Z and when you ask me what’s my favorite moment in the series and I say when Jiraiya trained Naruto, you’ll cast me out too lol. There’s a ton of women at comic cons and the few I went to never had women cast out lol.
not even men misogynistic but fujoshi themselves too lmfao
Misogny is a very prevalent issue in the anime community. I would urge the guys in this video who were confused/pushed back and others who don’t know about it to research about it online and/or talk to more women who are fans of anime about it. Esp if you’re new to anime you might not be aware but as the years go on, the more you get into it as a women, the more likely you see the issue.
This fr… also the oversexualization esp on young characters is so disgusting yet when women points it out the guys just try to shut us off
@@flo-hd7px Bruh that is japan culture for you ...they want big boobies woman ....so
I personally haven't noticed much of it, but I'm not about to claim it's not there. Reacting to a claim like this with essentially "I haven't experienced it therefore you're wrong" is just crazy 😭
@@flo-hd7pxWell of course they do, most Shonen anime are marketed towards teens, not to mention high school life is basically idolized in Japan since its "the last time of being truly free", so, when you combine all that it makes sense that most of the characters they make will be underage, not to mention they're trying to be "more relatable" to the teenager audience, because people, generally speaking, enjoy watching something that they can relate to, people who are say 21 have entirely different struggles, thoughts, feelings, etc from someone who's 16
Now does that make the oversexualiztion of literal minor characters "ok"? Absolutely not, for the people making it/saying it needs to be made, I'm 16 so I'm not particularly effected by the "pedophile" allegations concerning oversexualized 16 year olds
Why would you care about what stranger thinks about you liking what you like?
Not those guys shutting down homegirls experience with misogyny in the community and immediately proving her point 🙄
Glad I wasn’t the only one who noticed
@amanduuuh_7117 They shut it down since they never seen it, nothing wrong with that. The few exceptions don’t define the rule. These are 2 strangers who never once seen that happened; even Mei didn’t join in and say she dealt with that. It’s not something that happens. They voted her out for being sus; she looked like she was helping the other guy who looked sus which is why she was voted out; her sex had nothing to do with it. Only sexist people would bring up sex when it was never mentioned or shown as a reason. One of the guys outright trusted Mei as a fan and didn’t vote for her.
@@mrkmoney1234 "The few exceptions " its not few, it was very common just few years ago, before it became mainstream like 4 years ago.
@@mrkmoney1234 "since they never seen it" how tf? it's like saying you have never seen racism or pedophilia in the "otaku community", are they never on Twitter, Tiktok, any social platform? It's obvious, logical, since misogyny is literally EVERYWHERE, so if you really think you've "never seen it" (maybe you have but you didn't realize) If you hear a WOMAN say that at least it's something you'd think "ok that makes sense and it sucks"
@@mrkmoney1234 it takes three braincells to realize that they probably haven't seen it because they're not women, if they haven't seen it, it means nothing. people who actually engage in that sort of stuff generally don't flaunt it my dude, because you must be a dude. "this one person didn't vote for her so therefore the others couldn't have done it for sexist reasons" mf please. not even saying they did do it but your kneejerk defense is unseemly
Mei is so obviously an anime fan, how in the world did she get voted out TwT but to be fair, she should’ve used the anime knowledge she displayed throughout the conversations in the debate instead so.. ughh but I love her vibe
i hated how basi and angel just shut down mei when she was expressing misogyny in the anime community…how can you deny someone else’s experience especially a woman’s when you’re not one lol
I mean, you can have input on it without being a woman, but they were just wrong.
@ @ yeah i agree you can have input on the topic without being a woman but that’s why i said i didn’t like that they denied her experience not that they were involved in the discussion about it.
They have their own expierences that are just as valid, and the literal point of this series is to kick people who don't fit in your expierence of the certian topic.
I think it's just because this is a gameshow where you're supposed to be suspicious of others. I don't think they really meant it in that way at all, they just thought it could be a tell
@Hieroph4nt They didn't experience it, And their opinion was invalid. 🤌🏻
It was so clear the 2 "niche" guys were defending each other, yet the girl that knew the most got voted out, and the other one "might have a brother that watches anime". xD I feel like it was so obvious they were a team.

Showing my age here but as somebody who's been a weeb since the early 2000s the blatant denial of misogyny in the community is wild to me.
I'm sorry, but what I don't get is how that's being so focused on when the prevalence of pd files and registered folk in the anime community are insane. 😭 as a woman, misogyny is bad for sure; but most people hear that and think "oh they're unfair to women and treat them differently." it seems insignificant in the reality of how many are abusive to women and children.
@@bean6047I didn't know we were only allowed to care about 1 issue at a time
@@bean6047wdym by "registered folk"?
Also misogyny is much easier to adress than the "pd file" issue. Many people don't make the distinction between fiction and reality in such discussions, and accuse people who like small (fictional) characters of abusing real children, which makes the whole conversation messier than it should be.
Imo both topics are worth discussing, so I don't really get your point that misogyny shouldn't be focused on because there are other issues in the community.

Not in the way she mentioned it tho. The most mysogyny in anime stems from the actual poorly written female characters in the anime...
Why would men not thinking women "really" watch anime be this huge prevalent thing in the community lmfao.
That's like me saying the same thing for black people "they don't think we really watch anime" OH boohoo *the oppression* :(
What she said was sus asf bc women make up the majority of animes out including fans. Including cosplayers and yaoi readers.
*Remember boys most women only started watching anime a few years ago. Before that it was very uncool and we were laughed at for watching anime*
*DO NOT let them in now nor accept them. They will call you misogynistic but who cares.*

Issue is its not misogyny which is why she came off as sus AF. Toxicity which affects women? Sure, course that exists as does toxicity affecting men. But being in disagreement with someone, who just happens to be a girl, isn't the same as hating all women purely for being a woman, which is what misogyny is.

Not 2 men who get a woman to backtrack on her point of view of being a woman in the anime community lmao it can be very toxic to women. Women get stalked at conventions, get touched when they don't consent, get bullied and "tested" on their anime knowledge. That whole joke of "You like (insert band/show/interest here)? Name 5 things associated to it" also applies to anime. There are always dudes who try to make a woman prove herself and her knowledge or that she's a "real fan"

Eyyyy ❤
Ain’t no way he said junjo romantica
I wheezed
The best answer
Both of them being nervous in the end like they didn't eliminate literally everyone else 😂
Guy said he was suss of the girl cause she showed the Uchiha symbol and said Obito 💀
i found this funny too because obito is an Uchiha lmfaooo
this episode was the most wholesome one I have ever seen on this channel. They laughed so much, this video made me really happy
The fact that George saw the Uchiha symbol and questioned why she said Obito is so funny!! 😂
Those 2 guys sussing Mei out really gotta do research about it online and talk to more women who are fans of anime about it
OMG SERAPH OF THE END MENTJON IMMEDIATELY LOVE THEM
It's funny how they pretended they didn't know that there is plenty of elitism and misogyny within the anime and manga community. 😂😂😂😂
The way they edited it to be like anime 😭
I think mei might have not explained it the best way but there is NO WAY they didn’t know what she was saying like huh???😭😭😭
I remember whenever I would tell someone that watched anime, the anime’s I watch and tried to one up me and majority of the time THEY WERE MEN 😂
this is by far the most entertaining odd one out i’ve seen 😭
Crazy how Mi was voted out. She literally said she doesn’t talk about anime with people online (air typing on a keyboard gesture), but does talk about it with her friends… but then says Wine Night with friends and gets shut down. Same people who thought bringing misogyny into the conversation made no sense….
The anime opening into the sponsored segment combo was elite 😂
I'm just scrolling through liking your comments
This is my new favorite video on Jubilee!!! The editing was seriously S tier. It has restored my faith in the anime community
never thought junjou romantica would be mentioned on jubilee 😭
so glad those experts were there to let the women know how empowering it is!!
Mole had the most hen tai protag energy ever lol
Hentai Protags are all like Sung Jinwoo, not him.
Nah the misogyny is definitely a thing. Especially with shonen
one of the best intros in jubilee history
The fact that no one mentioned Studio Ghibli is a crime
Most non-anime fans have watched a Ghibli film to be fair. I know tons of people who wouldn't even mentally consider it as anime.
@@iridoscyclitis Yeah, I was in love with Kiki's Delivery Service long before I even knew what anime was. Ghibli does feel more like animation rather than anime a lot of the time.
They probably thought they would seem sus because lots of people who aren't into anime know and love Ghibli
to me that's part of a different conversation. it's like saying "what do you prefer, bojack or south park" "I like Aladdin". like ghibli is almost in an entirely different category, it has more in common with disney than it has with any other anime they listed. even yugioh and pokemon have that distinct shounen vibe and anime tropes, joey making jojo faces, the way characters stand and talk, but ghibli is entirely different
@ anime is literally a Japanese derived meaning from animation, they're the same thing
How did no one catch that at 11:57 bro agreed with her and then started disagreeing when he saw someone else disagree 12:06
he was the ally. it was his goal to sway people. He just hopped on the train to get people eliminated
LOL, poor Eva girl... once she mentioned the _something_ that bothered her the *dudes* rejected her. Wowza! The world kind of sucks in a way more than it did yesterday.
they really just proved her point with that 💀 like it bothered me so much
Something I gotta mention is that Angel initially AGREED with Mei on the misogyny part, but then disagreed once the majority (Mi and Basi) were confused by what she was saying. This makes sense when you realise he was a traitor and had to manipulate to stay in.
Have to make sure people stop mixing it up, because I keep seeing people act like Angel was terrible while ignoring how Mi disagreed with Mei as well.
NO WAY they did an anime opening for this one. GENIUS
Those same misogynistic incels be hating on the bnha fandom saying we sexualize men too much when they do the same to every anime girl but suddenly they hate bnha bc of the fujo fd lol ??, i seriously don't even ship bd but just bc it makes them angry i wanna say i love bnha fandom keep it up
Being told not to sexualize minors isn't misogyny 😂
@@fracask1049 They obviously weren't thinking about the minors part. They meant "men"
My fujo sisters/brothers deserve better 😭Not the extremely toxic ones obviously (which I think is over-exaggerated) but the ones who just happen to pair two guys tgt because it makes them happy! Shipping is a hobby, not something to be demonized.
@@allopeep543 its crazy for ur hobby to be shipping bro, like ur chilling at home and bored and u start shipping randoms, holy life u got 😭
@ But it's literally not even that random? Romance is one of the most popular genres, and you have to be ignorant to not understand the appeal. Shipping is a big aspect of that. Heck, yk the way I like to have fun? Making piano pieces based on my favorite characters. It's just a way I want to engage with fictional media that I like. As long as it's not doing anyone harm who tf cares.
I knew it was Alex immediately. Everyone said they were an anime fan smiling and happy. And Alex was dead faced.
Yeah he had very weird body language and the way he talks about it kind of gives me the intellectual go against the grain type :0
bro the editing this episode is so fun!
least obv editor's alt acc
Jubilee sold with the double elimination 😂 Should’ve made them pick one ! I would’ve liked to see how Alex would convince to get Mi out haha
The way this opens in anime style. Someone deserves a cookie over in editing.
Editing was top tier. Chef’s kiss 👨🍳
This was the first episode where i could confidently tell not only the mole but also the ally. Alex answers gave it away so fast and the fact he mentioned Death Note when it really didn't fit in and mentioned anime i've never heard about before, but said he didn't recognize some of the anime the other contestants mentioned, even tough those were fairly mainstream/well known gave it away
If yo watch anime and don’t see the blatant misogyny idk what to tell you, like look at any the female naruto characters not to mention the fan service, the community definitely emulates the same beliefs it’s crazy to deny that
yall are butchering the word misogyny that word is losing its meaning.
@@VerveyAnimationNo, you're just uneducated on the subject. I'm not even being rude either. Media oversexualizing women has what goal in mind?
I don't see your point about the Naruto characters. Lots of strong female characters in Naruto...
@@sv_sup6661 Well it's not just about strong characters but how they are viewed or portrayed.
Although I don't think "fan service" is inherently misogynistic.
MISOGYNY WINS ONCE AGAIN
How so? It was never in the video other than when Mei brought it up and no one backed her up including the other girl there
@@mrkmoney1234this is not true.
”What do we lose if we..?” ”Nothing”
As soon as he said Death Note was his first, the game was over XD
Main character: Mi
Main villain: Alex
Mastermind: angel
Victims: Mei and George
Lucky one: Basi
Basi won because he was easily manipulated 💀💀💀
The mole was so obvious and Basi was on to him for awhile. The ally became super obvious when it was the last 4 and he kept going for Mi, despite the mole having a neon arrow pointing to them.
Ngl I thought it was the Naruto cosplayer. Bro didn’t know Obito was an uchigger
Basi trusting Alex for having the "anime look", and then later going "I knew it" was peak 😂
Sooooo.... Jubilee producers def don't watch the Challenge or Survivor. Since the 2 guys couldn't make a decision the producer should have warned them they risk eliminating their selves. of course they were gonna say eliminate both.
Yessss the challenge i love it
The Challenge mentioned in the wild. Love it! Been watching since the beginning.
It was a 2v2 at that point. The only way the anime fans could win is with the double elimination. They should have ended the game once it got to 4 players if the double elimination wasn't an option
Hey Angel 💕❤️ here I was in the video
So the reason why we had to eliminate both was because my job was to protect Alex 🧔🏻♂️ at all costs
@@jimos2021 but if you decide to eliminate both you automatically lose. If you self eliminate at least he’d have one more round to play.
