      The exception confirms the rule.
But anyways, it's just a joke everyone in dance class makes. When our teacher says we have to run to our next spot, suddenly we want to run elegantly but that looks hideous. It's very funny.

@@niagara6015 To be fair, I think it's like a subconsious locomotion thing You dance and run very little, muscle memory kicks in and for some people, they'd rather dance than run, it's because your muscles are trained like that. I remember when I was a kid, I find skipping a lot more easier because I skipped a lot, but when I skipped less, I find it easier to run.

You also might be able to find a mixed-level teen class, but those are harder to find. Lots of colleges also have beginner classes, if you end up at a college! And I always suggest Kathryn Morgan's RUclips classes if you want something to do at home. I took Ballet 🩰 for approximately 3 years when I was young. Unfortunately, due to a pretty bad case of Scoliosis, I was never allowed to go on pointe. It's just as well considering I never grew taller than 4'9" . Anyway, watching your show brings back some very fond memories and makes me laugh my behind off. Thank you.

    YES! YES! YES!!!
I would definitely take a barre only class with Josephine.
At my age, health and length of time since I've danced en pointe (approximately 36 years) I can only do flats for quite awhile. I'd still take her barre only classes. They would perfectly suit me.
By the way, I love the changes & improvements made to all ballet shoes.
Josephine, thank you for your amazing videos. I look forward to them.
Please be safe, be strong, and remember to Love Yourself so that you may best Love Others.
