      If I'm not mistaken then I've realised, the models eyes are so dark because all the vessels are so small and densely populated their combined absorption within a small area makes them darker than the veins in the models arms.

    They use somthing similar to help nurses find patients veins when attempting iv. The tools are insanely ezpensive Red light tech, and some infared and far red tech.

    How do you achieve this look? Did you have to convert your camera or can I achieve this look with a filter ?

    • @matejhrubes8804
      @matejhrubes8804 Месяц назад

      Conversion will help for sure. I suspect this effect is more pronounced the further you go into infrared (so say 850nm would be nice) and since IR blocking filters are quite effective in unconverted cameras, you'd be dealing with pretty long exposure times. But it can probably be done in a pinch. You surely wouldn't be taking any video in IR without conversion. This inspired me to buy some cheap M4/3 junker and convert it myself. It isn't that complicated if you're a bit handy.

    Wish someone pops up and shows all the NIR wavelengths filters and analyzes the facial recognition hardwares behaviours for a week on each wavelength filter, from 750nm and up to 2500nm and check if those lights can pass through the human tissue putting their hand infront of the flood illuminator VCSEL (NIR) and the face recognition Near-IR light projector (iphones dot projectors) while on a phone call simulating the act of sticking the phone to the head but doing it with the hand infront of the front camera, and all the sensors and see if the proximity sensor, flood illuminator and or facial recognition system NIR light projector passes through the hand tissue.
    This is very concerning, they might be scanning people's neuroelectric signals while people are on the phone and checking people's feelings while on the phone.

    I've always wanted to do this but it never worked for me. What is the threshold of the IR filter that must be used in this case? or is it dependent on the level of IR being captured? (or maybe because I'm fat? 🤔)

    • @MathieuStern
      @MathieuStern  Год назад +13

      Fat or not it should work the same, you have veines under your skin.
      You need a Full spectrum camera with a 920nm filter in front of your lens to get this effect, and you need to film parts of the skin that are very thin like under the forearm, or on the chest or inside hands

      @@MathieuStern ah the cloest i have is 950nm (and I have 850nm i think) hmm would that work? our sun is still shining here despite the winter so i might as well try again lol

      @@MathieuStern You want to create some real cool content? Get an IR light source, something in the 5W and up range. Then take a picture of an arm in the dark with the light source pressed to the back of the arm. It will basically look like an X ray. You can see through the arm. All veins inside. I've done this about 15 years ago and still have some pictures.

      @@nimmiranot sure if you misunderstood OP reply. Full spectrum means the internal filters have been removed from your camera. Something you’d have probably paid someone to do.
