About the bird in flight - i needed thousand shots to catch the flying swift sharp and good with Nikon DSLR and a basic lens. It was super complicated and i had to actually fix focus and wait in the end. No way about chasing that bird through the ~200mm lens against sky/water with simple no clutter background. I tried different tracking techniques, no way, really a gamble. I got Canon R8 and a 70-200 last year and tried the same, except the background was greenery clutter and buildings almost the same color as a swallow i was chasing. It took me three bursts, following, with auto-focus in a zone covering some 1/5 of the frame (animal tracking option on) to take perfectly sharp picture - not one, but entire series. It is amazing how this auto-focus works! For years i used one point, but with this new thing i can really rely on the auto-focus to catch sport action and any fast movement. It's crazy.
@@DANIELMILNOR505 i did some mountain bike race photos with a boreoee fuji, no complaints - all sharp, nice and easy to use! They make it all pretty good nowdays!
Hi Daniel. I've followed your channel on and off for a couple years now, about the time I started self publishing zines and digest photo books. I'm not sure when you added the Zf to your gear, but yup, I love the Zf and 40 - more than any other Z body and lens. It is most compatible with how I see the world. As for the wild boat rides, the smaller and lighter the gear the more likely you will be able to get something, if not " the shot ". I use OM 1, which works for me. Carry on.
Love me some Zf. Am also going to a friend's how, someone I ran into last night, who is a Nikon shooter. He has the Z8 and 100-400, which for my birding habit could be deadly.
@@DANIELMILNOR505 Yup, the Zf needs a grip to help with that lens, the Z6ii, 8 or 9 will do nicely, but Z5 can't focus fast enough. Zf will work, but ergonomics are just not as good. 1.4 TC is also a must for birding ... "come here little boy, just try one little hit ... "
I agree about the maté 🧉 giving a mental clarity. It’s so yummy too Haha! But really. I always drank unsweetened iced tea as a teenager and so I loved the flavor! Have you ever had Kvass? Russian (I think) soda. Tastes like garbage soda but I was down with it! 🤣🤣🤣
Welsh Scoundral here, 'Snot Rocket Matte Gulper' lol. tend to agree with you re the fragility of the Antarctica, its our children and their children who will be affected by our neglect with regard to curbing climate change. We wont change it over nihjgt, but our attituded needs to change for their sake. Hope you'll ship out the zines to the UK, take care and hope you get the house sorted...
I’m glad you brought up the climate change thing. Climate change is happening but is it “cars” or is it a larger earth cycle that’s taking place. Are politics weaponizing a large climate cycle? That’s my question.
Not sure. All I know is the data points to massive warming and massive warming tied to the beginnings of the industrial age until now. There is no doubt the last hundred years have been detrimental to the planet's health. Personally, I believe a huge percentage of that is based on human behavior.
If people don’t know that New Mexico is in the US I can only imagine what they think about Antarctica. I had some friends from Europe that spoke 5 languages, I think they went to public school.
Divide and conquer
Hey, king scoundrel glad to see another film so quickly after the last. As usual it was my pleasure watching the film.
King Scoundrel, I love it.
@DANIELMILNOR505 but you didn't even mention nazi bases and ufos so yeah we know what you saw lol
Those are AirBnB's now.
Looking forward to seeing the work , more specifically the work with the smaller camera around your neck, the one thats says you! 😊
A few keepers in there.
I agree with the Hair style part too. :)
Waiting for part 2 now.

Yes, my Fuji works pretty well. It's not quite as fast as my friends with Z8s or A7's or R5's but it's pretty darn good.

Yes, like unsweetened tea too
Why buy something from a company that is so negligent in sensitive customer data protection?
Nat Geo? Fuji? Apple? Who?

Well, we used to have reindeer in Ushuaia... unfortunately nobody ate the beavers, yet 😢

quite a few folks confuse it with the arctic. They get there and ask about polar bears.....
please don't tell me this.. I have enough anger inside@@DANIELMILNOR505
