    Nice! I was both inspired and learned a couple of things on how I can integrate some of his methods into my passion. And like you said years ago "If you don't print, it doesn't count". Allan is a testament to that.

    Really cool insight here, and Allan's prints are just absolutely gorgeous. The bit about following what you feel is honestly just sage advice for all things, not just photography, and its very reassuring to hear that from someone as seasoned as him. I hope I can make prints as well and beautiful as he does one day. Thanks for this interview, Dan 🙏

    His photography is really wonderful. I’m curious to learn more about his technique; he’s shooting long exposures on film, with reflectors brought in and out, while at the same time firing a strobe multiple times??; how does he meter for that?? How does he know when to fire the strobe, and at what intensity? I would really love to know! Or is he just winging it? (And by “winging it” i don’t mean that in a pejorative way….an artist with 30 years of experience in the medium who is winging it, is very different than a newbie winging it.)

    Hi Dan. You don’t need a Leica Q3 43mm. But to hell with it.

    • @DANIELMILNOR505
      @DANIELMILNOR505  3 месяца назад +1

      I will most likely get an x100VI, but keep with the Nikon as my main rig. My wife loves the X100 series and I've got future plans for bike/photography projects where the VI will be perfect. The Leica costs more than the entire trip I have planned. That is just too much.

    • @robmcd

      @@DANIELMILNOR505 that amount hurts absolutely. I had the X100 and went to the XT4 because I’m a left eye dominant guy
