- Gustav Klimt (July 14, 1862 - February 6, 1918) was an Austrian symbolist painter and one of the most prominent members of the Vienna Secession movement. Klimt is noted for his paintings, murals, sketches, and other objets d'art. Klimt's primary subject was the female body, and his works are marked by a frank eroticism. In addition to his figurative works, which include allegories and portraits, he painted landscapes. Among the artists of the Vienna Secession, Klimt was the most influenced by Japanese art and its methods.

I warning to public not all the painting show here belong to Klimt. Example not by Klimt: minutes, 1:58; 2:02 at right the work belong to Anne-Marie Zilberman; 0:21at left not belong to Klimt; 2:28 different face and 2:33 a bad version of Danae and a self-portrait of Klimt himself, but Klimt never painting himself in stand-up position.

At left is " The Kiss" (1907-08) do it by Klimt, the painting at right is not by Gustav Klimt, the name is "Golden Tears" and belong to Anne-Marie Zylberman (even if you see the complete work, has her signature on your hair below at right "AMZ"). I warning to public not all the painting show here belong to Klimt. Example not by Klimt: minutes, 1:58; 2:02 at right; 2:26; 0:21; 2:28 and 2:33.

1:28 I swear I have seen that gorilla somewhere else before! I think in a computer game!
I hope whoever created the game got copywriting approval before copying it out of a Klimt painting!
Or maybe I should say "copying her", if the rest of the subjects are female, then it is a good bet the gorilla is, too.
Especially since she is shocked and disapproving of them running around naked. 😦
too much moving into the picture...show part of the pic then move out...the art can be appreciated more using that simple technique...
