- Just imagine, you're having a lovely meal in a fancy restaurant & then all of a sudden JAWS turns up! That's what the characters in Jaws 3 face when the shark tries to attack the resort restaurant.
From Jaws 3 (1983): A group of marine biologists attempt to capture a young great white shark. Later, chaos follows when its ferocious mother breaks into the marine centre in order to avenge the death of its baby.

The scariest thing about this film is how slow the shark swims, I’m surprised it didn’t die. You could have no arms or legs and still manage to outswim it.
"Zombie Shark, doo-doo, doo-doo..."
I think that due to the 3D effects of the film.
Must be due to its large size, compared to the baby.
Well for a great white 35 feet is just massive and it would obviously be clunky haha
There are scenes showing the shark moving as fast as a motorboat.
I loved all the Jaws movies as a kid. Back then I thought 3 and 4 were the best ones. Then as I got older I liked the original 2 the most.
Me too

RIP Lou Gossett and his many great lines
Fear is hardly a word I’d associate with this movie.
You mean, if a large shark was coming toward you while you were trying to have dinner in an underwater restaurant, you wouldn't have any fear? I'd be panicked and hyperventilating if I was there.
Except for the part where the guy is swallowed alive and we see it from inside the mouth. Traumatized me.
@@jameshowlett3678 Same with me. But, it wasn't the most graphic scene. That "honor" goes to when they find the remains of Shelby Overman, the diver who tried to fix the gate early in the film. I'll spare you the details, but it's really sickening.
I'm thinking laughter.
@@davidcolantuono3622 in real life? Yes. Watching this movie? More like laughs and eye rolls.
I don’t know how many times a year I randomly say “Its mother is inside the park!” In the same stern voice
"We talkin' bout some damn sharks mother?!" My second favorite Louis Gossett Jr. quote next to, "GRITS DUMMY!"

Apparently, people find it funny. Just look how they responded to my comments.

@@bentonmarcum8924 I responded to Mr. W's comment when he said, "Fear is hardly a word I'd associate with this movie." In that thread is where some people found my comments - and the film itself - funny.
well, there have been reports of a 30 foot shark near marthas vineyard..and not i am not joking.
Wouldn’t it be a megladon
This movie was my favorite of the series because I find a shark trapped in a confined space scarier than one in an ocean that covers well over half the planet.
I used to go swimming in the ocean all the time as a little kid, right up until I saw my first Jaws movie. And no, I'm not talking about the original Jaws-- I'm talking about Jaws 3-D.
I was 9-years old, and saw it at the local theater when it first came out (in 1983). My mother had wanted to see the Disney re-release of Snow White instead, but I nagged her to take me to this Jaws movie instead.
And then the entire time I was watching it, I kept wishing we HAD gone to see Snow White instead!
It's hard to believe today that this movie scared me so much back then, but I literally had nightmares for 9 months after seeing it. I was just sitting there, miserable and petrified the entire time in the theater that afternoon, and everytime the gigantic mother shark was on the screen, I would take the 3-D glasses off so the picture would be blurry and easier to tolerate.
But right before the shark was destroyed at the end, I put the glasses back ON, because I wanted to SEE the demise of that monster that had caused so much tragedy in all its clear 3-D glory! And that moment where it shows the creature's JAWS flying right out of its MOUTH as it's blown up was a horror movie CLASSIC!
The special effects in this movie were somewhat cheesy at times, but still much better than those of Jaws 4. And another redeeming quality of this movie is the likeability of the human characters, and strong acting performances (which Jaws 4 also had).
Today, I have the entire Jaws series in my dvd collection (Jaws 2 is actually my favorite), and I credit these movies in general for my continued aversion to the ocean. I forgot what ocean water even SMELLS like!
We’re the same age and we saw this at 9 in ‘83.
Yep. I was 7 in '83- and this movie scared the bejesus out of me in the theater. Still the scariest for me in many ways.
The special effects in this movie is the scariest thing about it....I thought that little yellow submarine was gonna land in my livingroom....and the fast forwarded scenes of the diver and dolphins was just amazing....any 6th grade amateur film maker would be proud.
The special effects in this movie is the scariest thing about it I thought that
„Mommy is very angry“ Remember what Malcolm once said 🥴
The shark is like 'here's momma"
Only 3 things happened inside the park!
1.Overman was killed inside the park!
2.The baby was caught inside the park!
3.Its mother is in--side the park!
4. This movie sucked inside the park!

I love the random lady saying “How did that thing get in here!?”
What did fitzroyce do the shark's nose? Whatever he poked the shark with, looked like burnt the shark.
@@Critic_Chris90210 right? Something was going on.
@@Critic_Chris90210 The weapon FritzRoyce used against the shark was a
"Bang Stick" or PowerHead, it looked like a spear, but the device has a cartridge, like a bullet, when the diver would strike the shark the bullet would be ejected by the effect of pressure gasses, this was a popular anti-shark device in the 70's and 80's, the damage was variable, depending on the bullet you had and the animal you were shooting, judging FritzRoyce and the access he had to experimental weaponry, I would say that he shot the shark with those big game bullets, this weapon exists, are still sold, to kill crocodiles and sharks, if you point that device directly to the head of a shark with a magnum 44 cartridge you might kill the animal with a single shot, or a human, those are dangerous devices. some bullets can also be explosive.
How that shark didn’t win an Oscar is beyond the will of Christ !!!! 😢
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Imagine going from An Officer and a Gentleman to this. Still, as a bald man I'll always revere and esteem Louis Gossett Jr. Calvin was Larry Vaughn's brother from another mother.
💯😂
It is amazing this movie didn't kill Louis Gosset Jr and Dennis Quaid's careers.
I wish I were eating at that restaurant to see that mighty Megaladon peeking around.
Happy 40th Anniversary….inside the park!
You know, the whole "Mother goes on a rampage after the death of her child" thing would work better with a creature that actually gave a damn about its young.
That's not why she's attacking though.
I always thought she was just hungry, and the baby being in the park was just a plot device for them to figure out the mother is in the park.
Adult sharks will eat their young if they dont swim away, so made sense the mother follows the baby in and obviously its harder to get a predatory fish to leave as it entered a water park willingly on its own. I liked the idea of Seaworld or a place like it be terrorized by a 35 ft great white. This movie i find better over The Revenge.
@@Critic_Chris90210 As bad as The Revenge can be, at least it actually felt like a Jaws film versus this one.
@@alucard624 i liked it because it was atleast different from the first two that were great.
Only reason this movie was good is a had been drinking wine coolers all day then stepped into the theater back in 83😂 , i laughed the whole time😂😂😂
2:44 that is one big mama
This movie is such a guilty pleasure, god i love it hahah
I really liked this one when i was a kid. I actually thought it was better than part 2. Just recently saw it in 3-D at a local theater and man it was even cheesier and faker than i remembered 😂 I could at least appreciate the underwater scenes shot in South Florida since I live here as a scuba diving instructor
In scene start we see real small sharks before that big one comes... This movie did have few good scenes sure but some was very bad..
That goes for all 4 movies in this series!!!!
As a 6 years old, I used to love that movie.
Shark's looking for the buffet.
I was both scared and amazed by this scene.
It didn't try to attack the restaurant. She just wanted to look through the window as if to say, (Okay I know some of you are responsible for the death of my child. & someone's going to pay)!
Jaws 3 looking into the restaraunt: Where'd you get that halibut? Looks delicious, all I can find swimming round here are damn humans
Yeah later it goes through the glass but here it just comes to check them out??😂
I just hope Seaworld Orlando gets a tiger shark once again, that would be cool
Best moment in the Jaws series.
Even if its just a fews seconds.
That said.
There are no words for this movie.

Love this scene. Freaked me out as a kid...
For some odd reason this makes me think of an underwater criminal line up.
That’s the shark!!!
Movie: The baby was found in the park! The MOTHER is in the park!!
Me: Baby Shark Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo... Mommy Shark Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo...
Maybe he just wanted a quick bite ??
How these actors delivered these LOL lines with a straight face, well, that's acting!
Bouchard : “ Tchin Tchin … uh, Cheers 🥂 “ I like this scene 😊
This was a comedy classic this film...hilarious 🤣
RIP Lou Gossett Jr.
The shark's POV shots were the only best thing in this scene.
I honestly rather like this movie. Probably cause I love theme park settings usually, and young me considered this movie, at one point, way scarrier than the other two movies at the time since they actually are very often in the water with the shark and that one scene where the british guy gets sucked into the sharks mouth.
Its still crazy to me that they considered this one the bad one and tried to toss it out for Jaws the Revenge, which is a far worse movie.
But I also like to think think the Jaws series is the ultimate proof of the Folly of Hollywood, so I love all the movies in a unique way.
Jaws, the Lightning in the Bottle.
Jaws 2, The desperate need for that lightning in the bottle moments money.
Jaws 3d, bloated budget and product placement, trying to boost ratings(But mostly revenue) for the vampric hollywood execs by using a popular, barely working gimmick.
Jaws the Revenge, the Most pointless sequel that destroys the idea of a "Jaws Trilogy" in favor of being the true Third movie that is absolutely laughable on every level and the ultimate symbol of Hollywoods failings.
First few times I watched this movie & never could remember if it was the window Phillip was looking through at 0:02 that the huge shark smashed or the control room.
That's the cocktail lounge which is at the center of the complex along with the restaurant, the control room was situated further upward on top of the two rooms.
@@jamesfracasse8178 Good thing the shark did not decide to smash that window in the cocktail lounge. Don't know if she could have. The glass may have been too thick. But everybody was terrified when they saw the shark!
@@brettsoyars4341 originally from what I heard from a RUclips interview with the director for the film 📽️🎥 instead of the shark 🦈 plowing into the control room,he wanted to have the lounge and restaurant flood by the shark 🦈 breaking the lounge window instead and which would have caused a massive implosion which would have destroyed the entire of the complex as well as people in the outer pressurized tunnels.
If you look in the background, you can actually see a tiger shark in the aquarium 0:09

The shot of the tail fins, are great effects, in a film filled with many bad ones.
Quoi que les gens dusent, personnellement j'adore ce film. Merci pour l'extrait 👍
Dennis quaid was fine af
The shark was definitely more scary in this film
The underwater walk-through complex was an interesting idea to me as a kid. Took me a while to realize they were at the bottom of what was essentially a giant pool.
As a kid I was SO disappointed when I finally got to visit the real Sea World a few years later. One dinky tunnel about 30 feet long.
And there's a giant shark inside it
The extra at sitting at the bar at 52 seconds in a suit is a good one he looks miserable

2:25 The great white inside the park
電話してるおっさんに早く逃げろ!ってツッコミたくなる
What a pleasure it gave me to see Jaws 3D, a great shark wreaking havoc in a Sea Word that is more like a prison for any marine creature.
It’s difficult to know how the shark looks so terrible after the sharks in one and two 😂
This film had an $18 million budget versus the first film's $9 million. Most of the budget apparently was spent on just getting the 3-D effects to work and the shark was secondary as well as the plot, acting, etc.
It's made of the left over scraps of those two!!!!
This film woud have been better if the underwater footage wasn't so murky. You can barely see the shark and it's the best looking shark of the entire series.
I liked that. It's not murky but there is no lights in the open underwater during the night so watching the movie you are trying to see where the shark is plus it makes it scarier with the look of this shark.
I agree that shark looks great except when it's not moving at all and it looks so obviously fake but I do agree that special effects are best in this part...
“The best looking shark of the entire series.”
Lol what
Best looking shark....?
That distinction belongs and always will belong to the original.
@@amitypredator9385 I think it was a typo.
At 2:44, the shark is saying, "Hi Everybody, it's dinner time", 😅😅😅
Damn..I just watched this movie earlier in the week and now Louis Gossett Jr has died… :(
Rest easy. We now have lost two guys from this movie. RIP to Simon as well who we lost to Colon Cancer 14 years ago.
Si McCorkindale was a seriously underrated actor.
He saw his last years out with a stellar performance in Casualty, one of our top UK dramas before he sadly got claimed by the illness
@@daveattrill2712 my dad was rooting for him to be James Bond back in the 80s. He was heavily underrated
I wouldn't say it attacked a restaurant. More like it made an appearance then left everyone alone.😂
Jaws 3 is one of the best Jaws films in my opinion even though it doesn't beat the original... Reason why is because it's so funny and that shark looked so slow, fat and fake but Jaws 3 had so many good scenes aswell.
And the original doesn't beat 2! Except that Brody's character was better in the 1st one. Both
had crappy endings!!!!
0:00 - 0:30 the water is clear and bright
2:43 the water is murky and dark
Click bait the shark did not attack the restaurant.
It scared everyone though.
He almost did
Could of been cool to see the shark break the glass and start eating people
Mother shark
While this movie may not be as classic as the first two movies, I appreciated Jaws 3-D for the original idea. It is entertaining and could have been the last in this series.
Shark Attack 🦈
I've seen scarier moments in Nandos.
Lanjutkan 🦈🦈🦈🦈
This one sucked 😆 Should have stopped at JAWS 2.
“The shark still had all its teeth, which means it was a baby!” Wtf you mean? Sharks continuously lose and regrow their teeth throughout their lifetime, they never run out XD
Biggest fear: To be forced to watch this movie again.
From what Kay was trying to explain to Calvin, the mother great white shark followed the water skiers into the park causing the sea gate to get stuck open, killed Overman as he was securing the gate, and gave birth to the baby great white shark after that.
She's huge because she was pregnant
Jaws be like I'd like a table for 1😂😂😂😂
Guilty pleasure film for me, I've always liked Jaws 3, I know it's not really a good film (better than people give it credit for mind) but I always have a lot of fun watching it. It's so over the top and ridiculous, it's great fun, by comparison, Jaws: The Revenge is just a depressing (albiet occasionally hilarious) slog!
Nice 👍 0:33
Apparently the producers of the Jaws series decided to pretend this film never existed once they began scripting the fourth and final. That could be the only way to explain how Mike Brody went from being an underwater engineer to a marine biologist. Of course, they also likely wanted to forget this film simply because it was so bad. But, they ultimately wound up making one even worse with Jaws the Revenge.
Yeah its funny everyone went into to jaws 4 "Lets pretend 3 never happened" ....Skip ahead a bit, "Jaws 3 was a bad movie but not a terrible end to the series" while looking at Jaws the Revenge.
@@Spartan1312_Jaws 3 was supposed to be the end of the franchise, and have a plot twist in which the park's Great White is the mother of the previous two sharks._
I don’t actually understand how as a kid I thought that this movie’s ‘special’ effects were out of this world . . . But hey, if it did it’s job as a movie for the kids then I’ll respect it for that 👍
In 3-D they don't look too bad to be honest.
2:43 - Odd that the wound on the shark's snout is the one created by FitzRoyce when he activates his bang stick later in the movie...
This movie so well depicts how much better things must've been in 1983. People had more fun, took themselves less seriously, and just let loose unlike today when everyone is a drone.
I loved this movie when I was a kid. Probably haven’t seen it since 1985.

Coincidence. The pumping turning off it what forced it out.

I’d love to see the 3D version, had it on VHS as a kid but no 3D glasses 😞 Or would the 3D not have even worked on the telly anyway? Would it have had to be viewed at the cinema to be 3D? 🤔
In most scenes (including this one) they used a 3 foot scale model of the mother shark.
This film is very bad. I imagine most of the actors were aware how terrible it was but took their roles as they had bills to pay like everyone else. However this film is not nearly as awful as Jaws 4, that is one of the worst films EVER made!
