Good morning sir. My name is Andrei and I just found your clips. I had a bad experience with my Hobby Fendt 920 Prestige a couple of years ago. I was going down the hill when a driver brake check me,even thoe he was going slow from the beginning and to avoid him,had to turn hard left. Afther that, the caravan went in to a sway uncontrollably and crashed. The caravan was doing sway the day before that, but I thot it's just for the moment. The speed at the time when the sway started was about 75km/h and a second before the crash,I managed to slow to 50km/h. Will send you the rest of the story later.
very interesting. loved the recording while you were towing. I'd have white knuckles for sure. New friend here from Steve Turtle. look forward to following along on your channel. love the channel name.
Great video, such important information! We just did a video on camper safety also, so many times the important stuff gets overlooked and it can be dangerous!
One of those subjects that is too often overlooked by rvers. Not really something we’ve had to deal with...yet. Best to be informed before you need it. ;) D.
QuestIon. What was happening to my 5th wheel. I was going down a hill, windy n it seemed that I was not in control of my truck n the rig was pushing me down. I was in a panic n I pushed on my brakes, I was not going very fast but it was very windy, What occurred? Help me. I now want to give up on towing!
I suspect the trailer was gaining momentum and pushing your truck. It can get uncomfortable when that happens, in my experience. I’ll use some trailer brake to hold the trailer back and straighten things out. I also have a trailer brake video you might want to check out.
You hooked up that trailer like a pro! The sway is one of the reasons we eliminated a travel trailer when choosing an RV.
Haha, thanks! Agreed, going 5th wheel was my preference but unfortunately was a bit out of our price point at that time.
Fellow bluenoser here, great content sir. Enjoying the videos
Thanks, and welcome! Great to see other Nova Scotians on here.

Most important subject in RVing
A Revamped life So true
Great video! We tow a 21 foot TT, and we use a WD hitch AND sway bar just because we live in the desert and those winds will make a trip scary.
Thanks!
Another great and informative video. Thanks for sharing!
Dean Webster thanks Dean!

One of my goals of this channel was to share info to improve towing and RVing safety for everyone on the roads.
It's amazing how much under trucked or over trailered people pull making it dangerous all us who do it correctly .
Unfortunately you are correct. The risk may be low, but the consequences can be deadly.

Let's start at 0:58 🥴 The safety chain hooks are installed backwards, the opening should face the trailer.
Hmmm...I need to look into that!
In my opinion that kind of truck are not to do that my friend
