  • The terapanna alvati is a dish that is made during nopi in most temples. In this video, my grandmother shows you how to make it at home.
    INGREDIENTS:
    500 Grams Colocassia Leaves and Stem
    5 Tree Sorrel / 3 Ambado (Substitute)
    3 Green Chillies
    1 Inch Piece Ginger
    1 Small Piece Jaggery
    FOR MASALA:
    1/2 Coconut Freshly Grated
    2 Dried Red Chillies (Ramnad)
    FOR TEMPERING:
    2 Tablespoons Coconut Oil
    2 Teaspoons Mustard Seeds
    1 Sprig Curry Leaves

    Bapamma n actually raabcha khai, haav mumbai raabche, but migele aanu ani amma udupi che ashileet, munsiff court yedra raabcha, bapamma n saangile amma n mogaa n saangla vari jatta, all recipes super bapamma 👍

    During Gsb Ganesh chaturthi at Wadala we would never miss the nopi jevan because they would make terya Aluvati with kirlu(tender bamboo shoots)and god aambado😂so today alvati which Bapamma showed reminded me of temple alvati
