Just realized Rogue also has knee airbags
A lot more common than you realize
I didn’t know that
Cool
Funny how the rear dummy touches the airbag with his hand 😅
With so many compact suv on the road that don't provide adequate space for passengers and cargo I would like to see a rear end crash test to see if they are safe to buy.
Well, compact sedans and compact suvs do provide more than enough space for passengers and cargo, but in America, people are way above the average weight/size of the world, so it's more like, average people are too big for normal cars in America. And people in America somehow believe bigger cars means the car is safer.
@@igotanimac1 Bigger cars are safer for only them, but not for the person they hit, unfortunately... it's a chain reaction, people buy SUVs to be safe, the others get SUVs to be safe against other SUVs, and it repeats...
@@itsAlphaFox People should just buy what they actually need and look at the actual IIHS test ratings, SUVs are structurally less safe than the safest sedan considering they are way more likely to tip over during impact and many SUVs are actually less safe than some sedans even if they are bigger and heavier.
@@igotanimac1 I don't know of you saw the compilation of the mid-size sedans with the updated side-crash, but most of them did awful
@@itsAlphaFox Most of the popular best selling sedans did acceptable or good in the updated side test. Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla got acceptable. Mazda3 scored good. Hyundai Sonata scored acceptable. 2023 Toyota Camry scored good. And the 2023 Honda Accord will most likely score good.
I was impressed to see that it had a seatbelt pretensioner in the rear seat.
As the same SUV models?
which Rogue? Sport or regular? and which trim level? looks like the sport model which is not indicated
This is a base model Rogue. Not a Sport, which is smaller and almost always has luggage rails on top.
Wait you guys still have the moderate overlap? How would the 2014 chrystler town and country do?
It got a GOOD if I remember.
Just look at the website
@@legioner9 This is the updated crash test, cars will do worse
@@mcquangnguyen5562 True.
@@legioner9its poor, i have one
This made the Rogue front end look better.
Vast improvement
please do IIHS head to head crashes! Toyota Rav4 vs Honda CRV vs Subaru Forester vs Nissan Rogue 👍
But crash them at 50 mph each.
@@legioner9 frfr
IIHS, you should consider doing crash tests with dummies in child and baby seats.
Well they updated their moderate overlap to include back seat dummies
Damn, marginal for a brand new design.
It is only Marginal because of the rear passenger rating. These new test put a focus on rear passenger performance in a frontal crash.
Sadly, the rear side airbag couldn't help the Rogue get a better rating. Rip.
Nice! Joseon credits +1000 points
