I just got one recently and I am here for the adjustments
I got a second hand Aeron to use at home and found it underwhelming. I don’t get that floating feeling other people get when sitting on it.
I use a Mirra at the office - don’t know if it’s 1 or 2 - and I do feel the floating feeling on the Mirra. I also like how Mirra tilts back way further than Aeron and the backrest of the Mirra seems firmer than Aeron’s. The system to apply more or less pressure for lumbar support is better in Mirra, too.
I think I like Mirra better than Aeron. Maybe my second-hand Aeron is broken, since I don’t notice any difference with the first tilt adjustment.
My office’s Mirra doesn’t have the forward tilt or the arm adjustments other than height, though.
Just bought one after spending a few minutes at the outlet store pretty much every other day.
I will sit on my chair how I see fit, just tell me what each of the knobs do.

Can I get warranty coverage for a 2nd hand mirra 2, assuming it’s less than 12 years old?
I haven't heard anyone who has been able to do that. Herman Miller does verify proof of purchase's name
I bought this chair about 2 years ago new, and since then I have had the same issue twice when the seat would separate from the frame underneath, and the armrests became completely warped. All this from normal daily use, mind you. It’s covered under warranty, yes, but what is it worth when this same issue will continue to repeat itself until even after the warranty expires? If I could give the Mira 2 zero stars I would. Buyer beware!

@@hermanmiller Turns out it is semi-polished base. I have ordered silver alloy and it did not looked polished as in the video. I had to return and order again.
@@w84alek I think the lighting in the video makes it look more shiny than it actually is.
