This is exactly where I am in my life now. I just turned 60 this past April, I’m now retired after 40yrs from corporate. I’m in great shape and healthy. Currently I’m updating my wardrobe to more stylish items that I look great in that I would never wear to a business meeting. I really don’t need all of my nice conservative attire anymore , therefore after hearing this video I am returning to the store tomorrow to buy my first pair of knee high boots. 😊. I felt great and looked great in them, but kinda talked myself out of purchasing them today, because somewhere inside I felt maybe they weren’t for me. So this video has inspired & encouraged me on my new adventure of style. Therefore, I’m going to return back to the store, and purchase them. I’m hoping they’re still there.😊 #keepingitclassy
I'll be 60 in November. Doesnt bother me. Ive had some health issues so I cant walk like I use to. We at a street fair and my hubby carried a camp chair for me. He said next year hed rent a wheel chair so he could push me around. I told him h3ll NO! People say that was so sweet of him. NO it isn't. Just makes it easier to give up OR motivate me to move more! The next day I found your channel. Taking notes. Thank you!
I am 71 & love it, I will tell everyone!! So grateful & I am more into my own own then ever before. The problem I see is finding the right clothes. I don't want to look like I'm younger but want to be the best a this age.
This was a very inspirational video, thank you. I achieved almost all of my career goals and retired at the top of my game. I have poured my efforts since retiring into improving as a pianist which has been a lifelong passion and enjoying more time with friends and family. You are correct about the need to eat less and exercise more as we get older. I am so thankful I stayed active.
