I praise God I am 62. I love my life and the wisdom I've gained is a gift. My life consists of learning, working, and investing my time connecting with people everywhere, volunteering and fun/adventure -- my intention until my last breath. I'm happy to be a role model to younger women. I get compliments for my clothing style - shaped to my body, modern, white sneakers, red lipstick (I wear natural gray curly hair).

Who cares... ? bragging about tennis shoes. Those shoes are made for the gym, or a jog. Don't come to pick me up with tennis shoes on. Who raised you? Some back woods bottom breeding varment ? Time and a place for every thing. Curb your ignorance, and read a book on etiquette, the conventional requirements as to social behavior, and dress proprieties of conduct as established in any class or community or for any occasion. Maybe some of this You Tube ignorance will fade.

I live in South Florida where it’s very hot most of the time. Having said this most people here live in shorts and flip flops. So whenever I see anyone young or mature dressed really nicely I always make it a point to compliment them and I almost always get a sincere thank you for noticing. Plus it makes me smile. 😊

Unfortunately, people tend to put us in the age cage with their assumptions. I like Christine Northrup's response, "I'm an Ageless Goddess." I have more energy than many younger than me and it seems like women age better than men. LOVE the idea of a capsule wardrobe. I've been toying with it for years and it's time to IMPLEMENT. I strongly feel, the best times of our life have yet to occur. Every day is CHOOSEDAY! So true. Thank you.

When we were 20's/30s /40's age wasn't as difficult to say because it was our prime years. As I got older, I was more conscious of age and feeling/looking older too. Not comparing to the younger people or anything . It's a self realizing that looks have changed and feeling your age too. Certain clothes feels too young to wear. It's strange how the mind determines that.

I'm so blessed to be able to make or adjust my own close. I'm for sure going to be part of the "Dress to Connect". I'm 60 and have a reunion coming up 😁.

Broad shouldered and bright colors are my style. Also, can we stop shaming broad shouldered women???? Our arms look way better in our 50s than sloped shouldered women. I can wear no sleeved dresses and blouses and look damn amazing. No need to correct or hide broad shoulders. Flaunt them.

NO... It is none of your business how old I am. I don't need to go around announcing my age to every one who ask me that. I don't ask you , nor do I care. What kind of car do you drive? What part of town do you live on? What kind of education do you have? Did you go to college? None of this is your / my business? That info is given to those that I feel need that info, or I want to share. So ... the next time some one ask me my age, I give them the same response as to the last one that ask. " either, Older than you! " or " Younger than you " End of story!

Maybe this is her ministry. As a woman of deep faith, I *appreciate* her incorporating faith message into the aging process; it goes hand and glove.

Sorry but it is always rude to ask a woman her age. It is none of their business and is simply a tool of judgement on their part. Until recently I had a "friend" to whom on my birthday I revealed my age. She is in her late 30's. A look of absolute horror came across her face. She dropped me! I am stylish, classic dresser, active etc. I look good because I eat right, no smoking, no drinking, and stay out of the sun, etc. What ever happened to manners? What has it to do with a friendship if based on mutual interests. As one gets older you realize people no longer have boundaries. If age is just a number, why ask about it in the first place?
