Good point! I was lucky to find a jacket that fits me nicely with and without warm layers. Something about the shape doesn't make it look like a garbage bag when I am just wearing a t-shirt under

I also went to check my jacket and do the arm test and down jacket underneath hardshell. I think I’m gonna get an A+ on the trip 😎

I am a M-L but have put on belly fat so I ordered 66 North Goretex Infinium Jacket in XL and its too large so packed it to return it but I think I will keep it now after watching your video.

Yeah they're not skin suits. Being a bit baggy has definite advantages

Can you share the chest size for your usual cloth (size M) and the jacket (size XL). I usually wear L size (pit 21) but recently i bought myself a parka with 23 inch pit. Just wanna know your experience.

@@muhammadadib3387 my chest size is 101cm. I found the XL too roomy. I tried the L at the Store and its the perfect size and you can also get awaty with a layer underneath. I will suggest ordering both sizes and returning one or trying it out at the store.

Thank you for explaining this matter. I usually wear shirt with pit 21 inch. But recently I bought a parka with 23 inch pit. Still in doubt though because the parka still haven't arrived yet😅. But hopefully it will suit my size.

When more athletic/muscle build . I found Arc'teryx their design to fit well. No pinching in the armpits.
Haglofs and Millet are a hard no go with that build.
American brands are baggy enough so whatever there :D

You're definitely right that there's a massive difference between brands. I can't get French cuts like Millet or Forclaz to fit me, but Mountain Equipment and Arc'teryx fit my broader ribcage really nicely. For others it might be the other way around. Guess I'm not French enough 😄

I have a Haglöfs that is a little oversized in my regular size (M) for layering etc.
But then I got a Mountain Equipment Shakedry that’s a bit more form fitting like the first “guy” and it’s hard to layer under. Oh well :)
