    Both of the drives have been tailored slightly in order to achieve an even more organic tonal result. As you turn the contour fully clockwise, you will notice the overdrive section now features enhanced clarity with a sparkling top end. The Predrive section has additional sweet compression. This results in a pedal with a more 3-dimentional tonal feel and it is even more easy to slide between clean and overdriven guitar tones, which can easily be controlled by your guitar volume. In addition, you will notice more warm sustain to ease playing.
    Naturally, both drives sound excellent on their own, on both singlecoils and humbuckers. And when activated together they really make you flow. The Mad Professor Twimble pedal allows you to be the foundation of the tone. With the Twimble pedal, your picking attack, your guitar and the pickups you have chosen will retain their character, keeping your valuable original sonic footprint intact.

      well the Simble is no more made, so I had to order this one, my mane ped...luckily I have three Simbles, wonder why they stopped Simbles..., my use with Simble is somewhat enhance the dull Yamaha Pacifica 112 V neckpup, no boost, my latest find being Fender Enageger Buust, ....., just to tailor tone... by the way, I have 5 Yamaha Pacs and their tones are not dull, Im so sad if Mad Professor stopped making Simble overdrive..., luv, K : )

      as much as I dig mr MH, the Simble n Twimble really shine with Level full and sense down, contour down, andaccent at 2 o clock, sensitivity not completely off o

    This is the way to show the dynamics and warmth tones of this pedal. It is on my pedalboard and in combination with my Xotic SP compressor a killer pedal.

      Rob Smith do you run the compressor before or after the twimble ? I use a Keeley 4 knob compressor and am thinking of picking up one of these pedals...

    Appreciate your pedal presentation videos very much, I especially like that you always try to give an impression with different playing styles and guitar types. Only thing is you typically use highest end gear, which most potential buyers don't have. So maybe you could use some more like standard equipment sometimes?

    What amp are you using, how much reverb is on said amp? And sometimes there is delay. I feel like I can get a lot of the clean sounds with my American Elite Strat through my Hot Rod Deluxe. The playing and overall sound of this demo is out of site, but I'm kind missing exactly what this pedal can offer me.

    Mike, how does the twimble compare to the Tanabe Dumkudo? The Dumkudo is my favorite "D" pedal but the twimble would be cool with the boost if its tone is similar.

  • @secretreleases
    @secretreleases 7 лет назад +2

    I love the tone from the "Cool" setting of the pre-drive, but I unfortunately dont care for the rest, really.

    • @timscannell8482
      @timscannell8482 5 лет назад

      I have this right now, and I want so badly to love it, because the concept of a dual drive with a simple boost is really intoxicating. But I can't dial in what I am looking for. I end up using my JRockett Blue Note on and then the Cool boost into that! It's really nice. That blue note is really fantastic. Not a bad tone on hot or cool settings. But I would like little boost.
