BMW F30 BLOWER NOISE FIX / CABIN FILTER REPLACEMENT

  • If you notice a strange vibrating noise when you turn up the blower in your bmw Fx 1/2/3/4 series, It's likely that you have some leaf debris stuck in the fan assembly.
    I hope this clip helps you locate your blower motor and also help you replace the cabin filter.
    Tools required,
    T20 torx bit
    10mm socket

    Excellent and very helpful video. When replacing fan screw up each screw a bit at a time. If you fully screw up one, then another and finally the third, you might find the fan is not centred properly and does not work.

    Had the same issue. There was a leaf in the blower. Also had the issue of it not turning on after cleaning but it was because it wasn't aligned correctly. Redid it and worked again

    I just literally coming from the mechanic after hearing this strange sound and feeling the vibration when turn on the AC. l was told by the mechanic that l need a replacement blower motor. Well, l am going to follow your steps and clean it out before buying the motor.

    Just had this noise yesterday gotta give this a try tomorrow looks straight forward and presume my f36 2016 is the same

      @@Deej-85 all sorted only hardest part was the fan wouldn't come on after so had to give it a little wiggle etc as was catching on the plastic. Turns out mine was a 5 year old piece of parking ticket 😂😂😂

    I did the same step but when i rebuilt it the blower doesn't turn anymore any help can be nice.

      Just check your plug to their motor it's re connected secure?

    Lubricating the bearings on the outside doesn’t help fore anything…
