Man with a rookie HC and all new coaching staff im just excited every game to see whats new. Theyre fun and painful to watch all in the same game, same seahawks as usual😅 but i can only see them getting better and better each week and each year from here on out. Lions will be a big challenege despite the injuries. Lets see what the hawks are made of!
100% agree with all your points, spot on man! That’s how all Seahawk fans should be looking at this. I’m so excited to see what the coming years bring under Mike Macdonald! Go Hawks!
Yet PFF has KC ranked 14 lol... I think our coaches is what we needed as much as I love Pete. They just know how to put our takent to their potential. Impressed. And its just the beginning!!! GO HAWKS!!!
Other than the Oline they are in the right places. Coach is calling the right plays. We're a couple years ahead of schedule. If nothing else I'll take that. The coaches can coach.
The Seahawks have rebuilt their roster well. Considering how they moved on from Russell Wilson and then parting ways with HOF coach Pete Carol, this franchise has landed on their feet 👣 running. Starting with picking tackles to build a foundation they have made very prudent decisions thus far. Drafting well, they chose *JSN, *K-9, *Woolen, *😅Murphy, *Witherspoon, Hall and more to add to their foundational roster. However, it is Geno Smith that has been their saving grace. He has been a pleasant surprise for the Seahawks. Of course they still can rely on their solid vets in DK, Lockett, Fant and others. This team is built to win. They have a perfect mix of young talent and solid vets. It’s the coaching changes too that has made a huge difference so far. Mike McDonald has quickly made this a formidable defense while Ryan Grubb has fine tuned their already potent offense. They the 1st 3 games this team is top 5 on offense and defense. Staying healthy is key 🔑 to their success going forward. IF this team can reach its potential thru 8 games, their ceiling is very high. Defense will need to be consistent. Stopping the run, getting pressure on the QB and growth is what we are seeing week to week. Unexpected? Yes. Nobody knew that we had this type of talent on both sides of the ball. The defense can get better. That’s what is scary 😱 about this team. There are holes but not many. Their depth is decent. They have some weaknesses but not too much to handle. UF they can continue in the oath they are on, this is a legit top 5 defense the whole year. Maybe even better. Depends on how this team continues to grow. Offensively this team has no ceiling! The offensive line is their biggest concern. However, the addition of Conor Williams at center, Charles Cross and hopefully Abraham Lucas making a comeback, this line could end up being their biggest strength! Wow!🤯 smh! 🤦 at OG on the right we have two young bulls! We will continue to rotate them as they learn and perform for playing time. Left guard is just Ok. Add another nice piece at Guard and the Seahawks will take off! They just might anyway without adding a thing! In my opinion the Seahawks should add another cornerstone type player. Go with talent! Get the best player available. Whether it be a OG, OT, Edge, ILB, CB, TE or Safety. Get a player that will make an impact. Depth will come naturally through competition. We don’t go after depth players, we go for the stars! ⭐️ the more stars in the sky the better. This team is full of talented stars, there also young. Use this example to help you understand what I’m saying. Would we sign Devante Adam’s if possible? YES 👍 !!! Why? We are good at WR. Yes this is true. Making a strength more dominant will only increase Geno’s play. We could sign Adams and have an advantage throughout the regular season and playoffs. Would we trade Lockett? No. We play 4 WR’s and pass the ball! 🏈 this offense would take off to the moon!!! 70% passing maybe even 75% pass offense. With DK at WR1, Adams at WR2, JSN WR3(slot)and Lockett WR4(slot). We even use Shenault WR5. Getting him at least 5 touches per game. Using him laterally, on sweeps, screens etc… using his 🧨 explosiveness to gain YAC! What about BoBo? Yes! Goal line and on 3rd downs BoBo is great! Use his size in the Red Zone. Having SIX 6️⃣ receivers in this offense is not too much to fathom. Grub can call so many plays that teams will self destruct trying to defend. Remember we have Fant, K-9 and Charbonet too. Grub can Use them all!!! Forcing teams to play the pass Grub will exploit them with our explosive 🧨 RB’s. He will also use the TE’s to punish teams that overplay our receivers! K-9’s damage control is when we only give him 10 touches or less per game. Fant should see no less than 5 targets per game. He MUST make the most of these plays. DK and Adams have to be the focal point. Once we force teams to sell out in coverage, WE RUN. We run until they switch up their defense. Then we pass! When we want to confuse them, truck play to Shenault or we pound them out TE’s! Our unstoppable formation will be the 4 WR set. Geno in the shotgun. We can stay in this formation until they stop it! Run 10 pass plays in a row! Then do it again! Hell, Geno could easily throw 40 times per game. As long as we are moving the chains and controlling the TOP, we are dominating.
I agree with you except for maybe the Adams part. Our receivers are absolutely stacked atm, our line just hasn’t given opportunities for Geno to use his weapons properly.
what i can’t stand is the disrespect. yes, maybe we haven’t played the best teams and injuries play a factor. however, dealing with the same situation and not getting credit bc people don’t pay attention to us in the northwest by ourselves… let them keep hating and let us keep getting better and better
Think the Seahawks look good, but we’ve gone against a rookie, a backup and his backup and nearly lost to Jacoby Brissett. Let’s see how we look away to the Lions before we start elevating this team too high.
You didn’t even count the 3 points from the FG the Dolphins kicked directly after Genos pick in the 1st quarter of the Miami game. Our offense gave MIA the ball on our own 6 yard line, gave up 2 yards, and forced a FG. So that’s 13 of 43 points that are directly because of our offense (OL specifically). Our D has only given up 30 pts in 3 weeks
They were 9 and 8 last year... Geno was on a tear for a streak of games. Their defense had great young players but couldn't mesh. JSN added depth to the wr core. A year later how is this at all suprising to the "analysts" with all the talent they have on both sides of the ball with a coach that helps tremendously with their defensive cohesion? The same analaysts that hardley even mention the Seahawks at all in their weekly shows with their major market bias. We are expected to think they all thought real hard to analyze the same team that's always disregarded with the espn's of the world. To come up with a genuine prediction of the season? Always BS with the media.
I’ve always felt like PFF has been slightly biased against Seattle (most media anyway, east coast bias), so you know that this team is special if even PFF is saying it
Look who we've played for teams and QBs. We haven't beat any good teams but we've still taken care of business to get that ranking. Detroit is going to be a tough matchup. Their OL is best in the league while we have a lot of injuries on the DL. If we win this game, we deserve it

Seattle can fix one position and immediately improve, replace the punt returner, Williams or whatever his name is has done a horrific job. He has caused them to be backed up to their goal line because he refuses to fair catch the ball at least 6 times in just 3 games. It’s ridiculous and needs to go. Trade a backup qb with Miami for a punt returner and olineman. Boom we are moving in the right direction.
At the end of the day its about winning football games. You don't get style points in the NFL. Blowouts rarely happen in the NFL because the margins are slim.
I’m a diehard hawks fan but we really seem like frauds haha it’s nice we got out to a quick start but we got lucky getting 3 bad QBs to start the season. D looks pretty solid but offense isn’t there.
PFF is such a joke. Seattle gets almost no push in the running game, yet they are in the top ten. The Steelers being a highly ranked pass offense. Really? I guess when you don't throw it you can say they are bad. Again, the defensive numbers for Seattle are a joke. They played no one. They played no QB. If they are still ranked above 15 after week10 I'll be surprised. They are not bad. But there isn't 1 GM in the NFL that would take Seattle's defense over the Steelers, KC or even the Bills. PFF does number not actually NFL games. If I rush the QB one time and get a sack, I'm the number one passer rusher in the NFL by PFF.
