I like to think that for Kenjis social link the protagonist is being sarcastic every time he gives him the answer with most points but kenji is too oblivious to realize and takes it as real advice.
That scene where Mitsuru thought something happened to Junpei still cracks me up every time! 😂Also the plot thickens as we are introduced to some new characters in the Back-Alley!
If this is in Japan, 2nd years would probably be 16-17 years old since they first start high school around 15-16 years old. That being said, it's flat-out illegal to sleep with a student regardless of how old they are in Japan due to the inherent power imbalance present between teacher and student. This law also extends to workplace superiors as well I think.
Yeah, while P3 has some of the best Social Links in the series it also has some of the worst. They're really hit or miss. Story wise it's a _slooooow_ burn but when it gets going, _it gets going._
38:00 Speaking as a modern occultist, Mr. Edokawa's material in total is actually legit good introduction to modern occultism. It is not just invented by the writer of this game.
1:12:15 what they're saying is that all shadows have a mask with one of 12 specific designs, each of the full moon shadows had one of those masks, so since they know there are 12 types of masks they theorize there are 12 full moon shadows (except that instead of mentioning the masks they just talk about the fact they're similar, like for example: most magician type shadows use fire magic) they don't associate those with arcana because there are 22 major arcana so it wouldn't make sense for them to immediatly jump to arcana when there's only 12 types of shadows
@@joelsasmad Hermes saved Io from Hera's wrath after she slept with Zeus, the implication at least to me is that Junpei was one of Yukari's first real friends after she settled down considering the whole debacle with her childhood post 1999.
P3's social links that rank up by encouraging problematic behavior are actually pretty realistic. IRL, some people are really problemat and no one is always completely rational about things. Now, whether being as realistic as possible is the best for video games (or art or any medium) is a different discussion.
I feel like Strega end up being a bit of a letdown as the story goes on, but damn if their intro isn't great. And I kind of wish Atlus made another evil team of Persona users.
I still don’t know what confused him so much about them discovering there are 12 shadow types, each big shadow each month has been a different shadow type, so we’ll have to fight 8 more big shadows. It’s just some good info to know, I don’t get it.
After P3, id recommend playing persona 5 strikers. . It's a proper sequel to p5 and not just another spin off. It's actually so much better than the p5 royale content. Since you get to see the so mch needed bonding moments of the team and further expanded their backstories. . The gameplay is off putting at first, atleast for me since i dont play dynasty warriors type of games, but it eventually grown in me.
@@just-eeb huh, i guess they just left some stuff out? because suddenly ken is just there. unless that really is how hes randomly introduced and i just forgot
@@gloomsi They're basically just trying to give some early retroactive fleshing out of characters that may have felt underdeveloped or late in being added in the original version. The same is done on updated rereleases, as seen with Royal adding in a lot of extra scenes with Haru where you can listen in on her conversations early on to flesh her out ahead of time somewhat since she gets basically no screentime in the main story base game.
WOOO :} kinda jealous your pc can run this game at 60/120 fps. im getting fps drops in battles and in tar tar saunce :{ 30 fps > 7 fps whilst streaming lol love ya vids thou man

I love the Junpei recording. Mitsuru really said "Damn bitch you live like this."

Maiko's social links always hits hard and hurts so much. She needs all the hugs and love. The poor girl. 😭

huh? no, second years are still 16 in japan, where are you getting 17-18 from lol. highschool starts at 15. second year would be 16.
@@gloomsi My mistake, I must've misremembered from the last time I checked since it had been a while.

And now you know why you can't beat Persona 3 without crying. This will not be the last heartbreak.
Yeah this is not even the tip of the iceberg

Yeah I actually got into occult stuff after hearing what he had to say in the OG game
The Kitchen Saga continues.

And now we have entered the interesting part of P3 now expect huge plot twists in a frequent manner! This is exciting!
Finally: Revolver Jesus
Shipping Yukari and Junpei sounds pretty cursed for me.
They're the least compatible with each other out of all original trios of 3-5.
It feels like the little kid mentality where they bully the one they like.
They're like siblings, their personas align with Yukari's past to make that puzzle up.
@@MontySlython Could you explain that one to me? I don't remember what Io/Isis has to do with Hermes.

"much better than the p5 royale content" is crazy cuz maruki is actually like peak fiction
yeah 100% disagree. I played Strikers and its really good, but it absolutely isn't better than Royal content lmao.
He looks at the chat too much and reads spoilers.
is this the right part? feel like we skipped a lot of stuff since the last highlight?
The last highlight ended on in game date 6/13 and this one starts on 6/14.

Mitsuru is BAE.
She is my Makima. She praises me, and I melt.😂
I hope you talk to him soon
I don't want you to miss him on your first time around
