if i remember correctly, when you use jack brothers they actually do a two man comedy sketch (manzai) so you can interpret that their joke are so funny the enemy fell to the floor laughing, or it was so bad they knocked the enemy physically like in old comedy anime where people would fell to the floor when they see something stupid

Not sure if chat answered your question about Armageddon being in FES, but yes it was, and it was even more broken back then since you could spam it since it was a skill available to Helel or Satan. Only draw back was the SP cost which wasn't a problem if you had victory cry.
Damn... I mean in fairness for what I've heard fES was way harder so I guess a skill like that is fair 😂

@@ChocolateKieran also, FES had a really harsh exp curve, and the only good way to grind exp at the end was lock behind defeating the reaper. By the time you unlock armageddon there was nothing to do except defeating the superboss and last day bosses.
@@edsylan2275 honestly FES had a really generous exp curve overall (doubly so when you focus on wands), it just didn't give you much when you are way overleveled. Luckily you can just beat the reaper at like level 70 to get monad so it really shouldn't ever be an issue at any point if you want to complete the compendium/beat the ultimate boss

The bell thing technically wasn't wedding bells lmao. Its was more of a kickback to the popular Ernest Hemingway thing. "Ask not for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee". Basically signifying "that sound means you're about to die". Churches would toll their bell when someone had died(funeral). No matter when or where, eventually the bell will be tolling for us.
The Best friend Theurgy is reference to SMT 3 Nocturne in the game you can talk to Decarabia he will told you that he can't find his best friend Forneus.
I actually played some of Nocturne a while ago but must have forgotten, isn’t it pretty close to the start before Matador p? I could be bugging though

Yeah, Helel and Lucifer putting in the work, and yeah, it was in the original and Portable as well, but I believe it was an item in those games, and not easily to get.
Only in Portable was an Item, in Fes is just a normal fusion spell but cost 100% sp(50% with spell master) and you can spam with Victory Cry.

So, fun fact about the Fusion Spells/Theurgies, on Persona 3 Portable they made fusion spells into consumable items, you just had to grind the necessary items for long enough and trade the items with the lady who does the weapon fusions, this includes Armageddon so you could potentially use it 99 times in a row without any drawbacks besides the time spent getting them, not like anything can survive more than 1 besides a few bosses

One Cut fusion spell: Infinity. 1 turn of invulnerability. Almost a requirement for the ng+ secret boss back then.

There are quite a few fusion spells/thuergies that were cut from the original game, understandable because some of the cut ones weren't the best or might have effects that might be redudent with current theurgies, but it was still cool to see some related personas have interactions with each other, and would have been neat to see some of them them animated in reload
So, is there a way to watch the whole playthrough? I can't seem to find all the videos on twitch.

Armageddon was in original P3/FES but it used 50% of your SP so you couldn't spam it. There were actually a lot more fusion spells, too; 18 compared to the 7 in Reload, and Reload Armageddon's effect of reducing your HP to 1 was actually something a different fusion spell used. A lot of them were pretty hit or miss with utility but it was interesting to have ones like Scarlet Havoc since it was a physical move that costs SP, which to my knowledge there's only one other attack like that in the series and it's one of the fusion spells that didn't make it into Reload. I'd recommend watching a video of all of them just to see how they compare to the Reload versions and to see the ones that didn't return. Personally I just wish they kept in the unique evoker animation from when you used fusion spells in the original and FES
Nope, in original/fes it uses 100% sp
I found that out sometime after posting this; the footage I saw of it was with the protagonist at level 99, which seems to make it only cost 50% SP. That or there's a skill that halves SP cost and it was on the persona they used; I'm admittedly not the most knowledgeable on P3

Took me forever too get Armageddon (when I got it I did kill the Reper) So now I just gotta wait about 1 year before I do New Game+ for one of the best games I have ever played (and to get the last steam achivements)

Armageddon Theurgy is basically Exodia the Forbidden One.
I would love to see Kieran react to the poundmates or Kiwami moves in Yakuza 7 or Infinite Wealth, I think he'll find them hilarious.
Also, seeing some love for Infinite Wealth is nice since that game and P3R are probably the best turn-based RPG games coming out this year.
back in the day, youd get victory cry on soooo many pesonas that helel and satan had it too. so you could just spam it every battle, and youd get all your sp and hp back.

Armageddon is the ultimate cheat skill lmao. It's also a skill you need to beat Elizabeth in fes and portable. I don't know how Liz works in reload though. I didn't bother to beat her this time since I already did with fes and portable.
It's also why P3 Simps are very confident to say that Makoto is the strongest protag between 3 4 & 5 because he has the fusion spells and Armageddon. Also universe arcana. And in the old games, he can use all of the weapons.
Elizabeth has the same bullshit mechanics in P3reload with 9999 Megidolaon
To be fair, universe arcana Is Just the world arcana (they are both Major arcana XXI), but in a different set of tarots than the world, same as other like the Aeon (aigis) or the jester (Adachi at one point). I guess that while the fools all start their journey basically the same, while the end point Is the same (arcana XXI), what they reach is different. This doesn't necessarily mean that the universe>the world, but more probably that the nature of their power Is different depending on the bonds and personality of the user. I wonder what the jester's arcana XXI would have looked like. (Also interesting to note that Joker has not reached the end yet, as Satanael is of the Fool arcana. Atlus wants to milk p5 more?)
