    I love how easy you make it look! Definitely going to give it a try this week. Btw, I've watched at least 5 other tutorials on how to make bimbimbap and this was the one that totally caught my eye and made my mouth water. 👌🏽☺️

    Thank you so much, today I made the kimchee hot pot with chicken and it was so good I'm so impressed the ingredients were just right and the soup was better than the restaurant I go to. 😁

    I love your videos! But.....I'd also love it if you can teach us how to cook these dishes without cooking each individual ingredient separately. That would make your videos so much more attractive to try out because it saves so much more time! Keep up the great work!

    I prefer mine with the raw beef and the egg yolk on top. But I could see this as being a good way to get people to try this dish!

      @MyKoreanKitchen  8 лет назад

      +Dantakurasaki I prefer serving Bibimbap with cooked food. :) This is just one of many variations.

      +My Korean Kitchen don't you need to cook the gochujang / mixed sauce?

    • @MyKoreanKitchen

      Kazuya Richie No, you don't need to cook the sauce.

    Is it in fact one of those dishes that a little tweaking is allowed to suit personal tastes or requirements without losing the essence of what it is ? I can't eat mushrooms of any variety, so can I get away without having those and still have an authentic experience ? Equally is there a substitute you would recommend instead of mushrooms for people like myself. Ty in advance.

      @MyKoreanKitchen  9 лет назад +3

      +James O'Halloran Yes, Bibimbap can be altered to suit individual's needs/preference. Instead of mushrooms, you could add other mild vegetables. (e.g. mykoreankitchen.com/2015/08/01/sauteed-korean-cucumber-side-dish/). If you prefer spicy kinds these two are also good alternatives too. (mykoreankitchen.com/2015/04/04/korean-spicy-cucumber-salad/ and mykoreankitchen.com/2006/12/12/thinly-sliced-radish-kimchi-mu-saengchae-in-korean/) Hope you give like it!

    Hi! What type of rice is ideal for this dish? Great video & easy to follow instructions. :-)

    • @MyKoreanKitchen
      @MyKoreanKitchen  8 лет назад +1

      +Eleanor Trinidad Typical Korean rice is short grain rice. That would be the best. Thanks! :)

    hi eonni. maybe you can lessen the salt you put on? and the oil? or maybe use butter anyways, it is an authentic recipe? I mean is this really how you make bibimbap in korea? because I just had one this afternoon from supermarket and I can say its not that good.

    • @MyKoreanKitchen
      @MyKoreanKitchen  8 лет назад +1

      +Claire Bautista Yes, this is how typical Bibimbap is made. Though some people/restaurants might use "raw egg" instead of "cooked egg". I don't think butter would go well in here.

    Can i use ground pork instead of beef? Will it still taste the same? :)

    • @MyKoreanKitchen
      @MyKoreanKitchen  8 лет назад +1

      +Chindy02 Yes, you can use ground pork instead. Taste might not be the same as they are different meat but it should be pretty close. ;)

    Red pepper paste becomes the problem for me since it has gluten. Any options

      And how about the seasoned seaweed. Gluten free?
