Got this gun off palmetto state the other day saw a few things even without firing it that i didnt necessarily like. Looked like some marred metal up in the mag well just like you mentioned here. and also just like you had to use a hammer and tap the aft pin out to take the gun apart... in my mind you shouldnt have to bring a hammer to the range to take your gun apart lol I have yet to fire the gun but i will definitely be looking it over and cleaning it prior to doing so. also when you first took your gun out of the box did you notice metal shavings all over the place?. its like the box was near the lathe when the gun was being made lol
Hey! I did notice a few really tiny metal specs, but not enough to alarm me, but now I might go back and check the box again. I did notice some marred up metal spots and a few burrs here and there. I hope you don't have as much trouble as I did, which really made me quite mad. However, I will say that Panzer made it right in the end, so I'm happy now.. Still, it should be perfect out of the box the first time...
@@jeepmandan5334 just took apart the gun and saw identical problems that you had on your gun. trigger fires on slow release/bent rod/jagged metal in mag well. when you contacted panzer what did they tell you? what was the name of the place you sent your gun to? i would like to send mine to the same place.
@@IntoTheNothing1 I contacted Panzer at Panzerservice@gmail.com, and the rep's name was Marc. Also, the Panzer phone number is 724-590-1577. They had me send it to: Dans Sporting Goods ATTN:PANZER ARMS SERVICE #84 state route 380 W Apollo pa 15613 The only two negatives (minor) about the process were 1) that I had to pay my own shipping there which wasn't as much as I thought (and no need for FFL) and I used UPS, and 2) Dan's Sporting Goods didn't tell me what all they did to fix the issues, which was pretty easy to figure out anyway. It went there and back in less than a week, which was great.
Hello, I recently bought the Gen4 model which has the polymer bottom and upper. It does not separate the bottom and upper as the gen 3. Have you been able to find a video that instructs how to separate the bottom from the lower. Panzer has not been much help. If you found a way, will you please help me?
@@Ju-Ju3hey bro I just order mine, how is it??? Ok so excited for my G4, I’m really hopping I don’t have reliability issues as long as I use the correct shells
@Cesar_Smiles as long as u shoot 1300fps or higher ur good. I only experienced 2 malfunctions the first time shooting but it was the 10 rd mags. The 5 rd mags were flawless. I recommend cleaning factory oil and locking ur bolt back for a couple days ar a time for about a week or 2. Constantly Play with action when ur bored to smooth things out. (DO ALL THIS WITH EMPTY MAGS!!) I LOVE MY GEN 4 NO PROBLEMS
It sounds like you just got a lemon. I have one of these and I have never had an issue with it. And yes, I agree with you about the warranty, but as far as everything else goes, mine was sent to me with everything tight and everything function properly, even when I took it apart and looked at it, Mine was just one of those that I didn’t have any issues with. And I’ve taken this shotgun duck hunting and it has done just fine for me. Yes, you have to adjust the gas chamber just like you have to do that with every other semi auto shotgun. I have nine semi auto shotgun‘s, and I adjust the gas chamber depending on the round that I’m using. You Just got a lemon.
Yeah, I regret buying mine! I'm going to sell it! I can't get mine to feed continuously! Always jamming! I can't depend on it! It's a lemon! Jokes on me! Going with a pump action shotgun next!
It's a $500.00 shot gun dude with a free binary trigger enjoy it. I love mine
What are you running through it?
Great informational video, really appreciate it. I would love to see you do a vid like this on the VR-80 or VR-82 and get your thoughts on it
Thanks for this video you made. I will be going with the Charles Daly AR12
Wish i saw this video before I bought it.
I have never used a gun manufacturers warranty ever....I learned to Smith weapons myself. To even fix little hiccups like this.
They might installed echo trigger by mistake...
Yikes I am waiting on mine to arrive ~ wish I had seen this before I purchased it. Does anybody know if these issues have been sorted out yet?

One of the baddest Shotguns out there s the Semi-auto Genesis 12 but very expensive and its a beast at around $2,800
Not practical
The compartment in handle holds extra round if need be. Blaire White shows how it is used on her crazy custom gun collection.
You've convinced me to never buy anything from Panzer Arms.
free binairy triggers? im in
I thought they were on gen4 currently?

Is it too heavy for a female?
I don't think it would be too heavy for a female. I believe it's just over 9 pounds or so.
