I’ve been watching these guys since 2012… I remember sitting in class when I was a senior in high school and watching Eric and Barry doing the latest gun gripe in moss pawn & gun… always loved seeing Chad too! You guys have come such a long way since then, times sure does fly! Barry would be proud!

Benelli m3 is probably my favorite shotgun that I haven't aquirred yet.
Brit that lives in the midwest here.. I think my Top 5 would be as follows
1. Winchester Model 61 (even better if you get it threaded and suppress it). Using .22 quiets and slam firing it is crazy fun.
2. Ruger 22/45 Lite with the threaded barrel
3. Arisaka Type 99 that has a USN sailors name carved inside the upper hand guard
4. M1 Carbine
5. J.C. Higgins Model 20 shotgun in 12 gauge. Quality is insane and the price of them is so low. They slam fire too which is a plus. They have a mag cutoff switch as a safety which is handy for keeping it loaded as a bed side gun

My Dad broke in all of his four sons on a Remington Model 510 single shot which he could shot incredibly well. I wish I had included it on my list.
I have my grandfathers Remington 510 it is the most accurate 22 I own hands down.

Fun fact, I took it out to the range with my buddy. He bet me I couldn't hit the 4 inch plate with irons at 100 yards. First shot, Ding, second, ding, and so on. It was my dad's first gun, when he got it his dad took it to the gun smith because the trigger was too light. Whatever the twist rate is in there are etc, they nailed it.
It's a fun prarie dog rifle for sure.

I love a 10/22. Not a powerful battle rifle but ammo is fairly cheap, good to 100 yds consistently and you drop a couple on target the fight goes out quickly.
Agreed, had on tricked out, sold it. Now I have a 1978 with the BR trigger, simply because the old one had been shot to death. Oddly, the barrel rifling is still good, thank you Hoppes. Original wood stock, other than some pink fingernail polish on the front sight unmodified. Also, 2 brand new 10-22's in the Artic white polymer stock that were on clearance, one is earmarked for the grand son.
Right on, but brother, that rifle is good WELL past 100 yds. If you put a good 1-8 LPVO with a mil-dot reticle, you would be pinging steel at 300 with match ammo. I was picking golf balls off at 100 yds, and clay bird chunks thrown out on the berm at 200.
I just built a new one, and I’m excited to see what it can do.
I have a CMMG Mutant 10.5” and I use it for a nighttime thermal hog gun because of the reliability. It is a bit heavy but the thermals have gotten smaller and I love the fact it never fails, the ammo is cheaper and I run mine suppressed.

Intermediate cartridge means shot placement is more important.
No good way to put a scope on either of them
Accuracy is gun dependent, individual guns can be great or awful
That’s not to say that they cannot be used for hunting but why would anybody choose them when other choices are cheaper, better suited, and more widely available

I've got an InrangeTV WWSD clone with Faxon's 14.5" integral barrel with the PA SLx 1x and their 6x magnifier. Its hard to enjoy a lot of the other rifles I have with how capable and versatile that build is, especially given the lightweight and handy nature of it.
My Zenitco'd AK-105 with the SLx 3x is a close second, but ammo availability makes it hard. That gun is running a pinned+welded strela 4 piece and is practically hearing safe, but I've had enough hard primer strikes with the current 1k batch of Wolf that I don't trust it anymore. Maybe when AAC starts up 5.45x39mm I'll pick up a big case of it and test it out.

It's a form of shadow banning. This seems to happen with subscribers of gun or conservative channels.
My all numbers matching Schmidt Rubin with the factory 12 round mag, my remington 783 223, my remington 783 22lr in an arch angel stock, glock 43x, ruger mini 14.
I understand they gotta make money. But the Bergera HMR B14 is known to strip bolt shrouds and extractor claws braking in half as well. Bergara did replace my parts no questions asked. But the parts they set out looked exactly the same as what failed in the first place. We will see how well they continue to function.

One of my favorites might seem odd-- the Heritage Rough Rider. It's cheap to buy and cheap to shoot, and it's great for teaching new shooters. Mechanically operating a single-action revolver makes me slow down and enjoy the experience more. On the other hand, I also love my CZ Shadow 2 Orange. Yeah it's big & heavy, but that makes it a soft shooter, and it fits my hand incredibly well. Another is my Remington 11-87. There's nothing particularly special about it, I've just had it for a long time and it fills a lot of roles-- recreation, hunting, and home defense. It comes with me on most outings.

Off the top of my head my favorites are: The M21 with a redfield ART scope that I used in the army. My first center fire rifle an M1917 eddystone Enfield. The M1 garand. The Sharpe's 45/70 buffalo rifle. Just about any lever rifle but especially the Rossi 92 carbine in 44 mag with a polished smooth action.
M96 1906 shoots amazing for old technology 1951 Russian SKS-masterpiece arms Sterling 16 inch semi automatic fun range toy 32 round 9mm plinker once you get used to the magazine sticking out of the side of the gun.
I have 2 B14s.....6.5 and .300 win mag. 2 of my all time favorite rifles
Don't fib you do pull them out and fondle the guns once in a while (we all do it) . I call it monthly PMCS. A once over, a little oily rag across them and check the scope... good to go til I put my hands on them next month, go to the range, or something has to get shot.
Glad to see that your SCAR 17 stayed in your lineup! I've had mine for 8-1/2 years now and I love it. I’ve owned an AR10 and an M1A. Both were cool rifles, but neither was as satisfying to own as the SCAR has been for me. I own a number of rifles, shotguns, and pistols, and I generally avoid the "what if you could only have one gun" discussions because I simply refuse to accept that as realistic. But if I want to ignore pistols for the moment, I can fairly easily pick out my 5 favorite rifles: (1) the SCAR 17; (2) my 20" A4 clone; (3) my Henry Octagon Frontier .22; (4) my Ruger Gunsite Scout; and (5) my Marlin 336BL. Ask me again next year, and the A4 might lose out to my 11.5" SBR, the Scout rifle might lose out to a R700 precision rifle I have, and the Marlin might lose out to an AK. But the SCAR will always be in the lineup.
There are others, but those would be my first choices. For *MOST* of my firearms purchases/builds, I’ve always had "general purpose" as my guiding principle. I’ve never bought a gun whose purpose was so focused that it couldn’t be used with practicality for anything else. The SCAR is exactly that. It’s useful for hunting anything you’d want to shoot with a .308. It’s accurate enough to shoot sub-MOA with 168 gr BTHP match out to 600 yards (in my hands, maybe further in someone else's). It’s not too heavy to carry in the field. Downside: it IS expensive, and so are the parts and mags. But I already own mine so…
I *THINK* that if I had to limit things further down to 1 centerfire rifle, one rimfire rifle, one shotgun, and one pistol, that I’d still keep the SCAR as my primary "high-powered" rifle.
And we haven’t really talked about shotguns or handguns yet…
Scars are heavy. In Afghanistan, the sf guys would try to trade guns with younger privates. Because they thought scars were cool. But, the sf guys knew they were too heavy to carry up multiple mountain sides of Afghanistan.
I have an easily favorite gun and it is not what most people would choose. I have many other guns that I have bought for myself and some for my children. My favorite gun is a single shot 45-70 Government Harrington & Richards Buffalo Classic. I also have a 38-55 barrel for the same gun but ammo is so scarce I barely use it. This gun doesn't spray out $50 worth of bullets in a second, but it is very satisfying to bong a 5 gallon propane tank at 800 yards away. I can barely see the tank, but it bongs out loud and clear. It is always a good day when I take it to the range.
the norwegian kammerladder is Really an interesting muzzleloader. I think the Maxim 50 was a cool rifle I wanted, but the B&T OSWG looks really cool. I really want to know more about the RMR Dual illuminated and the 5.5x and 6x acogs.

When we're talking about "Top _ guns" I think it's a bit unfair to just say "5 guns" for someone who has THOUSANDS, so let's say 5 long guns, and however many smaller guns (small AOWs, PDWs, SMGs, SBSs, revolvers or pistols) you're able to have on your person holstered or slung at the same time comfortably.
If I wanted I could carry 2 ankle guns, 3 waist guns, and a pistol or PDW hanging from my shoulders for example.
If you guys are up for a "Top 5 Plus" video I'd be very interested in that.

What's the barrel life of the 762.x39, 7.62 x 51 and 6.5 Creedmoor, I've seen video saying they both have a short barrel life.... I'm hoping to get a Barrett during the Christmas holiday.

1) CZ 527 in 7.62x39 Light, handy, and surprisingly accurate within 200 yds.
2) Tikka T3x Arctic in .308 Not light but rugged and reliable - a real do-all gun as long as you can pack it.
3) Savage 42 in .22 over .410 Just about the most versatile small game package you can bring to the woods - I’d love to have the 24 but the 42 gets the job done for a lot less $ and I can throw it in a pack.
4) PTR 9. Cause the MP5 is so darn fun to shoot!
5) LMT 16” AR - cause it’s my go to AR and you’re right, you do need an AR on the list!
Wild Card) Nordic components .22 AR upper. Incredible reliability and accuracy with a dedicated.22 upper. I could say it’s to train indoors while using normal AR trigger / lower, but it’s really just that it’s a blast to shoot.
Rem 700 Sendero in 7MM RM (before long range shooting was popular, my "beanfield rifle" and my Rem 700 custom build in .308 Win
S&W MP 10 in .308 (SHTF rifle)

I don't shoot shotguns much even though I have some (turkey hunt with a bow) shoot 22s with the grand kids (my fav is an old Rem Nylon 66 that I bought when I was a kid from mowing lawns)
An underrated gun that doesn't get a lot of love is the Browning Buckmark. Better out of box trigger than a Ruger MKIV and more reliable.
My buckmark camper has the nicest trigger out of every damn gun I own. Hands down the best 22 pistol.

Have the bergara ridge, dark stock heavier barrel, in 270 win. With a 145eldx at 3000 fps is insane..trajectory, energy,..it excells EVERYWHERE

I would have to say my mark 12 . My second favorite My ruger r p r in 338 lapua Just the sheer power of something big like that Along with the distance . But I have put down over twelve deer And I do not know how many coyotes with my mark 12. Another great show guys keep up the good work

I like the SCARS somewhat..i like the ammo it shoots, i can afford one tho i dont know about putting that much money into 1 gun..But, i dont like Bull Pup guns..So, i will probably never get one..I like my Bolt Action, & Semi Auto 30-06s..They will get any chore done for me 😊👍
I love the 10/22 but the Henry 24" threaded frontier is my new favorite .22. It is just stupid quiet suppressed and a tack driver. Now pair that with a H&R 999 Sportsman and you have a very fun day at the range.

Been behind a lot of 50's for 3 decades but NEVER enjoyed them or realized what they would do until joining the fifty caliber shooters association. The m82 and 107s are fun but were never meant to be more than a couple Moa in accuracy. It's surprising how long that round can reach out and still be VERY competitive in todays world when done correctly in a built rifle. Glad you included a 50!
Eric's love for big bore is screaming for a 4 bore rifle. GA isn't that far from Kentucky!!

1874 Sharps Long Range "Quigley" - cause who wouldn't want to larp some tom selleck?
S&W performance center 3.5" 460 mag - fireballs, recoil, and ridiculous. So fun.
CZ455 Tactical Target Trainer .22LR - laser beam, I shoot it all the time at 200 & 300 yards.
Springfield Prodigy 5" w/ bunch o' EGW & Atlas parts installed - So slick & and so fast to shoot accurately. Mine has worked flawlessly since purchase.
Sig556 Swat Patrol w/ UH1 & Vortex 3x magnifier - eats anything, smooth recoil, and just fun to shoot. My "SHTF" rifle.
Wildcard : Steyr Aug w/ Sig MSR LVPO & 20/20 sear and Steyr red springs - Larpin' Die Hard, comes apart so cool like, and so short and maneuverable. More accurate than the interwebz claims.

I think you should revisit the Yugo M48
My all time favorite is the stock Marlin 60 w/4x20. I grew up with a Winchester 67. The Marlin was my first autoloader. The model 60 is perfection in my eyes. 2nd is Mossberg 500 or Rem 870 in any configuration from SBS to 28" field. They are brothers from different mothers and take 2nd place. 3rd place is Savage 12fv .223 Rem. Heavy, but 0.3 MOA is no contest. 4th place is the AR-15/M4 any and all configurations. 5th is pistol caliber CMMG Banshee. I prefer guns with low end prices that serve many roles, are easy to use, and out preform expensive guns.
Nice AR's can be had for reasonable prices. The HK's I find are twice the price of CMMG.
My favorite is a .22 LR Steyr Zephyr II. In fact any of the Zephyr II's with their offset stock is wonderful. Mine was picked out for me by their man who has sold me several Steyr's. They are so accurate and the Zephyr II is at least twice as accurate as the original Zephyr. Too bad Steyr discontinued their Zephyr II rimfire line. Nothing beats a good bolt gun.

The HK USPc 9 with their Lem trigger is definitely up there (or any LEM gun really). The LEM trigger is the best carry trigger choice period IMO and the rest of the industry needs to get in on it.

Guys you should build a nice semi auto or bolt gun in 17. hmr since it's cheaper than any other caliber besides 9mm and 22lr the kids can shoot it and it's such an impressive round trajectory and 2500 MV pluss fps. Check em out
My top 5 so far are 1: Browning auto 5, it's a damn near indestructible shotgun, and it's run everything I've ever put through it with no issues. 2: Savage 110 apex storm in 25-06. Taken a couple deer with it so far and it's like they were struck by lightning. Light rifle, light recoil, again, never had a failure of any kind in it, and it takes deer like nothing. 3: lee enfield no4 mk1 because you gotta have a milsurp and why not go with the bolt action with the big mag 🤣 number 4 and 5 are ones I don't have yet. Remington 660 in .350 rem mag and ruger number 1 in 45-70. Both cartridges are wicked, both guns are amazing looking and the rugers falling block is such a strong action
