doesnt matter if you like pro gunners, it is INSANELY hard for people to move there legally, unless you marry an american. Getting an immigrant work visa takes something like a bachelors at least and some work experience, or an investors visa, which costs 500 000USD
Alexander TheOriginalGreat. Just come across the southern border. The Democrats are currently importing a new voter base since the public is realizing how garbage their policies are. They will make sure you are allowed entry.
I once found a High Point 9mm for $65 at a gun show and I know high point normally a joke kinda gun but I couldn't pass it up for that cheap and I ended up selling it for $200 about a year later so win win.
monski 123 Some go for $300+ I believe. They’re considered shitty because they’re cheap, heavy, and ugly. But they’re surprisingly reliable and great at eating up all the shitty ammo you put through them.
@@WafflesNPotholes I kinda like them lol, there's not much I can do aside from limp wristing mine to make it malfunction and it eats everything I've fed it. It's certainly ugly as sin but it gets the job done...
Best deal i have ever got was theres an old guy with an ww2 collection with over 5000 guns from all countries. He sold me a mint condition luger p08 if i mowed his lawn and cleaned out his shed. Thats the best deal ever! He also gave me a couple hundred rounds of ammunition because i repaired his bicycle.
Bro that’s a 10 thousand dollar weapon ! Wtf am I looking at the wrong weapon ? Nevertheless what a good trade I’d have mowed the guys lawn on demand sleet or snow sun or rain for that kinda money for life haha
I've gone into pawn shops and regular gun stores that have clerks who should be out shoveling dog crap off the grass and others that have some really knowledgeable individuals working there who will take the time to work with a customer the sell their product. There was a place in Sedalia MO that had a great collection of guns on the wall but the clerk was as useless as an out of date politician. I walked around looking at the stuff on the walls and in the cabinets and shelves. Finally I saw one weapon I was interested in and after waiting about 20 mnutes he finally put down the phone with his GF and came over. I saw an old single shot Remington .22 that was in good condition. Showed signs of usage but not abuse, it was clean and tight with no rattle. They wanted $100. at the time and I walked out with it for $25 after dickering with him back and forth. I was out at the firing range a couple of months later and playing with my new toy. An older gentleman came up and was shooting and we got to talking. He said he had one just like mine but had to sell it a few months back when he moved and was getting rid of some older weapons. We got to chatting and he had sold it along with some others to the same pawn shop and needed the money to pay some bills and move. Turned out it was the same weapon that he had sold. It was one his father had given him when he was a young man back around 1930 or so. He said he really missed his old rabbit gun. Before We parted I sold it back to him for what I paid for it. He was extremely happy to have it back and I must admit I was happy although I loved that weapon it was a fun shooter and accurate as hell.
Which pawn shop? I don't pass through Sedalia very often, but that sounds like the kind of place that's worth a stop. $25 for any shooter is a steal, let alone an old gallery gun.
The best you can find in NJ pawn shops are some used reloading supplies. The only reason I stay here is for the good schools for my kids. Once they're grown, I'm outta here!
I worked for three Greek brothers in Atlanta that had multiple pawn shops. Our general rule was to never loan or pay more than 25% of what we thought we could sell the item for. Remember this, and negotiate.
i took a gamble when looking for a 22lr rifle.... i went in to a local one and they had a savage stevens mod 300 for 120. The stock is cracked (made of plastic) but it wasnt anything that hindered the guns performance and they also had a glenfield 75c for 50 bucks because the magtube was missing and the mag stube slide was messed up but i fixed it :) i say it was pretty sweet deal.
Pawn shops mark and you haggle or dicker with them. Say they have a gun they paid 75.00 for, they mark it 190, Trust me if you offer 120-150 they will sell. I use to work for one PT. Especially if it sits.
the best deal I ever got besides free guns was a P38 a guy was selling and I jokingly told him I give him a hundred bucks he said make it 120 and we have a deal. no import mark matching Mauser upper w Walther frame
Brasstard 7.62 So you like taking advantage of the ignorance of your fellow man? Whatever floats your boat, but I couldn't do that to a guy. Karma is real.
smartacus88 he knew it was a good deal and was selling all the guns his dad had left him that had been in closet for decades he just wanted them to go to people who would enjoy them. also got a sporterized arisaka from him for 150$. he sold all the long guns for 150 even a Winchester 70 that my friend got. he wasn't mad about it at all and knew it was worth more. I'm just glad I got dibs on it before my friends did
another time I got a really good deal on a P38 was from a black gangbanger that I knew he sold it to me for $200. I thought it was funny at the time him carrying a Nazi gun.
It's not your moral obligation to inform people who are willfully ignorant. We have had the internet for a long time, and it takes 5 minutes to find basic info on what makes a gun rare.
Walked into a backwoods pawn shop & waited for my eyes to adjust to the gloom. The first gun in saw was a Winchester 93. It had seen better days but pristine 93s don't exist. The owner said it was a 97. Not wanting to argue, I waited for him to tell me about all the flaws. I eventually had to stop him before he threw it in the trash. Walked out with a so so 93 for 60 bucks. I was inconsolable.
My best pawn shop score was in my native Montana when I was in high school. It was an 1863 Remington Zouave .58 caliber contract rifle. It was NRA good condition and for some reason I knew I should buy it. I didn't even know what it was but the .58 bore was clean and in perfect shape so I haggled the owner down to 50.00. That was in 1970 I still have it an it's worth around 1500.00 or so.
The problem I have in Houston is that the pawn shops all seem to be a little too proud about their merchandise. I saw a Remington 870 express and a few Moss 500 for almost twice what'd you'd buy them brand new....smh
vidacrazy It's the same in San Antonio. You CANT buy anything from a pawn shop unless you don't care about money and getting fucked in the ass... plus they only ever have junk shit you would t look twice at. This is because of the gun shows. Anything worth a shit is taken there and sold for more than it's worth. The only deals are from individuals while your sitting BEHIND the table, but those days are long behind us. 🙄🔫
Since you are in Texas, about thirty years ago I was in a shop looking for stereo speakers and saw a 20 ga. 870 hanging on the wall behind the counter. I asked to look at it and on closer inspection it was a 1982 DU gun with gold inlay. Round Rock, TX was where it was and I bought it for $250 as I recall. Still have it too.
I found a 1943 production type 99 Arisaka barreled action with an intact chrysanthemum. Unfortunately it was sporterized, and rechambered in 30-06. But i picked it up for twenty bucks, and pieced the rest of it back together from eBay, all in I've invested about $160 in it.
In the 1960's those Vetterli Rifles were available in 12 case lots for less than $25 a case! Of course then they sold retail about $15 to $25 each!Walter Craig in Alabama sold Pim Fire revolverd for $7 each!
I have a pawn shop that I have peaked in a couple times, and it is owned by some grumpy old men who over price EVERYTHING (i.e. glock 43 for 600 when there is a giant gun store 3 miles away selling it for 480$). Both times they tried to sell me on some crap made 1911 priced at 1000+ and other ridiculous offers that I almost took offense to having been offered it.
Norinco NDM 86 dragunov limited edition in velvet lines case with all the goodies included. $500 about 4 years ago. Pawn shop thought it was just a standard ak with a long barrel
I have a knack for finding the ugliest gun on the wall and buying it. I actually just picked up an H&R Topper 12 GA single shot shotgun at a pawn shop for $80 out the door only because some idiot spray painted it camouflage. An hour later I had it cleaned good as new. I'm going to refinish the stock eventually but it functions just fine the bore was clean.
Me too. I've developed quite the collection of oddball crap that no one's heard of. I think one of my guns is literally one of a kind. I've never seen or heard of another one just like it. A couple weeks ago, one of my friends told me, "I've never heard of half the guns you own." I just smiled and said, "that's okay. Neither has my wife."
Seriously though. I knows that's what would happen to me. I'd be homeless living in my car paying for a storage space for my guns. People would think I was a drug addict but I'm just a gun addict.
I hope you guys realize how truly lucky you both are to have a best friend that is equally interested in the same hobby. That right there is one of the most valuable things you can have in life.
best pawn shop deal, i got an "italian mouser" (yes, thats how they spelled it) m38 carcano in "dropped in the sand once" condition for $65. they had it marked $100 when i asked them if i could disassemble the bolt to check out the internals. it was covered with thick, dried oil and would hardly move. long story short, couldnt get the cocking piece nut off so i talked them down to 65.
I absolutely loved this episode. I can't wait to see more videos were you two talk about good finds and getting lucky with rare stuff in unlikely places.
Great video for all of us pawn/gun shop snoopers. A lot of fun and entertainment even if you don't buy anything. About 1980 or 1981 a firearm distributor we dealt with sold off their Winchester 490 .22 semi-autos, 3 for $100. Needless to say we bought all they had left and sold or traded them at gun shows for the next few years. Of course, we kept a few for ourselves since they are such great shooters. Jess
here is Australia you can only sell your guns at a gun shop. I picked up a nice 2nd hand savage axis for $475 (I'm a shooter on a shoe string budget so this was affordable to me) before you all chime in saying you can pick one up new for $300 I'm well aware but here we have import tax and the good old australia tax thrown ontop of everything so guns here are fucking expenses for just bolt actions, handguns are worse.
Best find was an original Smith & Wesson Schofield .45 model three which had $75 on it and marked half off. Turns out it was bought by Wells Fargo, and I have a Wells Fargo serial numbered holster as well.
I have you all beat a few years ago I was in a pawn shop and talk about not knowing what you have guy had listed a 300 Win Mag or so he thought Weatherby that nobody wanted with a sticker price of only $400 thinking it was a Vanguard Series it was actually the mark 5 which most people are asking 1500 to $2,000 for not bad almost $1,600 off a rifle just by not knowing what you have on your shelf. only downside is 300 Weatherby Magnum is still about $3 a bullet almost like shooting the Smith & Wesson 500 but man what a sweet rifle.
I have been lucky enough to find a few great deals in pawnshops. I once got a DPMS LR-308 SASS for $650. They had just put it in the display case and said I was the first one to even look at it. The best part was they had layaway so for $150 down they held it for me. For the next 2 weeks I couldn't sleep thinking about it until I went and picked it up.
I "used to" like you guys. Now I don't like you, and it's out of pure jealousy. I got a 10/22 at a Wal Mart one time for $96, because it was priced wrong. I can *never* find "deals" at pawn shops. Like some others have remarked, I see old beaters marked at, or above the brand new MSRP. I do better with the guys walking around at gun shows (not vendors). I'd give you a shiny new nickel to know where that Kentucky pawn shop was. The owner was probably kin to me. :-) Thanks for the video.
Try ghetto pawn shops. All of the wannabe thugs in the St. Louis area trade in their grandpappy's old hunting shotgun or milsurp in for a few bucks off the latest black rifle. Then the pawn shop sells them cheap because no one in the neighborhood wants them.
back in the late 80's i was in a junk shop down in phoenix looking at hand guns and my brother in law calls me over to the rack where this guy had around 150 long guns i paid 60 bucks for 1953 spanish 7.62 carbine that i wish i still had today because they were surplus when i bought it there was another 15-20 of them on the rack. now in original condition they are collectible and worth quite a bit more than 60 bucks
I bought a Norinco SKS about a year ago for $150 because it didn't have the box magazine on it but I happened to have a spare at home and it turned out to be a really good shooter and I was seeing them go for $400-500+ at the time. Also was looking for a cheap truck gun a few years ago and bought an unfired Maverick 88 with both barrels for $109 out the door. They didn't know it was unfired so it was basically a brand new gun for $80 less than new prices. Definitely some good deals out there if you look around.
Hey guy I want to thank you for informing me about the mosin's I found a really nice 1942 mosin tha I found with a sling and bullet carrier and offered him 125 buck and he was glad to except my offer !!!! And now I see why y'all love them so much now it's my fav gun even over my ar's lol
My best gun shop find, as there were no pawn shops in my area back in 1979, was a black, nickle plated, flintlock pirate pistol, for $125. As I'd just gotten into muzzle-loader shooting, I recognized it as a possible antique. Turns out it was. It was a 1740 Dutch Dragoon pistol that someone had nickle plated and painted the stock black sometime in the past. After refinishing it and removing the nickle plating, I got over $1000 for it in 1980.
May seem silly to y'all, but, I walked into a local pawn shop, and they had a Sheridan .20 cal pellet gun, from like 1960. Williams peep sights, a Sheridan blue streak. Great condition, 65 bux.
My daughter used my Ruger 22/45 to take her handgun carry class. The instructor wanted to show her how easy it was to disassemble. Needless to say she had to use another gun for the shooting part of the class. A friend, in the '80s found a New Ruger M77 in .30-06 at a country store that they could not sell, because it had no iron sights. He got it for $150. My brother , in the '70s, found a New Remington 742 in.308 mismarked as a Rem .22, he got it for $109+tax. Keep your eyes open.
Probably one of my favourite IV8888 videos. I enjoy the discovery of gems either at a gun show or the used/consignment rack at a store. It's great that you shared the prices that you paid for these pieces and the circumstances of the "find". More please!
Andrew Roebuck start by looking for large cracks anywhere, check the rifling and chamber by shining a light down the bore, check if there's any frosting on the muzzle, look for rust externally and internally, run the action to make sure it still runs smooth. Essentially look at the internals and look for any major defaults to the integrity of the actual firearm
No. Please, don't. It all depends on the gun you want to buy. What you should be looking for depends entirely on what you're looking at. You wouldn't expect a Colt 1903 to have it's finish intact. That doesn't mean it's not worth a few (or possibly several) hundred dollars. But if you're looking at a gun that's only a decade or two old, the finish should be solid. The key is to know what you like and study it. If you like early 20th century pistols, learn everything you can about them. When you see one, you'll know if it's worth what they're asking. You'll probably know more about it than the guy behind the counter.
My best Pawn shop find was a 6 month search, But I walked in and found a Tika 222/12 gauge over under For a $195. That included a 3X Leopold gold ring scope. It was filthy, covered in cheap camo tape and the scope lenses so fithy I couldn't see through it, The gun listed for over $1200 in the 70's, this was 1983 so I took a chance and took it home. After many hours of cleaning, I zeroed it in at 200 yards and have shot several 1 inch groups with it at 200 yards, and then tried some slugs at fifty yards with scope on and fired 1 inch high and dead on wind-age. Unbelievable ,I Know ,but true. My favorite gun buy ever and the last gun I would ever sell. Ohio hunting taken several deer with it and a lot of ground hogs.
Stephen Paraski story of my life, butt I got lucky and found a shop around the highland area and walked out with a basically brand new American Arms ASA15 for 800
Nice findings. About a week ago, I walk into a pawn shop to pick up a rifle of mine from pawn and was doing paperwork when some guy brought in a pile of guns. 13 when they counted them. Some of them milsurp. They was a 1917 Lee Enfield No1 Mk3, French MAS 36, Finish Mosin M91, and some other ones. I was on a high. XD Turns out, the guy was selling his deceased brother-in-law's gun collection to get a banjo that he wanted more. Funny thing was it was raining constantly that morning and they had to remove the guns from the car in the rain so they're wet. The shop knew me somewhat but not alot. I simply volunteered to help clean the water with a rag as I wait for the rain to stop cause I now had my gun which would get wet too. So they handed me a rag and I start wiping em off. The one that caught my attention most was the Mosin that had SA marked on the barrel and was not sporterized like the French or Lee Enfield rifles. I knew enough to know that this was Finish from just the marking alone but wasn't sure about differences between models. After hanging around in there for an hour, the guy had his banjo and the shop had to start cataloging these guns in. This shop is one of those that is definitely lacking in the know of what they have. In fact, my Mosin 91/30 was pawned as Mauser Nagant. 😁 Crazy but it could potentially be an advantage as well. Just before I left, I gave em my phone number and said to call me on the Finish Mosin as I was definitely interested. The next morning, after having brushed up on Finish Mosin Nagants and their markings, I went back to see what they truly had on hand. They let me look at it again and it was marked Tikka 1941. It definitely was a Finish M91. There was no price on it yet but the shop said to come back on the 24th and he'd have a price. So I said alright and walked out feeling pretty good. Now I can't wait. :3
I work with a guy who owns 2 pawn shops with his brother down in SoCal. They pull in about 600-800K a year profit! I asked him about great deals he had made over the years. He said they'd made a lot of jewelry deals and I asked about any great gun deals. He said the best gun deal he ever made was a pawn loan on a matched pair of Colt SAA 45's that were in new condition and produced in the late 1800's!? He loaned something like $6,000 for them and guess what? The guy never came back...He sold them at an auction for $24,000!
I found a Winchester model 58, a single shot bolt action at my local pawn shop. I was just about to leave when i looked down at the end of the rack and saw this little 22 just sitting there by itself. I paid $150 + tax. I refinished the stock and had the barrel re-blued and now my grandson has a nice little plinker he can pass down to his son or daughter.
I absolutely don't ever feel bad about getting one over on pawn brokers... There are some fair ones out there but there are also many out there who would put one over on their own mother to get a good deal.
I got a mosin nagant 91/30 hex receiver last week at a pawnshop for $120 after tax. Does anyone know if i got a fair price for it? I kind of just jumped on it before doing research and just wanted to know if it was a fair price. It was all matching too if that makes a difference.
Whiskey12 You got a good deal I paid 150 for all matching numbers mine was arsenal refinish with bayonet 40 bucks right there tool kit another 20 bucks there and ammo pouch and sling another 30 bucks there. so yes good deal mossins have gone up crazy in price. matching # makes it worth more means it's not a thrown together gun. I sold my m44 Chinese model to a buddy years ago for 40$ . and I kick myself in the ass every day for that.
I have the 452 ZKM, got it on my 13th birthday (16 years of ownership). It's my favorite rifle and is a tack driver, it's probably had 20,000 rounds through it, killed well over 2000 ground squirrels with it and it's still as accurate as when I got it.
This was a fun video to watch! maybe next time you guys should do one with the opposite concept too. Like maybe some guns that you may have spent a liiiittle too much on because you HAD to have it.
I just picked myself up a 1971 Marlin 39D take down lever action in .22lr for a bargain! It is in rough shape but I have taken it to a local gunsmith to have it worked on and polished up. With a little TLC it should be looking brand new again and something my son can enjoy and own one day.
My best buy was a remington 11-48TC and a 870TC matching pair both made in 1950 and I bought both of them for $300 combined. when I got home I found out that the TC is rare especially on a first year 870 and both have english stocks. The store owner said he had those 2 rifles in the shop for over 8 years
Just subscribed!! Great stuff guys👍 Awesome to see that you fellas dig deep into firearm history. The past has some real jewels that I think get overlooked. Really enjoy the info on the obscure firearms as well. Outstanding, keep up the good work!
My best finds were -Winchester 1913 22win auto. Bought for $100, worth upwards of $1000 in it's current condition. Suuuper cool gun. Rounds load in the buttstock all the way up the mag tube. -Ruger Mark 1 Bicentenniel Edition. In box, with manual. Beautiful patina. $100, worth upwards of $500-700 in current condition.
Not only pawn shops. I got a new Ruger 10/.22 for $115.00 after multiple factory sales/re-baits and the store's sales combined. Got it for the short stuff wife, so needed a youth stock. Found a tap-co multi position tac stock instead (with both iron and scope stocks) for only $50.00. Tact out 10/.22 for under $200.00. I was dumb struck. The clouds opened up and the gun gods smiled on me that month. Thought that I might have used all my luck for that year though.
My best pawn shop purchase was a model 38 Turkish Mauser 7.92x57mm. It had an early 70s Weaver 4 power scope mounted on a Weaver iron slighter mount. I gave $160 out the door, the asking price was $200. It was re-barreled in 1944.
Hey just wanted to say thanks to Eric, Chad, and Barry. Thanks for all the good information and thought provoking material. Love the channel, wish you guys the best in the future! Will continue to support!
11:05-11:20 made me think of Isaac Asimov's quote: “There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”
Yessir, got lucky with the salesperson (not what ur thinking, lol) and think there may have been a mixup with mgr. Had to come back the next day to fill out FFL cause mgr was too busy my first trip in. Maybe felt bad on my having to return following day but true story. Think it was orig listed at $200. Love the channel y'all...
Great buy on the East German Mak. I picked up a 1961 one at a little shop. I walked in randomly and the shop owner asked me what I was looking for. A shot in the dark, I said that I was looking for an East German Makarov. He pulled it out from behind the counter. It is also about 100%.. amazing bluing..
What beautiful figure on that old Portuguese rifle! I build guitars, and that’s guitar-quality lumber for sure. My best pawn shop find in the gun world (I mostly buy tools from pawn shops) is my Kimber pro CDP, $350 with a bunch of Wilson Combat parts and 6 Wilson mags. Thought it was a good deal, and it’s the best non-.22 shooter I have.
Not mine, but my Dad's story. He's a locksmith. He was at a pawn shop (somewhere in North GA) that was closing down. He bought the shop's safe and brought it back to his shop. He didn't know the combo so had to drill it open. Low and behold, he opened it and found a Colt Python 357 and a Dan Wesson 22 LR pistol. The Python alone was worth more than what he got the safe for.
Andrew Snider I had to sand the outside of my 11-87 and wrap it after it started pitting after a couple days in the trunk of my car. POS finish for sure.
Keith Gee yep the worst part is I had it maybe a month or two before I could see rust. At least I picked it up new for 275 plus Remington had a rebate at the time, so they essentially payed for a proper finish, which I wish they would've payed for in the first place.
The only pawn shop firearm I ever purchased - a Glenfield version of the Marlin Model 60. light stock dings but pristine bore confirmed with a bore light. clerk said $100, I offered him $50... he asked the boss and it was mine. And I had just walked in there because it was next to the killer mom&pop Italian eatery I just had lunch at and I was looking for a battery for a Ryobi rechargeable drill. Love the videos!
I found a Marlin model 60 from the early 80s with the higher capacity magazine tube for $99.00. It is in good shape and needed a thorough cleaning. My best find was a Winchester 1892 from 1906 which was converted from 25-20 to 357 magnum. Paid $50.00 and then $60.00 for a gunsmith to slug the barrel and test fire for safety.
My best find was a Hungarian FEG PA-63 in 9mm Kurz (.380 ACP). In the 1990s a local shop had a big shipment of PA-63s in 9x18, priced at $75. One, yes one, of the pistols in the case was marked 9mm Kurz. I knew that was .380 ACP. It was also priced at $75. I snatched it up immediately. I lived in Kentucky then and while it was almost impossible to get a carry permit you could legally keep a loaded gun in your glovebox. That is where the PA-63 lived for many years!

My best deal has been an 8 shot Mossberg 500 with a 20" barrel plus heat shield for $215 out the door. The gun was clean, no rust and only had few scratches on the synthetic stock and heat shield. The only thing keeping me from walking into pawnshops now is the fact that I'm a broke college student. But one day I'll be out of school and I'll be hitting up pawnshops whenever I like just like y'all.
Americans so lucky that their attitude with guns is like sampling a fine wine while here i am in my country just wishing i had a 22 rifle
Skylight come to America. we appreciate pro-gunners
doesnt matter if you like pro gunners, it is INSANELY hard for people to move there legally, unless you marry an american. Getting an immigrant work visa takes something like a bachelors at least and some work experience, or an investors visa, which costs 500 000USD
We are not lucky. You are just unlucky.
It's not luck. We FIGHT for our rights, tooth and nail.
Alexander TheOriginalGreat. Just come across the southern border. The Democrats are currently importing a new voter base since the public is realizing how garbage their policies are. They will make sure you are allowed entry.
Why do I feel like Chad ACTUALLY knows everything about every gun ever? Not like a know-it-all. I actually feel that way
Feel the same
Yeah me too
me too
7:20
I found an 8mm mauser with bayonet, and 4 full cloth belts of ammo for $50.
The ammo alone is worth more than that😭
Holy shit
I once found a High Point 9mm for $65 at a gun show and I know high point normally a joke kinda gun but I couldn't pass it up for that cheap and I ended up selling it for $200 about a year later so win win.
Crazy, they're not 200 new lmao
monski 123 Some go for $300+ I believe. They’re considered shitty because they’re cheap, heavy, and ugly. But they’re surprisingly reliable and great at eating up all the shitty ammo you put through them.
man, lmao 😂
nice
@@WafflesNPotholes I kinda like them lol, there's not much I can do aside from limp wristing mine to make it malfunction and it eats everything I've fed it. It's certainly ugly as sin but it gets the job done...
I wouldn’t give you $65, let alone $200. I guess conscience isn’t a problem for you.
paid $120 out the door for a Mossberg 590 that was tagged as a maverick 88. they were asking $150. :)
they was idjits.
I've shot that type of mossberg and I loved it
400 dollar shotgun for 120. Shit must be nice
Mike 242 awesome
Ww2😌luuugggger
Mike 242 what the fuck dude that’s amazing
Bro that’s a 10 thousand dollar weapon ! Wtf am I looking at the wrong weapon ? Nevertheless what a good trade I’d have mowed the guys lawn on demand sleet or snow sun or rain for that kinda money for life haha
Mike i will detail every vehicle you have for that luger and come all the way from commiefornia to pick it up idc if you are in NY
I've gone into pawn shops and regular gun stores that have clerks who should be out shoveling
dog crap off the grass and others that have some really knowledgeable individuals working there
who will take the time to work with a customer the sell their product.
There was a place in Sedalia MO that had a great collection of guns on the wall but the clerk was
as useless as an out of date politician. I walked around looking at the stuff on the walls and
in the cabinets and shelves. Finally I saw one weapon I was interested in and after waiting
about 20 mnutes he finally put down the phone with his GF and came over. I saw an old single
shot Remington .22 that was in good condition. Showed signs of usage but not abuse, it was
clean and tight with no rattle. They wanted $100. at the time and I walked out with it for $25
after dickering with him back and forth. I was out at the firing range a couple of months later
and playing with my new toy. An older gentleman came up and was shooting and we got to
talking. He said he had one just like mine but had to sell it a few months back when he moved
and was getting rid of some older weapons. We got to chatting and he had sold it along with
some others to the same pawn shop and needed the money to pay some bills and move.
Turned out it was the same weapon that he had sold. It was one his father had given him when
he was a young man back around 1930 or so. He said he really missed his old rabbit gun.
Before We parted I sold it back to him for what I paid for it. He was extremely happy to have
it back and I must admit I was happy although I loved that weapon it was a fun shooter and
accurate as hell.
great story
Respect for selling it back the same price instead of conning him man
James Maxwell lol what shop in Sedalia was that?
Which pawn shop? I don't pass through Sedalia very often, but that sounds like the kind of place that's worth a stop. $25 for any shooter is a steal, let alone an old gallery gun.
James Maxwell awesome story man
Damn you Georgia boys!
I have never seen a gun in a hawaii pawn shop lol.
MoreAmerican In Texas Pawn Shops are just gun shops that sell other random stuff.
That's because much like us Canadians, you have shitty gun laws too so guns are few and far between :(.
The best you can find in NJ pawn shops are some used reloading supplies. The only reason I stay here is for the good schools for my kids. Once they're grown, I'm outta here!
Guns are cheaper too. i picked a case of mosins for 300.
MoreAmerican every pawn shop I've been in has at least 10 guns
Then again I do live in Texas
Even Walmart has guns
*_*haggling intensifies*_*
Very pawn shop I walk into has guns in terrible conditions and prices marked almost as high as the msrp of a ban new gun.
Nicholas Moralez Same here. 99% trashed 22s and maybe one battered Mosin that they want 300 for.
Same case at my local pawn shop. BUT they give me great deals on rare ammo I can't find anywhere else.
I'm just glad I got dibs on it before my friends did
smartacus88 eh. its the sellers responsibility to be informed on their product. business is business.
another time I got a really good deal on a P38 was from a black gangbanger that I knew he sold it to me for $200. I thought it was funny at the time him carrying a Nazi gun.
It's not your moral obligation to inform people who are willfully ignorant. We have had the internet for a long time, and it takes 5 minutes to find basic info on what makes a gun rare.
A top 10 without a wildcard??? come on guys
asdfjkl74able I was thinking the same thing when I tapped too see how much time was left on the vid lol.
The.
There must be a God, and he must be looking out specifically for you.

Great find lol
Speaking of pawn shops, probably about time for a Moss Pawn & Gun shop tour...
Just like the old days with you and Barry, really enjoy your channel.
That means a lot to me. Thanks. We miss that old man...😪
here in California, if it's not a mosin nagant or 10/22, it's over $500
Somnio 64 lol true!!
Somnio 64 Have you considered not living in California?
Go to Idaho and buy your long gun. the deals are out of state.
It would be nice if people didn't assume I'm here by choice, I'm a broke college student that was born here
Already did. so whats your point??
The problem I have in Houston is that the pawn shops all seem to be a little too proud about their merchandise. I saw a Remington 870 express and a few Moss 500 for almost twice what'd you'd buy them brand new....smh
vidacrazy - no kidding thats true
vidacrazy It's the same in San Antonio.
Psssh, gotta have that wiggle room!
I'm in houston too. You speak the truth
Man, I would love to spend a day with these two just going to different pawn shops looking for deals.
Norinco NDM 86 dragunov limited edition in velvet lines case with all the goodies included. $500 about 4 years ago. Pawn shop thought it was just a standard ak with a long barrel
jelly
I have a knack for finding the ugliest gun on the wall and buying it. I actually just picked up an H&R Topper 12 GA single shot shotgun at a pawn shop for $80 out the door only because some idiot spray painted it camouflage. An hour later I had it cleaned good as new. I'm going to refinish the stock eventually but it functions just fine the bore was clean.
outskirtscustoms I love my ugly gun finds thumb nail is a Hiawatha 12 guage single cut to 19 inches cammo painted 28 bush chickens this year
Started to work at a gun store....Pretty much work for guns at this point. lol
rockin870 Lucky
Seriously though. I knows that's what would happen to me. I'd be homeless living in my car paying for a storage space for my guns. People would think I was a drug addict but I'm just a gun addict.
I hope you guys realize how truly lucky you both are to have a best friend that is equally interested in the same hobby. That right there is one of the most valuable things you can have in life.
I spent 225 dollars and got a numbers matching polish m44 with 1000 rounds of ammo
Love that Fin mosin!
Found an m134 mini gun at an old pawn shop, $300 out the door.
Year?
You have got to be joking?! I paid $750 for mine and it had surface rust on it. I got ripped off...
pawn it
Donald Pump. lol
Donald Pump Piece of crap, sell it on OfferUp
Surplus and deal videos are my favorite. Can't beat a nice surplus rifle. I need to get my C&R so bad..
best pawn shop deal, i got an "italian mouser" (yes, thats how they spelled it) m38 carcano in "dropped in the sand once" condition for $65. they had it marked $100 when i asked them if i could disassemble the bolt to check out the internals. it was covered with thick, dried oil and would hardly move. long story short, couldnt get the cocking piece nut off so i talked them down to 65.
nothing equates to finding an all-matching K31 for 150$
I absolutely loved this episode.
In Estonia we say about the makarovs that if you run out of its ammo, you can always throw and kill the enemy.
Interesting, what do you think of the Savage 300.
I have been lucky enough to find a few great deals in pawnshops. I once got a DPMS LR-308 SASS for $650. They had just put it in the display case and said I was the first one to even look at it. The best part was they had layaway so for $150 down they held it for me. For the next 2 weeks I couldn't sleep thinking about it until I went and picked it up.
im pretty jelly of that Finnish mosin, nice find man.
Some of the most down to earth gun enthusiast. I'm into guns partially because of youtube channels like this. Keep up the good work guys.
35 seconds and there's already 34 views. Are you kidding me?
Lunchbox The Magnificent The way technology is these days 35 views on a 34 second-old video is nothing
Lunchbox The Magnificent Considering they have 1M subs, it's surprising that they don't have mire views within that timeframe.
Lunchbox The Magnificent View bots, I'm sure it's like a monthly subscription.
mememojo don't make me burst into song...
HellishGrin460 In a young girl's heart...
I got an Arisaka for $140, an SKS for $200, Glock 34 MOS with a Vortex Venom for $500.
I freaking love pawn shops.
I found a nice fn 1950 mauser chambered in 30-06 I love the thing. Oddball but its my oddball. $200 out the door.
back in the late 80's i was in a junk shop down in phoenix looking at hand guns and my brother in law calls me over to the rack where this guy had around 150 long guns i paid 60 bucks for 1953 spanish 7.62 carbine that i wish i still had today because they were surplus when i bought it there was another 15-20 of them on the rack. now in original condition they are collectible and worth quite a bit more than 60 bucks
damn!!! those are some good deals. I found a Maglula UpLULA pistol magazine loader for 4.99 one time. Thats almost the same.... 0.o
I got a Taurus judge and a 10/22 for $100 a piece 👍
2 wheeled demon $200 for the judge
Bullshit where
I like the price on the 10/22 ill by it
10/22 are normally 250
2 wheeled demon would've went with a s&w governor but at that price you can't complain, great find👍🏻
HAHAHAHH "ain't no body care bout dat hyuk hyuk hyuk" best part of the vid for sure
The best deal I found was a Mossberg 500A with a 24'' rifled barrel, Nikon Scope, and a spare 18.5'' smooth bore barrel all for $200.
Did Chad say Canuckistan? Someone's been watching too much AVE.
Someone's been watching too much AVE... maybe that would be you...
could you make a video on what to look for when buying a used gun
The pawn shops in metro Detroit area are crazy. They ask MSRP for used junk.
Stephen Paraski story of my life, butt I got lucky and found a shop around the highland area and walked out with a basically brand new American Arms ASA15 for 800
I must have that 24/30. My hero Simo Hayah used that type of mosin.
XD
Turns out, the guy was selling his deceased brother-in-law's gun collection to get a banjo that he wanted more. 😁
Crazy but it could potentially be an advantage as well. :3
I really love this video style/format. Keep 'em coming guys!
The guy never came back...He sold them at an auction for $24,000!
colt diamond back 38 6" $200.00 / husqvarna 270 with vintage bushnell 3x9 $225.00
Here in Ashland, Kentucky I went to tri-state pawn and jewelry and bought a sig p250 in 40s&w for $325.
Like maybe some guns that you may have spent a liiiittle too much on because you HAD to have it.
sounds like when i spent $900 on my AK74 haha
I just picked myself up a 1971 Marlin 39D take down lever action in .22lr for a bargain! It is in rough shape but I have taken it to a local gunsmith to have it worked on and polished up. With a little TLC it should be looking brand new again and something my son can enjoy and own one day.
Picked up mosin in slightly better condition for $140
My best buy was a remington 11-48TC and a 870TC matching pair both made in 1950 and I bought both of them for $300 combined. when I got home I found out that the TC is rare especially on a first year 870 and both have english stocks.
My best finds were
-Winchester 1913 22win auto.
My local shop had a Zip .22 for $100. I still walked
chongo989 I might by one for $20... To use as a long range target
I've bought worse for more. I paid $150 for a Grendel P-10.
about 4 years ago i picked up a s&w 639 for $335 out the door. i was super excited and was laughing when i checked up on prices on gunbroker
Hey guy's, hoping you's could do a updated video on the Kel-Tec KSG. Would be greatly appreciated, cheers!
P08 Luger 250$ / Finn M39 100$ / USGI M1 carbine 400$ all with in last two years. bunch others i forget
11:05-11:20 made me think of Isaac Asimov's quote:
“There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”
28" barrel, wood stock and fore grip, Mossberg 500A 12 ga pump for $107 plus tax in Gainesville, GA...still had the 3 shot wooden dowel in the tube.
KILLER price!

I bet you the guy who sold Chad the east German Mac is watching this video ;D
What beautiful figure on that old Portuguese rifle! I build guitars, and that’s guitar-quality lumber for sure. My best pawn shop find in the gun world (I mostly buy tools from pawn shops) is my Kimber pro CDP, $350 with a bunch of Wilson Combat parts and 6 Wilson mags. Thought it was a good deal, and it’s the best non-.22 shooter I have.
What I learned from this video is that if a gun can't shoot, it makes for great decoration. And I agree with that.
I had to cerakote my 870 to keep the rust off. Terrible finish
The Pawn shops in Lehigh Valley PA. aren't allowed to have guns. and the Kmart and Walmart's also.
Can you please revisit the PSL?

I found a Marlin model 60 from the early 80s with the higher capacity magazine tube for $99.00. It is in good shape and needed a thorough cleaning. My best find was a Winchester 1892 from 1906 which was converted from 25-20 to 357 magnum. Paid $50.00 and then $60.00 for a gunsmith to slug the barrel and test fire for safety.
this is a good idea for a top ten list
My best find was a Hungarian FEG PA-63 in 9mm Kurz (.380 ACP). In the 1990s a local shop had a big shipment of PA-63s in 9x18, priced at $75. One, yes one, of the pistols in the case was marked 9mm Kurz. I knew that was .380 ACP. It was also priced at $75. I snatched it up immediately. I lived in Kentucky then and while it was almost impossible to get a carry permit you could legally keep a loaded gun in your glovebox. That is where the PA-63 lived for many years!
I got a finish mosin for $175 at the local gunshop because they didn't know it was a finish mosin.
Nice. XD
Turns out, the guy was selling his deceased brother-in-law's gun collection to get a banjo that he wanted more. Funny thing was it was raining constantly that morning and they had to remove the guns from the car in the rain so they're wet. The shop knew some but not alot. 😁
Crazy but it could potentially be an advantage as well. :3
Picked up a Finnish 91/30 for 130 last month
My best deal has been an 8 shot Mossberg 500 with a 20" barrel plus heat shield for $215 out the door. The gun was clean, no rust and only had few scratches on the synthetic stock and heat shield. The only thing keeping me from walking into pawnshops now is the fact that I'm a broke college student. But one day I'll be out of school and I'll be hitting up pawnshops whenever I like just like y'all.
My names Eric and this is my pawn shop
