wtf you need 1tb? I use a ton of storage with games,and other apps plus With my cloud data storage. I have a a 256gb and have 123gb left. You spent money on essentially the same phone you use to have 15 pro max lmao.
My 16 Pro Max is fine. You’re on 18.1 beta and trying to restore it to an iPhone on 18.0 Public. Obviously you cannot do that. They have to be on the SAME OS VERSION. Nothing is wrong with your phone.

Dude next year you keep that 16 Pro Max instead, I love tech to but can't justify the waste of "upgrading" yearly. And being that upset on UPS for taking "to long" on delivery makes you sound like a manchild, please grow up..

It's because your iCloud backup is on 18.1 beta, you need to use the same iOS version to use that backup.
Then it shouldn't offer that choice

@@vi-yn1ssTo be fair normal users would never have this issue. It is only because he opted into beta unstable software. Don’t think Apple should devote resources for people to be able to downgrade iCloud backup data from a beta to stable…

I bought the iPhone 16 Pro. Coming from the iPhone 12, this is a complete upgrade for me. It has a 48 MP camera with some new features with the app, I like the 120 Hz display and it's a higher definition OLED display. I like the fact that the internal speaker is now louder so I can put my phone down beside me and listen to my music clearly. The last thing I really like is that it has a USB-C connector so I can go back to using just one cable for recharging my mobile devices. I'm still torn between the Pro and the Pro Max, however. All you're really getting out of the Pro Max is a larger screen and longer battery life. Everything else between the Pro and Pro Max is the same. I like the Pro for its familiar size, easy to use with one hand, easy to fit in my pocket and it's lighter than the Pro Max.
i just switched from a pixel 7a to an iphone 16, been android since the start but made the switch because of pixels heat and battery issues. Yeah its a budget phone but a 3 hour battery life is unacceptable on any phone. Honestly had the iphone from launch day and i love it. Switching over is kind of a pain but honestly its not to bad.
Yeah I am going to have to pass on this review. Just a bit of criticism, not trying to be harsh here but so far all you have really done is whine about not getting your watch or your phone exactly when you wanted. Its almost like there are hundreds of thousands of these things being shipped all at once! Maybe next video try to tone down the personal complaints and focus on the product.

The camera control thing kept coming up because that's THE ONLY NEW FEATURE Apple could actually come up with. Looks like they have been taking cues from RUclips, make a new feature, break many old ones.
Not including the stickers is the icing on the cake (caramel on the Apple?) They used to give you those so you could blast them all over everywhere and _plant a seed_ in someone's mind to buy it. Now they don't even care. I guess Johnny APPLEseed got cyanide poisoning.
The first tablet I had was a 7" display. It actually has a slot for a SIM card and you could use it as a phone. In fact, they coined the term "phablet" for it. Here we are, 14 years later, and Apple still hasn't caught up.
Let’s see the difference with the this and the last model: The camera control button in the spot of the old antenna thing, and other technical details that I do not care about, but it’s fine.
I would not recommend going back to Samsung as it will make your computer setup a living hell (somewhat), but I do agree that iPhones are getting a little funky.
Would have raged if my 15 did that since my 14 had a broken mic and AT&T screwed me
I had a lot of issues setting up my 16 Pro,
iCloud backup is always finnicky. My advice is setup the phone as new and then do iCloud backup later.
Still got my 14 pro max proudly 😅

Just because it didn't happen to you doesn't mean it hasn't happened to others.
Apple should show a pop-up saying you need to be on the same version when trying to restore. Your comment section sucks man. Just like Apple.
He opted into the dev beta for 18.1 when 18 wasn't even offficially released yet. Also it does tell you that when you opt into the beta build. All he needed to do is set it up as new, update the OS to the beta build to be able to restore from his icloud backup.
