joe isn't a chef; he 's a food critic who inherited a place in the industry. The way he looks down at people when he doesn't have a particle of their talent has always been offensive.
he's not a chef but he should have a very deep food knowledge to own multiple world class restaurants, if you watch every masterchef season that he's in, he mostly knows what the dish is, the history and how is it done. Although he doesn't go in kitchen, that's given because you'll never see a boxing analyst in the ring

@@kodiak809 Still it's kinda weird to see him being rude to the contestants who can cook better than him. And a lot of times he throws the food inside the bin without tasting it. There are better ways to give your feedback. He doesn't need to be a bully.
Joe is not a chef.. his mom is. Only reason why he has a Michelin Star is because of his mother and Mario Batali. If there's anyone in the food industry that just doesn't get how food works, it's Joe hands down. If Gordon Ramsay and Aaron Sanchez both agree that garlic bread goes well with an Italian dish then try it; at least. Joe said "there's no such thing as garlic bread in Italy" well he's wrong. The origin of garlic bread actually originated from southern Italy; sad that an Italian doesn't know his own country's history. Most Italians I know (I'm Italian myself) always use garlic bread with their dishes because it just marries well. There's nothing like toasted bread smothered in olive oil topped with handmade ravioli or pasta parm.. they really are a match made in heaven.

Damn man you are 100% sure i myself didn't try garlic bread my whole life. But i can already feel that it goes well with Italian food. Thats why in the future when its possible ill go to Italy and enjoy the food there.
@@takumifujiwara3066 I love garlic bread added to my pasta and it doesn't matter if it's creamy pasta or marinara sauce; the addition brings that extra crunch with the buttery saturated garlic. All depends on what type of bread you use though. My go to is Ciabatta; has a nice soft texture compared to other breads like French bread or Baguettes (harder crust).

Honestly, so. So do MANY SAHMs, and still no one says anything when their husband's are bringing in the dough. They also live a very privileged life, and no on says a thing, and honestly they shouldn't, if they're doing their share at home. Keep it fair. What about the wives of business owners, doctors, architects, etc. Nothing gets said about them, so I don't see the fuss.
And the women arguing with Leslie stays home too lmao the irony to call Leslie out when she does the same thing 😂
@Jazzy_Monae I don't think him being a stay at home dad was really the whole point. He portrayed himself as a different person than he actually was, whether he was a stay at home parent or not. He lived (or maybe still lives still) a very privileged and detached life from the other contestants. I think that was their whole point. He lived in a mansion in malibu, whereas the others lived a pretty working class life. Nothing really to do with his status as a parent.

I understand what you mean, however, I also think gordan was trying to teach a good lesson here. Bc people are going to talk bad about you, make snarky comments, etc. your whole life. I think what Gordan meant to say to him was to be the mature one and let it go, bc in the real world that’s what you have to do.
Never feel bad for Dorian. The only reason she technically was able to compete on Master Chef is because she never actually used her culinary arts degree and Cordon Bleu-level training to embark on a professional career. She married wealthy and stayed at home for 20 years modifying recipes her mother crafted with the elite world-class culinary techniques she was taught in school. She's one of the biggest ringers in the history of the show.
Joes lucky he has his mommy to live off the coat tails of. The dude couldn't even boil water but is considered a top food critic of his mommy 😂.

These fights are probably the best part of a reality cooking show because otherwise the show isn’t as good.
I hardly disagree. He was a good cook and proud of his work the judges were super unfair to him and his dishes. In general Masterchef USA is more about drama than cooking.

Another uncommon scenario which judges disagree with each other is a dinner service which Chef Ramsay asked Chef Elliot and Joe where they would put Christine. Joe's answer is "definitely coat check room" which sparked an argument between him and Chef Ramsay because the famous multi-Michelin starred chef was really disappointed with Joe's answer although both judges raised valid points. Chef Ramsay argued in a chef's perspective while Joe argued in a businessman's perspective, but Joe was disrespectful that time which caused even Chef Ramsay to argue with him.

I like this insight. Society has double standards. They think being a housewife is fine, but being a househusband is unacceptable. What if the reason a man chose to be a househusband to take care of the house and their family is because he wants his wife's dream career to come true, particularly if the wife's dream career involves going out more often such as being a flight or ship crew?
The American version has more drama than all of the other versions. 🤣😂🤣😂

Honestly, anything that comes out of Joe's mouth is absolute pompous garbage. He's a restaurateur, not a chef, so his opinions are really below that of the other judges WHO ARE CHEFS. In the words of Joe himself actually "what do chefs do? They cook. This is MasterCHEF" meaning that it's definitely not MasterRestaurateur then, huh? 🙄

Honestly, if this is Masterchef Austria, Chef Marco wouldn't tolerate Joe's attitude before his return. Tbf, Joe has become a lot nicer and more supportive when he returned to Masterchef, as if the old Joe is gone for good because he became an entirely new Joe.

I dont like joe as a judge because he compounds the issue when he gets angry while with Christian i get that but with the red velvet cake challenge the woman who brought hers up (i forget her name) crying knowing its bad and got heated for it while i get getting heated with her KNOWING she messed up even BEFORE bringing it up complete mind you was compounded the issue

I liked the presentation. I have been a vegetarian for 9 years and I'm just curious why they picked on him before tasting it? Or is that just the short that shows the dish intact? I guess there are no cotton gloves in this business..but, I think that you should stand up for your work. On the other hand I haven't seen the whole episode.
