I'm a recent cosmetology school graduate - I love hair and skin and makeup, beauty is deep and meaningful to me, but after graduating, I find myself so disenchanted and dispassionate. I was in science before this, and had been considering going back to school for it - the idea of cosmetic chemistry actually struck me briefly before I graduated cosmetology school as well but no one there seemed to have many answers for me. Seeing your videos on the subject have fanned that spark back to life - I feel passionate and excited, and like there's still hope for me to work with beauty, without giving up something else I really loved that drives me. Thank you for uploading all of this!
This comment is the sweetest. Thank you so much for taking the time out to show appreciation. It means everything to me. I wish you the absolute best in your journey and rekindled love for beauty and cosmetic chemistry 💞
Yes one of the chemists who I adore here at my job is a chem E grad! She’s super knowledgeable. Love how she marries her knowledge of engineering with chemistry to make beautiful batches...you’ll do great 💞

when you finish with chemical engineering do you need a separate degree for cosmetic chemist or when you graduate from chemical engineering you can become an cosmetic chemist right away?
Your video was really cool. We reallly appreciated your journey and loved it. I'm brazilian, I'm a pharmacist and I've been working here with development of cosmetics around 5 years. I really want to go to USA to work over there and learn more and more. Congrats dear!
I am planning to take a specialization in my university of chemical and biological engineering. This degree will be a great start for cosmetic chemist right? I mean this degree focuses more on math and physics than in chemistry
