The only way to do it is 4 seasons x 12 episodes, for each main game. Absolutely no chance getting 4 plots done in 1 movie in any meaningful or satisfying manner.

The 1st movie needs to have an introduction to FOxhound, show them sort of forming and coming up and then taking over the shadow moses plant. Then after that kind of intro, the movie really starts with an awesome secondary intro of Solid Snake an his connection to them a lil as he gets shot out of the plane in the pod to the water and him swimming and breaking into shadow moses , talking on the codex to cololnel and master miller, and then boom hes climbing up the ladder out of the water into the storage area start movie an follow game step by step, 3 hrs long to fully tell the 1st game story....gr8 movie potential and the ending just plays the outro an voices just like the game settng up a 2nd movie.
A live action Metal Gear movie is a natural move seeing as how every game has liberally “borrowed” from more movies, tv shows, comic books, and other mediums that Quintin Tarantino would consider it obsessive
You would think that by now there would be at least a series of animes that knowing Kojima would tie into the games narrative and was critical to understand the overall “plot” with quotations bigger than any metal gear
I am very confident in the MGS Movie turning out successful and I do trust Jordan Vogt-Roberts to pull it off,The only thing that I dont like in this whole development process is the constant lack of news
I mean, if they write it as silly as an 80s movie like Scape of NY or LA, that's half of the job. None of that "modern audience" mumbo jumbo. That and a convincing Solid Snake would do the trick for me.
Always thought Bradley Cooper looked more like snake. Don’t matter though, Oscar Isaac is too old now as is Bradley. They hang about far too much, then a decade passes.

Hollywood at its creative peak would struggle with making a coherent and satisfying MGS movie. Current Hollywood will butcher it beyond recognition.
