Kate a malignant Narcissist. Interesting that there have been other people in the medical profession like that - notably Dr Harold Shipman and most recently Lucy Letby. Her reaction when she's confronted by Grace and the others is known as "narcissistic collapse" - when they can no longer maintain the grandiose image they have of themselves and start to lash out. Interestingly, Harold Shipman had a similar collapse when he was presented with inescapable evidence that he was guilty.
I loved Dr Kate. It was around the beginning of this year I for the first time finished eps 1-692. As I watched all of them I made notes on who was my favourite character and favourite storyline too. Here are my Top 10 favourite characters: 1. Lizzie Birdbrain-Wrinkles Birdsworth 2. Chrissie ''He's a b*stard'' Latham 3. Erica ''Very well'' Davidson 4. Vera vinegar-tits Bennett 5. Ruth Ballinger 6. Merle Jones 7. Joan 'The Freak' Ferguson 8. Colleen Po-Face Powell 9. Bea Smith 10. Psycho Doctor Kate Peterson And my Top 10 storylines: 1. Joan Ferguson and Shane's tight bond. 2. Ruth Ballinger's entire 15 episode run including the siege. 3. Colleen losing her husband and two children in the car bomb explosion (433-434). 4. Bea's Amnesia. 5. Reb's memory loss and personality change due to the excessive ECT. 6. Psycho Dr Kate Peterson losing the plot. 7. Nancy's Diary with Nancy's voiceover as Joan snooped 8. Sonia and Bobbie on the loose in Sydney 9. Lizzie's romance with Sid 10. Merle stoned. 7th September 2024
@@NickGreenwoodable As she told Marie, she was "getting rid of the rubbish" which I believe has a deeper meaning than just the regular trash. She'd later flat out admit to Helen Smart what she did.
Olivia Hamnett was a classy and refined actress who played a manipulative,Conniving,Uncaring character who was a Doctor, she was insane, hate to think what her patients went through,I bet she was awful to them.
Both should have stayed and Took on the Freak,Sandy and The Freak as arch enemies would have been Great and Kate conniving between the pair woukd have been great too.
I loved Kates first revealing her true manipulative ways to her mother and the viewers . A brilliantly flaired character!
Iconic character in an iconic era of Prisoner
Absolutely loved Kate and Sandy's arc!

Steve Faulkner/Fawkner had to put up with the most of Kate Peterson's bullshit, it was hilarious.
Must have been hard for him though knowing that she probably killed Sandy.

The prototype of Ellis Grey!
Did she really kill sandy?
Fascinating character. The big question is did she kill Sandy or help her to escape? What do you think?
She killed her putting her in trash bin and she got crushed
Yeah def killed her!
@@mistressravenlilyscreepybo5493 Absolutely - you see her picking up the dustbin lid ready to hit an unsuspecting Sandy!
