Jude is one of the best characters on this show. So enlightened and engaged. Great job to the actor playing her.
Betty Bobbitt. I've had the privilege of befriending her. She is an amazing woman with a beautiful spirit. That loving side of Judy, especially when she's with Hazel at the end, is how Betty is all the time. Dearly love her.

Judy WAS a great character but by the end, she was awful. The second time Marie comes back to Wentworth, and just pushes her off the press, well it's a sad ending to the character that smashed up Bea to start out with.
Markxxx completely agree with your comments her character at the end completely differed to the character she portrayed throughout the show still one of my favourite characters and a great actress
Poor Judy, seeing jock Stewart, it's like seeing the school bully 30 years after leaving school.
This is the BEST show on youtube! I'm so happy watching it here and not on Netflix or cable.
It also eats up considerably less bandwidth, to boot. That is still an issue where I live; Netflix is a bandwidth hog.
@@ovormotssetgetsiin6359 - Good point about bandwidth. Only it now seems that here on RUclips, episodes are becoming blocked in the UK by Fremantle International. It's their property I suppose, RUclips only hosts it, they don't own it, it's tenure on here may be coming to an end.
Yes Tanya, it's still a great show to watch today. It's been hosted by RUclips for several years now, but it's become apparent that Fremantle International are showing intentions to block episodes, at least in the UK. It is their property, RUclips is only the hosting service, they've had several years of distribution rights which has been great, but it may not be too bad a judgement to suggest that maybe the show's tenure on here is coming to an end.

Kate Peterson is like some kind of specter, floating silently around H block and sidling up to prisoners to whisper guidance and advice to them.

Raising and training service dogs has been successful prison programs and would really help the women involved.
Talking to animals is very theraputic, especially dogs ( I Used to do pet Therapy work for years an dogs do wonders for people).
Nothing wrong with talking to animals. Anyone who has a pet talks to them like they're a child of theirs

Janets character turns nice again before it's over. The way the characters keep changing and so quickly, from Janet, to Sandy to Kate is amazing.

Jim must be waking up to the reality of how crazy he initially was to ever see anything in Janet. She is a possessive, insecure nutcase who has no conception of how to go about a relationship. Even when he spells it out to her in plain English it still doesn't penetrate through that thick head of hers! Kate is playing with fire by being so two-faced towards the other women. She won't have a friend left in the place if the truth gets out and she is now compelled to stay on the right side of Colleen or she could spill the beans. Doreen's decision-making just gets worse and worse...... How she could have thought there would be no repercussions following lagging like that is beyond me. She is obviously slow on the uptake but she has been inside long enough to know better than that.
Kate is a sneaky bitch, she knows Bea has her sussed so she immediately starts to work on the women to turn them against Bea. Great writing and great performances. Really enjoying re watching these episodes.

Sounds like him too. I'm guessing that's the guy who was next in line for the part. I've noticed that they often have extras/small roles where they look uncannily like one of the leads. The actors for this show were terribly unreliable, esp at first. The guy who plays Ted Douglas is really just the script editor. He said, "Yet another actor did not show, so it was me or nobody!!" ,

I don't recall Jim having given back that thousand-dollar camera Janet bought him. Did he keep it, even after breaking up with her? I don't think not giving back a thousand-dollar camera would be a small detail for the storyline, since Jim did comment on it to Meg in an earlier episode--and after all, these were 1982 dollars.
Why should he have to return a present given to him just cos he no longer wants to be on a relationship?
