ABOUT THE SHOW: Patrick Peterson and Bryant McFadden have made a living for their coverage skills on the football field, and while it's a different technique, they're now applying those traits on their new podcast 'All Things Covered'. Instead of wide receivers, tight ends and running backs, they'll be covering sports, entertainment, social issues, personal interests and more. Every Tuesday, the 8-time Pro Bowler Peterson and 2-time Super Bowl champion McFadden will discuss what's happening on the gridiron as well as what intrigues them off the field. Each week they'll welcome a star from the sports and entertainment world to have wide-ranging conversations about what interests them. Guests can include active or former football players but also athletes and influencers from other sports and walks of life. Football is how we know our hosts, but far from what defines Pat and BMac. The name says everything; expect all things to be covered!

100% agreed! Watching Tua’s squad come in during that Vandy game, had me going to the kitchen to find some popcorn. It was like they were using another playbook. And it was definitely during the Vandy game when I knew Jalen was only the starter out of respect. And that’s no diss to Jalen, because it forced him to step up his game to become the dynamic QB we saw at Oklahoma. It wasn’t that he was incapable at Bama, his own athleticism kept him from developing other aspects of his game due to getting away with it from high school on back. Which happens to so many super athletic QB’s.

Bamas 2nd Belitnikoff Award Winner in 2 yrs. DeVonta was winner of such Awards as The Walter Camp Award, AP POY, Sporting News POY, Paul Hornung Award, SEC POY & HEISMAN🏆WINNER! DeVonta won A HOST of other Awards as well. He too was a 1st RND PICK & also a DAY1(Eagles starter). All these guys were unanimous All Americans & All SEC 1st TEAM Players. The 2017 CLASS was 27-1 at Bryant Denny & 55-3 OVERALL in their 4 years at Bama. *3 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP APPEARANCES WITH *2 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP 🏆 wins. ALL THIS FROM (JUST) THE 2017 recruiting class! We didn't even mention Pat Surtain or Jalen Waddle who both came out of the 2018 class, but both went pro the same year 1ST RND, giving Bama 4 players the previous year (Tua, Jerry, Henry & Jed) & 6 players in the 1st round, which tied the record for MOST pics in the 1st round the next year with (Mac, DeVonta, Jaylen, Najee, Leatherwood & Pat S). A total of TEN 1st rounders in 2 seasons. 8 of the 10 coming from the SAME 2017 RECRUTING CLASS. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Also Landon Dickerson would have been with them as the Rimington Award winner after transferring in from FSU...as well as Dillion Moses who got hurt. @@kocs98 It’s very much true. Schools like Alabama spend more money on football than JSU spends on the entire school. What do you think that moneys going to? They’re getting the best of everything. If you give good players the best of everything, that gives them the opportunity to be best of the best. That includes Walter Payton and Jerry Rice. Just because they were great when they were drafted doesn’t mean they wouldn’t have been even better if they had had the resources that ND and USC had. I wouldn’t advise anybody to play make decisions based on emotions or identity. Id tell any kid to go where it makes the most sense. They don’t owe black folks, JSU, Walter Payton or Deion Sanders anything. The only thing they owe is to become the best they can be for their own families. Forget being a martyr. Get your money.
