The smaller tablecloths are actually supper cloths. I have some that were embroidered by my grandmother and others by my great aunt. Matching serviettes of course! I’ll never part with them.

I went into a junk shop here in England down in Devon while on holiday, and found a 6ft mirror on a stand that looked French inspired for only £45...bargain, it now has pride of place in my bedroom x x

Janelle, love your videos! Do you do a sniff test when you thrift for if something comes from a smoker’s home for example? And if an item does smell do you wash it a certain way or just not buy it? Thanks!
You'll be hard pressed to find vintage things in the op shops around me - they're full of fast fashion 😦
Yes here to I rarely find good stuff and the prices seem to have shot up I don't know why soon it'll be cheaper to buy new.

About once or twice a year a go through my wardrobe and donate what I no longer wear to charity. Once I walked past someone wearing a dress I made (that I donated) which was pretty cool 😊

What a lucky trip ! I wish I had cool thrift stores like those around me but the few ones there is never have good fabric and almost never great items of clothing 😪. Keep thrifting for frustrated people,like me please 😅

In Spain it's "expensive" to buy in trifht store and near me there aren't fabrics, patterns. It's amazing how many things do you find!!!🤩🤩🤩

Hi Janelle, I see the 1st vintage tablecloth as being an off-the-shoulder peasant blouse! Maybe with a tassel tie? I also loved the blue fabric with pink rose dress. Possibly you might prefer a little lace in the low neck? Proud of you and your product, regards Susan

The mint material with the pink flowers is like Catherine kitson which I very popular in the uk. Look it up. Lots of love. Barb X (from the UK).

What a loot! The first fabric 's colour( the greyish brown one) is called French Grey. If I were you I wouldn't alter the jumpsuit. It really suited you! My fav item from this haul. Besides the jacket along with the peachy dress is kinda nice too and has got a lot of potential, you could style it with the last cinnamon pair of jeans from the video dor example. 🤗 curious 2 see how you will thrift flip the gingham fabric.😘

I had to go to Launceston a few weeks ago and I called into the big Op Shop that has the Cafe in the middle. The kids didn't believe me so I took them there. I'd love to check out a few more in the future, do you mind telling me which ones are your favourites?

how do you know when something is vintage or antique or simply an older 2nd hand item?
I think officially something is vintage if it’s at least older than 20 years and antique is more like 100 years old 😊
