    It would be nice to hear from the designers of the SMPSs. How were they developed. It all starts with a design, then it goes thru the testing phase, etc. I worked with design engineers when they were developing modems. It was exciting.

    Hello
    I have many ATX power supplies. Most of them have two 200V/470uf input filter capacitors. One or both of these capacitors have bulging upper parts. When I measure capacity with a multimeter, I read normal or slightly low values.
    I want to ask, how can I be sure that these capacitors are healthy without using a multimeter?

    INPUT 100-240VAC
    OUTPUT 5.0 vdc 1.5A 7.5W
    15.0 vdc 2.6A 39.0W
    zero output why?

    Sir I have a board used c3998 transistor l replaced damaged transistors but the base resistor also needs to change l don't know the value of the resistor can you help me with the resistor value please
    I checked the good resistor value 6.8 ohms is it ok

    Input is open circuit in multimeter around 200kOhm, but when I plug in, the mcb of house trips. What could be the issue sir?
