Turned out great. I’m currently doing my 89 Jimmy. It’s a bare tub/shell now and just got done with patching some floor pan areas especially in the “cab corner” area. I’m doing bedliner too but with no carpet and the under side of the whole tub will be lined too. Can’t wait till I’m done, but 60+ hour swing shift work sucks. Your C10 is also inspiring. On the side I’m also building a forged .030 over 6.0 for boost for it.

I just can’t tell you how much I absolutely love those blazers and have been looking for one for quite some time and can’t seem to find one!! If you find one down there I’d definitely love to buy one!! Please let me know!! I no where there are a couple of them but they won’t sell or they are just completely rotted out and want way to much for something that everything would have to be replaced!! I also just so happened to notice that you said at the beginning of this video that this video was for me!! Thank you so much!!!! You said that you would like to travel the country with it and if you do and go threw Iowa I’m south of Des Moines right on I-35 I’d definitely love to get lots of my drool all over that pretty thing for sure!!! Awesome job Bryan!! I’m definitely a big fan of your build and it has definitely came a long ways from when you first got it!! They definitely take lots of time if you want them done Wright and of course lots of money!! I’ve got over 25,000.00 in mine over a 25 year period of time but it does have a completely new running gear!! What tranny did you say you was running in the blazer again??? I’m definitely a big big fan of the manual trannys but if I had to have an automatic it would definitely be a turbo 400!! Awesome build buddy and I’d definitely love to see plenty more of anything done to the blazer for sure!!! Remember keep up all the hard work buddy!!!

The blazer has a 3 speed converted to the floor. The shifter is made for a dirt track car. Its a dual lever style.
I like the th400 and I have one but. I think I’ll be putting a 700r4 in it. We want to put some miles on it. And the overdrive would be nice.
Not as good of a transmission but this isn’t a hotrod. Plus I already have a 4x4 700r.
I’m collecting parts now for steering and transmission swap.
Soon as I get the last few parts there will be more build videos. But I may take some videos of us enjoying it between now and then.
I would like $1800. For the roll cage in Florida, near tampa.

Personally not a fan of the lift but that engine/exhaust sounds great. Oh and the purple leaf springs are nice too

I absolutely would if it was a 4 speed but it’s a 3 speed on the column converted to the floor.
I can’t make a front driveshaft work with the Dana 20 transfer case 🤦♂️
