This is perfect for laymen such as myself, what was that sound bar in the first part? I keep looking for a sound bar or speaker with an optical port and I'm having the darndest time.
Hello, I'm thinking about buying a monitor which has 3.5mm jack i got the series S, so i was wondering if i could just buy some PC speakers and connect them to the monitor in order to get sound from my Xbox
I have a Polk sound bar linked up as you say using optical cable fine but now would like to add a better quality (Active ) subwoofer rather than the blue tooth Polk one is there a way to get another signal wire to Subwoofer ? Thanks for vid 👍
Thanks for asking. Each and every brand has their own way how to connect the soundbar to the subwoofer wirelessly (Bluetooth). If your new subwoofer is compatible with your Polk soundbar, (which I doubt it if it's different brand) then there would be no issue. But if you wish to connect it wired, your soundbar and subwoofer should have its dedicated input and output ports. But I would recommend to stay in your soundbars subwoofer. Otherwise sell it and buy a new high spec one. Doing a workaround might reduce the sound quality only.

What if my speaker just has a usb cable can I use that?
Thank you for asking. Unfortunately, Xbox does not support outputting audio through USB.
Hi how does a headphone with usb output work.
Xbox one s.

Do you know how to connect the original xbox to a sound bar? It ony has RCA cables. I can connect it to tv using the rca cables but can only hear it through the tv speakers, not the sound bar.
Please check the settings of your TV. There must be a settings to enable to speaker for audio out option.
@@RawlandUy It was just that. Something so simple....it's working now. Thanks!
@@1981luisdaniel thanks a lot. I'm very happy you like it.
Why are you using the original xbox? that thing came out in 2001, i played that back in 2003/2004. Been a long time. But anyways, great on you for playing it!

Hi sir. Just want to ask if this will work, a logitech usb powered speaker with 3.5 mm jack (usb will be plug in the back of the pc monitor) to a pc monitor, then hdmi cable of the xbox series x going to the pc monitor? Thanks
Just like to know what will be the purpose of the USB. Do you mean for the power supply of the speaker?
@@RawlandUy Yes sir that is for the power.

Anybody know how to connect the Audio Engine A2+ to a Xbox series x
You have seen my other video with the audio extractor. Please try the 3rd way.
So I used the optical cable and sound bar method. But still no sound. The monitor I have is not a tv but an actual monitor so no built in speakers or anything. I have it connected to the Xbox via hdmi. Then I have the optical cable plugged into the soundbar and the Xbox. I get picture but no sound. Help!
Please check the sound settings on the Xbox. Please try to set on "Optical Audio".
@@RawlandUy thank you I forgot to respond but that resolved the issue thank you!
Happy to help😊
There's some speakers that have a usb cable and a headphone's plug
For example the logitech z120
unfortunately, Xbox USB does not support audio.

Thanks a lot! I'm very glad you like it.
I have an Xbox plugged into my projector and a projector plugged into my speak no sound is coming out and I’ve tried everything I tried changing the setting on the Xbox but nothing seems to work can u help plz
Basically nothing to do with the Xbox settings. It basically involve only if the speakers you connect are compatible with Dolby etc. Please check the settings in your soundbar. The input should be the cable you are using.
After inputting the optical audio what are the settings
It's basically automatic. Or depending on the speaker you are using, it's usually having the option either optical, RCA, 3.5mm stereo, or Bluetooth. Just set on which connection you are using.
@@RawlandUy i’m playing on a monitor So there is naturally no sound so when I put the optical audio port in there is no difference
But which optical port you are referring to?
@@RawlandUy the one on my sound bar
Do you mean you connect your Xbox one to your soundbar using optical cable and there is no sound?
can i plug in headphones straight in the port
But please let me know at which port.
@@RawlandUy 3.5mm port- can i plug in a gaming headset into the 3.5mm port in the back of the console.
@@HanmaTime just plug ur headset into ur controller
@@HanmaTime no its not for audio.
When connecting with a 3,5mm to my speaker the sound is so low...
Did you plug it fully. I'm thinking maybe it's not inserted fully causing the connector not touching completely.

How to connect usb komplete audio sound card to Xbox to hear sound?

I'm on Xbox one S and I use a monitor
I use a monitor but sound doesn’t work
Does your monitor have built in speaker?
Super helpful
Thanks a lot. 'glad to help.
Optical doesn’t work just my simple plug and play
Why?
Make sure it's properly inserted to the port/s. Or make sure optical mode is set to your sound system.
Thank you very much ❤
You're very welcome. And thanks to you also for watching my videos.
What do you do when your monitor doesn’t have a 3.5 mm jack port ?
The choice is only the optical port in xbox. If your speaker has the 3.5mm port only. You just need to use the optical to 3.5mm port.
Thank you
You're most welcome!
What about HDMI?
If you want to use hdmi as the source of your audio, you can use a sound system which supports hdmi pass-through. Or alternatively, an hdmi audio extractor adapter.
usb speaker connect to xbox series x ?
Unfortunately Xbox's usb does not support audio on 3rd party devices. Only on licensed headset.
Thanks

my moniter doesnt have an audio output or at least a 3.5 jack
Then you will need the FiiO Taishan adapter. In that way you can use a cable with 3.5mm jack. But if your speaker has an optical port also, you can use the optical cable as well directly from the xbox.
Tv with bluetooth no problem paring no cable no problem
Yes. This is the more getting popular now. Most of the Bluetooth transmitters advertised more from TV instead of consoles.
