    Hey mate! My tv hasn't got an aux out. Only optical toslink out. So i have one "toslink to mini toslink" cable and one "aux to aux" cable. Which product should i buy in order to use my speaker with TV ?

      What ports does your sound system have? My channel should have an “optical to X” video - the type you need.

    Hello there!
    Great video!
    I have a question though. I have an old TV (not smart TV) its Samsung model LE32B355F1W. Also am using Google Chromecast (the version before the most new one) so I use RUclips and Spotify with my phone, changing the volume by my phone. I am trying to make the sound come out of Harman/Kardon Onyx Studio 4 speakers instead of the TV's speakers and tried connecting the external speaker to the tv (I have changed the tv settings to external speaker) but the only option I seem to have that says "out(put)" is "DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (OPTIONAL)" and it has a sus lid and glowing red light inside it. The aux does'nt suit in there though but I can't see what It's supposed to sit in there. As for my Harman/Kardon speaker, the only things it says on the back is "service" (micro usb or the one that was mainstream before usb c) then "aux" and then there is "power" but we can skip that one immediately.. 🥴 Is there still a chance for this to work? Playing the sound out of the Harman/Kardon speaker but still using Google Chromecast with phone, playing the videos on the TV?
    I am trying to think about what you said, comes in through one source then out in another. Across. But the logical thinking in my head with this topic is 404. There's three devices (external speaker, tv and cellphone), one too much for my head lol. Please help, Sir

    Pls if the TV has only headset port and no AUX in/out, what cable would be needed to connect it to a soundbar?

    • @SimpleCafeE
      @SimpleCafeE  7 месяцев назад

      if the headset port is 3.5mm (headphone jack) that's Aux.

    I have an older tv that has hdmi, rca, and usb, but no optical. Im trying to use a converter on a soundbar that does not have hdmi, but it has rca Optical and USB. How do I hook it up?

    • @SimpleCafeE
      @SimpleCafeE  Год назад

      Hi Shavona, it all depends if your Tv has the ability to put audio out via those ports/connectors. I know you said it has hdmi, rca and usb. HDMI AND RCA could work to send audio out so long as they’re labeled OUT and not In.

    Trying to connect a Polk powered subwoofer to either the TV or the Polk soundbar. Do I even need a receiver for this if the Sub is powered? Soundbar has the AUX port but it probably is an IN Aux port. I even tried a AUX plug into the aux RCA plug on the receiver. Or should I try directly to the Sub. Again the AUX on the soundbar is likely IN and not OUT. Best scenario Sub directly to TV? Can't do Optical on TV as it will default to the optic and have n sound on the bar. I am checking for an AUX on the TV and RCS but likely all are IN. How about a HDMI converter to RCA or AUX? HELP!!

      if the sub is powered you're right about not needing a receiver (which provide amplification/power). Is optical the only audio out option your tv has? if so, get a DAC to plug in from tv to soundbar/subwoofer. this vid might help ruclips.net/video/uVPzH69jQ9w/видео.html

    when i connect my tv to soundbar using aux cable but only two speakers not working only one is worked my soundbar is 5.1 channel.. Plz reply. What can i do for this issue

    • @SimpleCafeE
      @SimpleCafeE  5 месяцев назад

      Two should be working. Unless something is wrong with the cable or the speaker itself. Did you try another cable? In the end, with aux you won’t get 5 audio channels. Just 2.
