What a dream! One day I shall ride through there! Man your videos are great! Personable, entertaining, beautifully shot, and looking at your Bonnie is always a treat! Keep it up
The first thing i noticed on arrival in los gigantes was the building works in the cliff face couldn't believe how high up they were, Thanks and all the best.
My Father in Law was living in Tenerife beside Los Gigantes and he fed those fish and he was told by a local they are inedible so that's why there are lots of them and they get so big. Love your videos Freddie and my father in law is a big fan too. Keep up the great vlogs 👍 love seeing places we have been to in your vlogs😊.
Love Los Gigantes, just too hilly for me these days as my legs are knackered. Got loads of photos from that viewpoint you stopped at, pity it was became much more of a photographer, great little coffee shop too
Great video Freddie. We used to holiday in Los Gigantes all the time. It is a beautiful place. So easy going and laid back. The memories came flooding back. Many thanks.
Fantastic video! I believe the excaliber is styled after a 20's Mercedes SSK, they were manufactured on a studebaker platform and sold as excaliber for a few decades.
Ah the memories. Ron miel was our equivalent of Calpol as kids. Little tot for a cough or sore throat. Nice in coffee too. Must say thanks though Freddie, you and Monica have given my wife and I the enthusiasm to go exploring more of the island that has change and even parts I didn't know we're there! Shows you can live and grow up somewhere, and never know everything about a place. Thanks ;-)
Great video Freddie and what beautiful place, just stunning, your videos are just what we all need to see, they make you forget all the bad in the world and realise that there are still some amazing places to visit and kind people too, you are both certainly living the dream Freddie so just enjoy every moment, after all life isn't a trial run, you only come this way once😊 good luck to you both and I look forward to the next video👍
you are doing such a great job of showcasing all these places - you should be the Tourism minister - Great footage as usual Sir...Fantastic!!!! - All those cars and bikes - wow!!!!
Fantastic...love what you and Monica are doing....you only live once so enjoy it while you are able to...feeling quite envious if am honest ...good luck to you both
Excalibur used to be a Milwaukee, WI based car manufacturer (my home state!) Ties in nicely with your motorbike themed channel with Harley Davidson head quartered in Milwaukee! Love your content!
What a beautiful town, so many different places to visit, you are really doing Tenerife a good service Freddie with your rides out, I'd love to get back out there, if for nothing else than some sun, which I'm so missing at the moment. Great video.
Thanks Dale! It’s a very nice town- especially so for long term rents I think, as it’s got a very nice calm atmosphere🙂👌🏻 I’d be feeling the same- three months of really dreadful weather left in the UK!🇬🇧🌧
Thanks for another great vlog, we stayed in Los Gigantes in Dec, it's a lovely spot, we also visited some of the small towns & villages you had been to, look forward to some more new places. We also really enjoyed the La Gomera vlogs 👍😎
Sit out in the back of the cafe and have a snack, been in there lots of times. The exhibits change from time to time. We used to walk there from Los Gigs and get the bus back, it’s a lovely walk on the coast path. Look up videos of walking to El Bujero - Betcha don’t do that! The ‘apartments’ at the very top left is a hotel.
Thank you for sharing! Had a holiday there quite a few years ago. Its a quiet corner and a very nice place. Really enjoying the vids, thank you! Take care and ride safe mate 😊🖖🏽
This is very interesting, thanks Paul! I’ve tried researching and have found a few different theories on Excaliber- I’d have never guessed the Mondeo could be an option, but I’ve just seen that pop up online too!😳
I love your videos, as a Tenerife's native I thank you for the way you show all the things and places where you go. I remember in my youth that beach was only black sand, It had not stones, It used to be one of the best beaches in Tenerife, it is a shame seeng it with a lot of stones on it
Another great video with more beautiful scenery. Blue sky over London today, off out on the bike but its only 7°C here. A super collection of cars and bikes in the service station, my favourite the MGB Roadster. 😉
Beautiful part of the islands, our last holiday abroad was there (before Covid19 changed the world) in September 2019, we stayed two weeks in Hotel Los Gigantes with amazing views. Just watching this has put me in the notion to cancel our reservation this year staying in Ireland and get back out there. We even got to practice sanitising going in and out of the hotel, cafes, shops etc on that holiday as there had been a virus of some kind in the town since the start of summer 2019.
Great video … been to “the Giants a few times myself, always wonderful to walk around the pueblo and the alcohol store also sells local herbal drinks great for colds etc .. keep up the good videos …
Love the show in the filling station. I once owned a Kawasaki Z1300. Also a Honda CBX1000 six cylinder. Now downsized to a Kawasaki KZ1000P, California highway patrol bike, (Chip's).

UK cars were usually based on the old rear wheel drive escorts (MK2) but obviously you have a Pug version there. Either that or it's an Eagle, both sold around the same time. The Morgan-type car at the back inside the services might be a Moss kit car? Not cheap as far as kits go but still way less than a genuine Morgan. 😎
Wish we had the same weather over here in the UK Freddie, really missing the dry roads and sun at the mo! Those are both kit cars, the one is Morgan in style. Enjoying the vids 👍
Another wonderful video. Can I please make a request. Some of the music tracks you have been playing on your videos is really very good. But you do not mention who it is in your description. Either that or I am just missing it, and my Shazam music finder app is not finding it either. Would you please tell us who the music artists are and the name of the track. Thank you.

I was wondering if the Z1300 sold well when new! It’s turned into s desirable classic now from what I’ve seen😳 I couldn’t figure out what the Model A was- thanks for confirming!🙂🚗

Fantastic, thank you!🙂🙌🏻🚗🚗 We have considered permanently relocating here- it’s still an option, although possibly mainland Spain next! Although we still haven’t managed to decide where to next- and we’ve been thinking a lot about it but still can’t decide!😆
That service station was amazing and I really want an Excalibur car now. When I saw you walk back with the ice creams I assumed the dainty pink one was for Monika 🤣
That Excalibur was a very memorable car- very bold styling! I unfortunately am the kind of person that eats doughnuts with s knife and fork (weird and pathetic, I know!🤣)- so the pink ice cream was definitely mine😆
I was last in Gigantes 28 years ago and I remember the fish well. They are I believe mullet and hard to catch as they have soft mouths. They also seem to like dirty water like marinas.

Great video. By the way, these fish in the harbour are not allowed to be fished. They have fled from the big fish in the open sea to avoid being eaten.
Our marina (La Rochelle, France) has a large population of grey mullet, they are constantly eating the growth on the hulls and pontoons. A sure sign the water is not polluted. I guess they are avoiding the predators in the bay, especially the resident dolphins.

Hi Monica
Seriously do you even give a crap about the old cars and bikes? 🤣🤣
Well spotted and to answer for Monika- very very rarely!🤣
@@FreddieDobbs was just kidding keep up the good work!
Great video. By the way, these fish in the harbour are not allowed to be fished. They have fled from the big fish in the open sea to avoid being eaten.
Wow! Thanks for sharing this Geri🙂
Our marina (La Rochelle, France) has a large population of grey mullet, they are constantly eating the growth on the hulls and pontoons. A sure sign the water is not polluted. I guess they are avoiding the predators in the bay, especially the resident dolphins.
Good for them!
@@russcattell955i Really interesting- so a great sign to see them in the marina- both for the boats and water cleanliness🙂
canarian, not canadian
