Can someone please explain to me why I would want my on stage sound to be independent of the FOH? Isn't it best to be getting back in the monitor exactly what is coming from the house system?
Get the sansamp, cheaper used and iconic for being one of the best pre-amp di pedals for bass ever. But this looks like a good competitor, however since your new your better getting a good combo.
FynnFTW Do you know many new people who start off with an ampeg, warwick, phil jones, aguilar and such? Combos are recommended for beginners because why would you spend big bucks for a medium to big rig and possibly give up? Not saying you shouldn’t get a decent amp and cab but Ive tried lots of “budget” bass amps and cabs and saw nothing worth other than more back breaking labor (aside from the Trace Eliot Elf which is pretty good for beginners). Plus combos are very good right now, you could get a better medium tier bass combo with actually good tone versus a limiting bass amp and mediocre cab. Orange had a bass combo that is damn good for the money, and is easy to move about
Sounds like something Boris would use. Not my type but it goes hard.
Wow!! Count me in.
Just when I was getting ready to buy a dp3x.

To monitor your playing. You probably want to hear yourself slightly louder than the other instruments.
Does anyone know the price? I can’t find it online
American Musical Supply has it listed for preorder at $399.00
Russell Chebahtah I’m going have to bite the bullet and get one!
Would this be good for a beginner bass player? And I’m asking anyone

@@fireemblemistrash75 Well, being new doesnt mean you need a combo.

Or, an A/B pedal and two amps? Not seeing how this does anything new.
For those of us too broke to afford two amps.
Being able to run that into a desk and then monitor the whole thing in the mix via in-ear phones is a useful option to have.
Thicc
$400 for that? Shit.
It worth it I think. I don't have it but it is pretty complex
