    What's with the baseball, Sinix also had a video about animation in 2017 (i think)/ You teach throwing part, he taught hitting a home run, it would be fun to see them merged)
    P.s. btw dude take me on your team you won't regret this xD

    Thank you! One question: Why do you divide the action into thirds and sixths? As opposed to another fraction?

    • @moderndayjames
      @moderndayjames  2 года назад +4

      So this was to capture the feeling I was looking for. In the sixths example, the beginning part of the throw was done by 1/6th of the arc and then 4/6ths of the arc was covered in one frame, with the final 1/6th to ease into the final pose.
      Dividing it this way allowed me to have a little padding at the end while covering a big distance.
      You can divide your charts however you want though and I definitely suggest trying a bunch out

    when he stands and throw, the core does not look right.

Also, I know a lot of non art schools provide fine art, digital media, or film but I don't know which of the three would be most useful. Btw I love learning these kind of things they are so useful so thank you so much!

    Hell yeah! I'm un-sarcastically happy you got the opportunity to sell out to Raid: Shadow Legends. You deserve that crappy p2W game money.
    Are you doing any mentorship/patreon stuff at all anymore? I'm chowing down on the gumroads again but wondering if there's any way to get feedback.
    Keep it up! Thanks for everything you put out.

    • @0ia
      @0ia 2 года назад +1

      I think a counterpoint to being happy about a RUclipsr receiving lots of money from that is the fact that it works; it kind of preys on a certain vulnerable type of person and that's a reason how Raid can pay so much. The more sponsors, the more vulnerable people reached. There are of course people less vulnerable reached who won't spend as much, but if they were the only target, then Raid would not pay as much.
      (I am not necessarily against it; I think this is just something to keep in mind.)

    • @americancheese7383
      @americancheese7383 2 года назад +1

      @@0ia I'd argue people are stuck being sponsored by things like Raid Shadow Legends because artists are notoriously cheap and do not support the people they are learning from. If beginners actually supported artists in teaching positions we'd all be better off.

    • @0ia
      @0ia 2 года назад

      @@americancheese7383 That's interesting. There is also the opposite stereotype; the beginner who buys everything they can - the best pens, software, etc. Even if they don't practice.
      I have no idea how common either extreme is.
