    God destroys no man. Everyone who is destroyed will have destroyed himself. Everyone who stifles the admonitions of conscience is sowing the seeds of unbelief, and these will produce a sure harvest. By rejecting the first warning from God, Pharaoh of old sowed the seeds of obstinacy, and he reaped obstinacy. God did not compel him to disbelieve. The seed of unbelief which he sowed produced a harvest of its kind. Thus his resistance continued, until he looked upon his devastated land, upon the cold, dead form of his first-born, and the first-born of all in his house and of all the families in his kingdom, until the waters of the sea closed over his horses and his chariots and his men of war. His history is a fearful illustration of the truth of the words that “whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Galatians 6:7. Did men but realize this, they would be careful what seed they sow. - {COL 84.4}

Amen on this beautiful quotes you put
Yes, God is love but very just. God is merciful just and justly merciful. But, let's look at a balanced view of God's wrath.
“The disobedient and unthankful have great reason for gratitude for God’s mercy and long-suffering in holding in check the cruel, malignant power of the evil one. But when men pass the limits of divine forbearance, that restraint is removed. God does not stand toward the sinner as an executioner of the sentence against transgression; but He leaves the rejectors of His mercy to themselves, to reap that which they have sown.” The Great Controversy, 36.
In this statement, God does not stand toward the sinner as an executioner of the sentence against transgression, but He leads the rejecters of His mercy to themselves to reap that which they have sown. Some people say, regarding this teaching, that God does not really kill. But what God does is pull Himself away and allow the sinner, the rebellious person, to be destroyed by his or her own action.
Consider these questions: Is it not a fact that God is the source of all life? Is it not His restraining power that holds the force of evil, that gives us protection? Furthermore, is it not God who temporarily grants self-destructive sinners life in probationary time? The answer to each of these questions should be very clear to each one of us.
Does it not seem that God would be just as surely responsible for the death of sinners by the withdrawing of His life-giving power as He would by indirectly destroying them by the powers of hell? Since God is the source of all life, it is quite apparent that He is also ultimately the One who allows death.
We need to be very clear on this issue so that we are not sidetracked onto a path that the Bible does not support.
Was the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah simply the chance circumstance of atmospheric condition? Is it just that the atmosphere opened up and fire and brimstone rained down? Is that what the Bible says?
    Ellen White states:
“The Lord rained brimstone and fire out of heaven upon the cities and the fruitful plain; its palaces and temples, costly dwellings, gardens and vineyards, and the gay, pleasure-seeking throngs that only the night before had insulted the messengers of heaven-all were consumed.” Patriarchs and Prophets, 162.
So, both the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy make it abundantly clear that it was God who carried out His strange act.
Also, was the judgment of God on Korah, Dathan, and Abiram only a tragedy of a long dormant, Semitic, geographical fault line in the Sahara Desert? No, it was not. Please read Numbers 16:23-35
It was not an event that coincided with their behavior and just happened, whereby the earth opened up and the men fell in.
Commenting about this, Ellen White wrote:
“When Moses was entreating Israel to flee from the coming destruction, the divine judgment might even then have been stayed, if Korah and his company had repented and sought forgiveness. But their stubborn persistence sealed their doom. The entire congregation were sharers in their guilt, for all had, to a greater or less degree, sympathized with them. Yet God in His great mercy made a distinction between the leaders in rebellion and those whom they had led.” Patriarchs and Prophets, 401
This is so serious and so solemn for leaders to understand the part that they must play in the program of God. They must understand their position, because God will deal differently with them than even their followers.
“The people who had permitted themselves to be deceived were still granted space for repentance. Overwhelming evidence had been given that they were wrong, and that Moses was right. The signal manifestation of God’s power had removed all uncertainty.” Ibid.
Ellen White called their death the divine judgment and the signal manifestation of God’s power. It was not a geographical fault line that just opened, and they fell in and died. No, it was the divine wrath. Why? There was persistence in evil; failure to repent when evidence was given of wrong. Is that a message for us?
What God will do first of all is place us into an environment where we are rebuked and chastened. Sometimes God allows certain things to happen in our lives for which we are tempted to blame other people. When certain things happen to us, which is really the chastisement of God on us for our private sins about which no one else knows, we are tempted to blame other people. But if we stop and reflect honestly, we would conclude that it is out of the love and mercy of God that these circumstances happen to us.
Peradventure this chastisement, this rebuke, this trial, should bring us closer to God. But what do we do? We blame others; we fail to take responsibility; we fail to repent. As a result, God says, “You fail to repent, but in love, I am going to deal with you a little more.” So He turns up the heat, and He allows more affliction to come our way. He does this not because He hates us, not because He wants to hurt us, for the Bible says that the Lord does not willingly afflict the children of men (Lamentations 3:33), but because He sees in us vessels that can be made of honor to be placed in His palace.
So He allows other things to come our way to get our attention concerning those sins with which we are not yet ready to deal. Rather than blaming others, we should stop and honestly take responsibility for our sin problems and then resolve in our hearts that we are going to make a change. Until we do this, we are moving in a direction that may take us out of the environment of the chastening of God to the environment of the wrath of God.
Now, please consider this powerful quote:
"Moses commanded the men of war to destroy the women and male children. Balaam had sold the children of Israel for a reward,
and he perished with the people whose favor he had obtained at the sacrif i ce of twenty-four thousand of the Israelites.
The Lord is regarded as cruel by many in requiring His people to make war with other nations. They say that it is contrary to His benevolent character.
But He who made the world, and formed man to dwell upon the earth, has unlimited
control over all the works of His hands, and it is His right to do as He pleases, and what He pleases with the work of His hands. Man has no right to say to his Maker, Why doest Thou thus? There is no injustice in His character. He is the Ruler of the world, and a large portion of His subjects have rebelled against His authority, and have trampled upon His law. He has bestowed upon them liberal blessings,
and surrounded them with everything needful, yet they have bowed to images of
wood and stone, silver and gold, which their own hands have made. They teach their children that these are the Gods that give them life and health, and make their lands fruitful, and give them riches and honor. They scorn the God of Israel. They despise His people, because their works are righteous. “The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works” (Psalm 14:1).
God has borne with them until they f i lled up the measure of their iniquity, and then He has brought upon them swift destruction. He has used His people as instruments of His wrath, to punish wicked nations, who have vexed them, and seduced them into idolatry.
A family picture was presented before me. A part of the children seem anxious to learn and obey the requirements of the father, while the others trample upon his authority, and seem to exult in showing contempt of his family government. They share the benef i ts of their father’s house, and are constantly receiving of his bounty.
They are wholly dependent upon him for all they receive, yet are not grateful, but conduct themselves proudly, as though all the favors they received of their indulgent parent were supplied by themselves. The father notices all the disrespectful acts of his disobedient, ungrateful children, yet he bears with them.
At length, these rebellious children go still further, and seek to inf l uence and lead to rebellion those members of their father’s family who have hitherto been faithful.
Then all the dignity and authority of the father is called into action, and he expels from his house the rebellious children, who have not only abused his love and blessings themselves, but tried to subvert the remaining few who had submitted to the wise and judicious laws of their father’s household. For the sake of the few who are loyal, whose happiness was exposed to the seditious inf l uence of the rebellious members of his household, he separates from his family his undutiful children, while at the same time he labors to bring closer to himself the remaining faithful and loyal ones. All would honor the wise and just course of such a parent, in punishing most severely his undutiful, rebellious children.
God has dealt thus with His children. But man, in his blindness, will overlook the abominations of the ungodly, and pass by unnoticed the continual ingratitude and rebellion and heaven-daring sins of those who trample upon God’s law and defy His authority. They do not stop here, but exult in subverting His people, and influencing them by their wiles to transgress and show open contempt for the wise requirements of Jehovah.
    Some can see only the destruction of God’s enemies, which looks to them unmerciful and severe. They do not look upon the other side. But let everlasting thanks be given, that impulsive, changeable man, with all his boasted benevolence, is not the disposer and controller of events. “The tender mercies of the wicked are cruel” (Proverbs 12:10).-{Spiritual Gifts 4a:49-52}

Do you remember what happened with Uzzah?
For his lifetime, he kept on disregarding the Word of God. In spite of counsel and instruction, he kept on disregarding the Word of God, and one day, God drew the line. Yes, it was a simple situation. The ark rocked, and he was going to help the Lord. Not only did he die, but he lost eternity. He will not see us in heaven.
This is a counsel and a warning to all of God’s people. Let us be honest with ourselves. Let us search our hearts, and let us see if indeed there are secret sins in us that we have been denying for years, or for which we are blaming others, refusing to take responsibility. God has been going after us in love in order that He might save us.
Do you remember the story of Ananias and Sapphira given in Acts 5:1-11? Were their deaths only timely coronaries? God’s messenger wrote:
“Infinite Wisdom saw that this signal manifestation of the wrath of God was necessary to guard the young church from becoming demoralized. Their numbers were rapidly increasing. The church would have been endangered if, in the rapid increase of converts, men and women had been added who, while professing to serve God, were worshiping mammon. This judgment testified that men cannot deceive God, that He detects the hidden sin of the heart, and that He will not be mocked. It was designed as a warning to the church, to lead them to avoid pretence and hypocrisy, and to beware of robbing God.” The Acts of the Apostles, 73, 74.
The deaths of Ananias and Sapphira were the signal manifestation of the wrath of God. Thus, Christians, as well as unbelievers, need to remember that the same God who punishes them today condemns all falsehood.
Hidden sins are destroying our church today-those sins that we have not learned to confess, that we have been hiding and denying, and for which we are not taking responsibility. God has been working on us, but we have become hardened as we continue denying that we have these problems. One of the most surprising things is that church members will blame other people for their behavior, even in the face of evidence. They do not realize that God wants to help them.
We need to understand this issue of God killing unjustly, so was the cross a manifestation of God’s holy wrath against sin, or was the cross only to demonstrate God’s love to us as sinners? It was not just a reflection of God’s love; it was also a reflection of God’s wrath.
“Upon Christ as our substitute and surety was laid the iniquity of us all...The guilt of every descendant of Adam was pressing upon His heart. The wrath of God against sin, the terrible manifestation of His displeasure because of iniquity, filled the soul of His Son with consternation...Salvation for the chief of sinners was His theme. But now with the terrible weight of guilt He bears, He cannot see the Father’s reconciling face...Christ felt the anguish which the sinner will feel when mercy shall no longer plead for the guilty race.” The Desire of Ages, 753.
When Christ died on the cross, He did it for every human being, so that we can be set free, so we can escape the wrath of God. Whoever turns his or her back against the love and the wonderful service of Christ, however, will experience the full wrath of God.
“It was the sense of sin, bringing the Father’s wrath upon Him as man’s substitute, that made the cup He drank so bitter, and broke the heart of the Son of God.” Ibid.
“He, the Sin Bearer, endures the wrath of divine justice, and for thy sake becomes sin itself.” Ibid., 756.
Another question we need to have answered is, Is God’s wrath active or passive? Some people think God is such a wonderful God that He will not discipline.
“As Christ bore the sins of every transgressor so the sinner who will not believe in Christ as his personal Saviour, who rejects the light that comes to him, and refuses to respect and obey the commandments of God, will bear the penalty of his transgression.” “Ellen G. White Comments,” Bible Commentary, vol. 7, 471.
The choice is ours; we can accept the gift that is offered now and be delivered.
I am not talking about a God that does not love; I am talking about a God of love Who has provided a way of escape for all of us. We need to understand that if we despise the grace of God, as Paul says, in Hebrews 2:3,
“How shall we escape?” How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation after we have received all of this information, knowledge, and nurturing? How shall we escape if we fail to take responsibility?
Rejection of God’s offer of life through the justifying merits of Christ’s death will mean only eternal death. If we reject Christ, we are accepting death. Without Christ’s substitutional death, sinners will receive just retribution.
Therefore, we may ask, Will the lake of fire be merely a passive act on God’s part? David declares in Psalm 11:6, “Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire, and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: [this shall be] the portion of their cup.”
It is not an imagination; it is a reality. The prophet Malachi prophesied of the future destruction of the despisers of God’s grace in Malachi 4:1, 2, and the apostle Peter confirms the destruction of the earth in 2 Peter 3:10.
      Ellen White says,
“God is to the wicked a consuming fire.” The Great Controversy, 673.
"The Israelites stand as a reminder of the awesome reality of the certainty of Jehovah’s wrath upon all those who reject the offer of salvation. They reached the borders of Canaan, the promised land, and the record declares, “Their hearts were filled with murmuring, rebellion, and hatred, and He could not fulfill His covenant with them.” Selected Messages, Book 1, 68.
What is the condition of our hearts? There are many private issues in our hearts. It is not the smile that you put on; it is not the nice talk; it is what is inside. It is how we treat each other. It is the issues and the private sins that are there-the murmuring, the complaining, the never satisfied attitude, the ingratitude.
For 40 years, unbelief, murmuring, and rebellion shut out ancient Israel from the land of Canaan. The same sins have delayed the entrance of modern Israel into the heavenly Canaan. As Moses and the children of Israel stood on the promised land, Moses well remembered the words of judgment that Jehovah had pronounced sometime before to the children of Israel because of their rebellious attitude and being stiff necked. (See Numbers 14:29-32.)
For us who are living on the borders of the eternal Canaan, it would do us well to ponder the words of the prophet of Patmos:
“And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.” Revelation 7:1-3.
Are you being sealed? In other words, are you preparing yourself through character formation, working with God daily, and getting rid of those private sins in your life, so that the angel can do his job of sealing you so that you can be among the number that stand on the sea of glass? My prayer is that when it is all said and done, you and I will not experience the wrath of God, but that we will accept His chastening. As James says,
“Count it all joy when you fall into various trials” (James 1:2), because they are designed for our benefit.
      God bless you all 🙏

Thank you for those quotes and sound reasonings. The God we serve takes responsibility over his children, and will act to protect the faithful against the wicked. Those who claim that to take life is somehow against His character are really attacking His fatherly authority and even His righteousness. If he didn't take action himself to destroy the wicked, this would call His righteousness into question.

Thank you for the lovely message. I started attending a church in August 2020 that teaches this God doesn't kill message. This false teaching (moral influence theory/"God doesn't kill) seems attractive, but it isn't biblical. The most important question that the believers of this theory can't seem to answer, is the resurrection of the lost. After the 1000 years, what is the purpose for resurrection of the lost? (is what I typically ask). I have heard some say to give them another opportunity to repent and enter the city and be saved. However there can't be an chance of repentance without the presence of the Holy Spirit. When you remove the element of justice from the character of YHWH, this resurrection of the lost would be a unloving act. From the moral influence theory point of view the resurrection of the lost would be an unloving act as YHWH knows that these people will die from either sin, satan, the all consuming fire that is YHWH, or whatever reason that these people get destroyed (this again wouldn't be biblical).

Is this the quote that you spoke of in the video that you said you couldn’t find bro Tom Pinto?
Worldly wisdom teaches that prayer is not essential. Men of science claim that there can be no real answer to prayer; that this would be a violation of law, a miracle, and that miracles have no existence. The universe, say they, is governed by fixed laws, and God Himself does nothing contrary to these laws. Thus they represent God as bound by His own laws-as if the operation of divine laws could exclude divine freedom. Such teaching is opposed to the testimony of the Scriptures. Were not miracles wrought by Christ and His apostles? The same compassionate Saviour lives today, and He is as willing to listen to the prayer of faith as when He walked visibly among men. - Pr 60.3

Since then I stopped watching that preacher. I know what Romans 6 , 23 says but I don't agree with the pastor's view.

In Genesis 1:26, God said, “Let us make man in Our image according to Our likeness.” Human is a three-part being; we have a soul, body and spirit. And since we are created in His likeness, God is also the same. He has a Soul, a Body and a Spirit.
As what I learned before from my Pastor, our soul is our mind, will and emotion. Every move of our body depends on what our minds dictates to us; how we move the parts of our body, how our food taste, etc - it all comes from our mind.
Jesus said in John 5:19 (NKJV), “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.” Jesus always depends on the Father, on what He sees or hears from Him. Therefore, the Father is the Soul whom all Jesus works depends from. And Jesus is the Body because He is the One who do the works like the speaking to the Creation, to come to the world and died on the Cross, etc. and He has also the Holy Spirit who now lives on His chosen people.
The whole Being of God was involved in the creation of the World. The thought or the idea is the from the Father, the Son is the One who speaks to the creation and the Holy Spirit is the One who was hovering over the face of the waters (Revelation 1:2). God was also complete in His 3-parts Being when He died on the Cross because it needs a perfect sacrifice to save us from our sins and only God is perfect.
I hope that you understand now how precious and powerful is the Blood that was shed for us on that Cross. This is His unconditional Love for us but we only receive it if we accept it and receive it with reverential fear, that we start to hate what brought Him to the Cross which is our sins. And if we love Him, we will do His Commandments and His Law will always be in our mouth and in our hearts.
Hallelujah! All praises, honor and glory belong to You, my King Jesus! Maranatha! Come my King Jesus, come! Amen! #IStandForTheTruth #IstandforJesus

Blessings~ please consider……Dear friends….God does not break His law nor direct men to do it. In fact He says the opposite. It is not just to slaughter and rip apart men women and little babies….God never uses force nor directed men to kill their enemy. The Destroyer, liar and murderer from the beginning, is well defined. His Precious Son came to show us the Father, & that well He did. What we see in the life of Jesus and what we receive every moment IS life. SIN destroys not Father. In incredible sorrow Father removes the hand of mercy when He is rejected time and again. Then the door is open for Satan & His cohorts.
Hebrews had the veil & wrote as they saw God-just as the pagans, one who must be appeased & kill enemies. Their ancient words for Gods “anger” and such is well defined in original context & using millers rules for study-comparing word and verse to others. Did Saul get killed by God as it says? Or later it tells us Saul committed suicide by falling on his sword. God uses the mirror principle to let man see whats in his heart, such as hatred & murderering “enemies” yet Jesus told and showed us how the Father of the New Testament -is God of the Old T different? No!. Please keep researching & praying, & the veil can be removed. God is justice. But He doesnt use Satans tactics. With love~

Dear sister, I mean no disrespect, but we would not consider for a moment that God does not take life. There are too many passages that plainly state that God takes life, for example:
Psa 145:20 The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but *all the wicked will he destroy.*
Deu 32:39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: *I kill* , and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
'The second death' after the judgment God takes special responsibility for:
Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: *and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.*
To say that God leaves this 'strange act' up to his enemies is to do great insult to His righteous character, for it suggests that he is too weak to take the responsibility upon Himself. He created man, therefore it is His prerogative alone to destroy the unrepentant.
When the Bible says 'fear God' it means we should fear Him! Jesus explains the reason why we should fear Him:
Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather *fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.*
According to the teaching 'God does not kill' we have more to fear from the devil than God.
Of course our God is merciful and long-suffering, and we should serve him out of love, but that in no wise means he will not destroy us Himself if we rebel against Him and do harm to His creatures. The truth is balanced.

Dear Sister Jules. I have seen some good comments from you in the past. Thank you for writing them.
I didn't mention in the talk that there are many ways peoples lives are taken. Sometime left to their own devices people perish because of their own wrongs. Sometimes satan is allowed to take life. Sometimes people give up and commit suicide. But the examples I put forward in the talk, are all examples of where God directly took human life. I believe the evidence provided for this was plain.
Thank you for your admonishment to continue to search. We do this constantly and are always open to new light. I offer a prayer for you to do the same also.
There is no disputing the goodness of God. I think we can all agree on this. But "why" life is taken by God, needs to be understood. When we understand that correctly, we will see the love of God even more powerfully. This is my hope for those that have been misled by the false teaching of "God does not kill".
I pray for Gods blessing upon you and yours
      Sincerely tom

Does Jesus take life? Did Jesus say we should destroy the wicked? I think there is a huge misunderstanding of what the "god" identified in the old testament and the heavenly Father of Jesus is.

@KellyDavid progressive garbage. Have you read Jeremiah and Isaiah. GOD is holy , just and loving. Forgot about JESUS whipping the merchants in the temple. Forgot that he called Pharisees vipers

@@kellydavid7408 I honestly hear what you're saying. It has troubled me as well. Reread it. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal(and it will). God is just. Man is corrupt.
