WOW, thank you very much for your video and featuring our both channels. You have watched ALL my videos??? I haven't even done that, hahaha. Excellent summary (quite hard to make short videos, right). The car is great and I love driving it every day. I think the plugin-hybrid is a bridging technology until we all drive full electric. That's why I want Mitsubishi to fix the problem and succeed with this technology. It's a bit of hard work but it seems like they are listening now and we've got their attention. I hope for the best. Thanks again very much and stay charged!
Thanks Andy. And that is exactly why I got one. It is a bridge. When I'm done with the PHEV, in a lot of years I suspect, I'm hoping battery technology will have developed to make full electric more viable than today. Keep up the good worK!!
Hello from a fellow PHEV owner in the UK! Great video and sharing the same gratitude to Andy and Gary for all their awesome videos (although Andy has the awesome Tesla now ... ) - just wondering what the latest is from your car? I’ve started the ball moving with my dealership. Hope you’re keeping Safe!
Great video, good to see a perspective from someone else in the UK. I'm possibly thinking of a phev but watching Gary and Andy's videos especially recently the issues with the battery are a big concern. Can I ask are you still at 95% capacity or has your dropped more since this video?also is 22miles of ev range about average or does it change depending on weather or driving style etc??I've seen some posts where people in UK have had 30+ miles on ev range from start up after charging. Thanks, James.
Hi James. This car is amazing. Superb drive, excellent engineering, brilliant fuel economy. I have no regrets. The battery is a real issue though. I'm down to 90% now. I have an issue logged with MM UK and the car goes in next week. If the problem is not fixed then new battery time under warranty!
@@Edifred2007 any idea what they plan to do when it goes in? Will it have the triple procedure done or is it just plugging in at this stage to see the current state of your car?
@@jamesthomas8791 Its the second time. The first was to download data. Then it was reviewed by technicians (local dealer is clueless on batteries - most of them are). They said a smoothing procedure was needed and that is what it is going in for. frankly I'm not hopeful that it will fix anything as such, but have to go through the motions. The problem with the PHEV is that in every other respect t it is a brilliant car. Nothing else like it at present.
@@Edifred2007 be interesting to know how you get on and if it offers a permanent solution to the battery problem. I wonder if having this procedure done could be used as leverage during discussions before purchasing a phev?!

@@jamesthomas8791 I think there is nothing new about this procedure. But perhaps I'll make a vid after the procedure. See how it goes.
