@@johnnybegood7725 Not quite. No.
In the year 2000 the thought of a electric car that could be performance and travel more than 100 miles was laughed at as a fairy tale. Now no one is laughing. Hydrogen is NEW and the technology is developing fast along with all the nay sayers saying this won't work. Hydrogen cars fuel in a few minutes. Teslas .. almost an hour. I much rather be driving.
’m here to tell you that that is not Gods revelation, obviously you have been mislead , I go by
What the bible teaches and the bible does not teach of hell fire ,

So don’t you get it
Jesus is going to hand back the kingdom to God
This is the future not crappy electric cars.
I think technology will advance and hydrogen powered vehicles will become practical and economically viable. And the technology and the process for producing hydrogen will be truly green. Even the technology for producing lithium ion batteries isn't green either .
Yes that's right. Thank you
Same argument for producing lithium ion batteries, it's the infrastructure that's not green not that actual production of the batteries
Are you sure?! As batteries can be recycled while hydrogen fuel cells uses resources and used up a lot of energy just to produce hydrogen 😂
It will only be an option if it can be made “economically viable”. Ask Nikola Tesla.
The water powered car has already been invented, they just buried the invention and killed the inventor

Where i live therebis talk of offshore windturbines been used in conjunction with all the sea water to make the hydrogen. Its perfect for offloading onto tankers as much offshore oil is at the moment.
Its one option i heard for getting greener fuel.

If millions of vehicles were burning Hydrogen and creating only water, I presume this water goes somewhere! and is ejected outside of all of these vehicles creating wet slippery roads, condensation, and then clouds which will then cause a change in the atmosphere, resulting in rain, floods, and storms, it doesn't seem a good idea to me.
I think if the governments should put more money into hydrogen power vehicles, they would be a better option. The thing is with EVs is charging especially in Australia where we have to drive huge distances to get anywhere. 10 hrs to get a full charge after a few hundred kms is ridiculous. Let alone having a car that literally has no sound is weird. It would be better if they had more HP as well.
Hydrogen and oxygen would be an endless source of energy if we succeed in finding bacteria to separate.
Imagine all the electric power plants we have to build and the grid update for all the SUV.
Hydrogen fuel is a new idea for public transportation just live EV a few generations back. Give it time and better ideas and technology could make it a viable alternative.
Didnt they already found a source thats from mother nature!? That keeps on flowing.

Thanks 😊👍 Sir.
I heard them say it's more costly to produce H2 than Gasoline has anyone seen what crude oil looks like? they have to boil it cool it reboil it several times before it becomes gasoline or diesel, no to mention drilling for it, pumping it out of the ground, & transporting it on the oceans where as H2 is made from water & 2/3's of our planet is covered in water & DC current passed thru water creates it somehow I'm not seeing the drawbacks
Looks good now but what happens when it takes a 💩? What are the cost going to be and where are you gonna get it fixed at?
This was marketing , no explanation on an hydrogen engine working
Electric cars is the way to go but we have to convert from DC to AC RIP Nikola Tesla 💯 , if you know you know…
Sounds to me it's nowhere close to being a viable solution. The tech is nowhere near where it needs to be in order to be competitive in the market.
klart det er fremtiden.. Vi skal bare have politisk opbakning og det er som altid svært :(
What about leakage? The SLS rocket uses liquid hydrogen to power the rocket and it has leaking problems. Hydrogen is a small atom. Very difficult to seal.

Piss and vinegar
Again… please stop using AI to narrate videos. It sounds hor…rible.
Nek isrsel kui cina.
I tried to explain the concept, and was shunned by gas driving folk, which is a fuel, just to run a combustion motor. If it's cheaper, or comparable, and is in our COUNTRY. Hopefully, it catches on, for engine's, and is available.
Thanks BP (Beyond Petroleum) for you crappy video. Showing nothing about future hydrogen vehicles. And simply gas lighting the technology. Shame
Before gas engine, you had steam engine. Hydrogen is hard and expensive to harvest (so was gas and oil) but like any other problems, I’m confident we will solve it. Already, Toyota has something promising. I can foresee Hydrogen powered vehicle within the next ten years.
I agree. This attitude has always brought us further. Science makes it possible
The problem is gasoline is a readily available source of energy. You just have to drill it out. But free hydrogen molecule isn't available in large quantities naturally. You actually have to spend energy to separate it from compounds. It'll get expensive once scaled. You can say the same thing for EV batteries, that we have to charge ourselves, but charging efficiency for Li-ion batteries is around 90%. Hydrogen extraction efficiency ranges from 30-40% if you're dissociating water.
However, since Hydrogen is so light compared to Li-ion batteries, I think it makes up for its inefficient extraction because it costs less fuel to carry hydrogen than heavy Li-ion batteries.
But the question is "Why?!" Why use hydrogen when you already have BEVs? It's like taking the very longer route in going from point A to point B just because you can!
Let's take into consideration the best case scenario for hydrogen: it's produced by electrolysis of water using electricity from solar, wind, hydroelectric and nuclear sources i.e. it's 🟢 hydrogen. Even though it's a carbon neutral process, you have to consume energy just to make energy which is non-sensical. This energy can simply be sent into the grid and it can power EVs at homes or at EV charging stations just like that! Instead, we have to purify water to electrolyse it and build a whole new bunch of different infrastructures like electrolysers, supply chains, safety systems, dispensing stations etc. All this costs a lot of time and money to build and maintain, something that is not true for BEVs since we already have a grid in place which is 70% of the job done! Then imagine the inferno that would be caused if there was a leak. Petrol at least needs a flame to ignite, hydrogen does so just by coming in contact with the oxygen of air! Thus hydrogen is more hazardous than fossil fuels. And finally, researchers have said that large scale leaks of hydrogen can also potentially act as a greenhouse gas.
So you would have to be total muppets to use hydrogen instead of electricity for EVs.
@@exterminator4808 Why have spotify when we already had CD's?

ruclips.net/video/76hDyQQXztI/видео.htmlsi=MGsq6Ai4hA0a60Ix
Not soon! H2 produced from electricity thats already 30% electricity lost. Than, fuel cell efficiency is at least 20% less than electric motor. So you lost already 50% electricity which can be used in EV. On the top of that fuel-cell car needs to vent H2 at all time when packed in the garage with temp above -250C ( thats everywhere on Earth). Than building fueling station and building car itself is 10 or 2 times more expensive than EV, accordingly. NONSENSE idea for passenger vehicles. Ships, big trucks - perhaps.
Liquid hydrogen is dead on arrival. Why? It turns to a gas when it warms above 423 degree F below zero. The tank to hold super cooled liquid hydrogen must 100% fool proof in terms of leaks and in terms of surviving an accident. Why is this important? A pin point leak in a liquid hydrogen tank will create an explosion so great that there won't be a piece of the car or it's passengers left that is larger than the size of a thimble. It will take only one accident to occur like this and the hydrogen powered car idea will come to a screeching halt. Sorry...it's true!
Very concise video and well done, but at 1:56 is a bad graphic. You're showing an ICE H2 engine, not a fuel cell. ICE H2 engines require more like 10+ times the energy as BEVs. And regarding 3 times for fuel cells, that's best case at the moment where as the H2 is delivered via pipeline. If you have to truck it compressed, or worse liquefy it, it's more like 4 times the energy per mile. It's an OK technology to fit where other technologies can't meet the specific requirements.
Thanks for your feedback and further clarification :)
If you had to come up with a way to receive £1 of a million people what would be the best way to
Yeah but ICE gives people real cars not some appliance like experience with electric drive + Fuel cell cars still need lithium batteries and more raw minerals, mining etc that burning hydrogen in an ICE doesn't need.
I get the inefficiency vs fuel cell but if we had a lot more nuclear this wouldn't matter and we have cars that are much simpler than even the current ICE cars with all their emissions control systems.
@@o00scorpion00o The reality is you'd need to get hydrogen down from $36/kg to less than $5/kg for H2 ICE to go anywhere. That requires getting electricity to less than 3¢/kWh. Since nuclear plants generally cost about 6¢/kWh to produce electricity, let alone sell it for a profit, nuclear isn't likely going to solve any issues no matter how many get built. Maybe if we run out of crude and the price skyrockets so that gasoline is over $10/gal, that might change things. But in the meantime, more and more people love the quietness of BEVs and can't believe they used to like driving ICE cars.
@@scottkolaya2110 I drove BEV for 10 years, I live in Ireland so it's a Small Island, it was a novelty in the beginning but the issues remain, long charge times and much less range despite my last EV being an 82 Kwh id3 with 77 Kwh usable.
The car weighted 2 tonne for a small hatch which was ridiculous, it dulled the driving experience something awful. Getting rid of EV with depreciation and dealers not wanting EV as trade in is a real hassle so I gave it back to the finance company. Not into all this tech , screens and all other nonsense.
Now I drive a petrol manual car with minimal tech and I love it, I missed the engagement of driving a manual ICE and the much better handling of a much lighter car.
There are many people with no home charging and won't be willing to spend endless hrs at public charging.
I think you underestimate the energy Nuclear energy can provide and it can produce a lot of clean electricity and hydrogen.
There is really no other alternative to liquid fuels, BEV will never replace liquid fuels and it will never be environmentally friendly to produce batteries.
See also this video. It provides a more detailed breakdown of how hydrogen cars work in terms of their parts and functions -> ruclips.net/video/p5BYBSk_MQk/видео.html
You didn't mentioned the amount of water required to product 1 kg of green hydrogen.
You didn't mentioned that large amount of electricity is needed to product green hydrogen.
The author is so stupid to understand that as he didnt know how it will impact the use of our water resources 🤷♂️ which is it is better to deplete the lithium battery resources than our water supplies... He didnt even know how much energy/electricity it would need just to produce liquid hydrogen 🤦♂️
The membrane or the fuelcell stacks that exchanges hydrogen to electrical energy are troublesome and must be replaced with other components once a year or every 6 months. The membrane is like what you usually see in the RO water filter, except larger depending on the design it can be a rectangle or cylinder with built in heat exchange or cooler.
It's very expensive, $10,000 or more to replace it a long with other components.
The car works like a hybrid car, battery and all. The coolant to cool the membrane or the fuelcell is another issue to worry about. The membrane only lasts about 6 months to a year, depending on how the car is used. If you park the car for a very long time like a month or so, the system will clog up. Then the membrane and cooling components have to be replaced before you can use the car. The car has to be towed into the shop autorized dealer.
So far, there are NO mechanics at the dealer that can work on the cars, due to its complicated system. You must wait for a trained scientist mechanic from Toyota Japan to fly in for your service on an electrical problem.
Everything except - how does a hydrogen car work 😄😄😄

Why can hydrogen vehicle have a switchable tank that could be switched at a refuelling station? That would reduce the time spent at refuelling stations.

Electrolysis is required to create Hydrogen. EVs without infrastructure are junk.
Hybrids are the best short term answer until batteries and infrastructure catch up.The Steam engine went extinct in the 40s and diesel electric locomotives have been their replacement since them. Thats a hybrid Today, Edison Motors has a succesful hybrid logging truck that beats the Tesla in both power and fuel economy and most importantly, and it is lighter than the standard trans truck NRA. No range anxiety.
Get it straight .. The infrastructure TODAY CAN NOT support EVs but hybrids can and are doing it with no infrastructure change and BETTER FUEL ECONOMY WITH PROVE TECHNOLOGY
Gasoline cars without infrastructure are junk. EVs can always be charged at home, even without extra infrastructure.
The whole world can’t afford hydrogen at moment so maybe not 😊

If the demand is there, the price will go down. Remember twenty years ago a 50 inch LCD HDTV cost 50k USD and now it is barely $500.
Ssd costed alot more as well now it costs less alot of things are possible if not everything but we will just have to wait and see or try ourselves ofc
Hydrogen it's future
how is electrolysis expensive ?
What will happen when such car crashes, little Hindenburg ?
Actually not. I guess a big Balloon full of anything flammable would end in a big big fireball. The existing technics today are much more safe and controllable.
Hydrogen is bater than battery to me
So is the electrical grid. If everyone were to be driving electric cars, the power grid Wouldn't be able to keep up. More than 80% of our power grade is powered by natural gas and coal.
My question is why does the hydrogen need to be in a liquid form? Could we not make an engine that can run off of hydrogen gas? Then all you'd need is water and a safe way to split the hydrogen from the oxygen. Hell, it could have a reclaim system for the exhaust (which is just water, the system would take the water from buring the hydrogen and feed it back into the water tank)
That being said, there's probably either some kinda problem with this idea that doesnt have a solution or big corporate companys have explored this idea and came to the conclusion that pumping straight liquid hydrogen into a car rather than the idea I have at the top of the comment makes way more money for them
Winter driving would be a nightmare. Icy roads BECAUSE of the cars. Then what? We add more chemicals to the roads? That can't be good for the environment, your car, or wallet.
Roads are already icy in winter where I live.
There could be some kind of container that fills up with the water coming out of the car. This container can then be emptied anywhere 😊
Too expensive hydrogen
Can people invest money in hydrogen? Where. Name ?
Of course they can. Hydrogen Companies, Energy and Utility Companies, and Hydrogen Index Funds could be possibilities to invest.
and then the wheels turn...
