We (my wife and I) recently purchased the LS-1 with Worker B. I'm in a wheelchair and have limited use of my legs. I sewed myself a backrest and did it all with my hand on the "foot" control. The lower speed allowed me to me able to still help guide the material with one hand while using the other on the pedal. I got great results because of that added lower speed control.
Something interesting is I wonder if a limb augmentation with like the fake 3d printed thumb that articulates by your electrical signals could be augmented to a simple variable speed control setup... Something I was thinking, but often we use limbs in tight conjunction and relay to get artificial limbs moving like a person, but you don't need legs or arms on you, you simply need to be able to control the system. So hooking it up to the body wit ha sensor feed back is pretty easy... You can use your eyes, to electrical feed back sensors, to a chest shirt you wear, where the pressure sensor is just a pedal on your chest, a direct mechanical button level. So many ways.. Systems of the stitching process is simple, but to allow one to have an easy augemtnation to its pedal system would be interesting. YOu could even make an entire sensory system, but.. voice apps today can control many things, the only problem with voice controls is noise, and shut off so emergency power off is always a oncsideration in design. Sewing machina hasn't really been advanced for about 100+ years.. in the public market, there are many many other systems that have commericalized the process, or industirlaied it ot produce in mass without aid. TEchnic Stitching so the sweat shops of china in the tech areas were converted to technic stitching where any human movement or acts can all be manipualted by a machine... anyways... somethign to think about, a different pedal design for peopel with limited mobility.. hmm

Mine showed up today. Can't wait to get started!! LSZ-1 machine, I've got some elaborate auto upholstery to do, and this is just the thing for the job.
Thank you so much for sharing your excitement! It's amazing to hear that the LSZ machine arrived and you're eager to get started. Wishing you all the best with your auto upholstery project!
The WorkerB is awesome. I added a servo motor to my machine and it performs as well, with a bit of experimenting. That said, I wish I had the money for this machine with the WorkerB.
Hi, I’m very new at this. My children are planning to gift this machine to me for my birthday this November. Do I need the worker B power pack and wheel in addition to the sewing machine. Does it have an LED light? What additional parts do I need for the machine. I’m interested in the Blue one LSZ-1. I heard on a review that is a loud machine. Please advise. Thank you.
This looks great, but am wondering why this isn't integrated into the base sewing machine. Can't imagine anyone not wanting to go slow at some point, so it seems like it should be a basic function of the machine. I've discovered that my LSZ Ultrafeed is virtually impossible to use in many cases where I need to go a bit slower, which is often. It's either not moving at all or going full speed, and I've grown to hate the foot pedal. Even my Mom's old, cheap home sewing machine can do better at slow speeds and it doesn't have a fancy add-on of any sort.
The WorkerB Power Pack is NEW and now comes on all Ultrafeed sewing machines. It took us years to prefect it and then produce enough of them to include them on all our New Ultrafeed Sewing Machines. No worries, you can buy the motor package separately and add it to your sewing machine, if you like.
You can add it to your sewing machine. Just order it here: www.sailrite.com/Sailrite-WorkerB-Power-Pack-Motor-System-110V Watch the video on how to install here: ruclips.net/video/jf7NBxrAURY/видео.htmlsi=UYhJy3toLGEPMuDO

Now that is slow. Some day I will have one of your units. Thank you for showing what your units can do.
I have this setup, can´t praise it enough
So nice and slow, Mister Grant.
That's quite impressive. You guys always thinking.

Wait you added a servo motor instead of the worker b motor?

I always break my thread when the layers get to thick on the backwards movement if I don't go slow.. hmm...
Hello, I have this machine but without a speedometer how you can order it and mount it in what episode it is explained?

We don't understand your question, could you clarify?

it seems I've bought the last 220V LSZ model, do you have an adaptation to limit the foot pedal for a slow stitch? !~
Yep, you can buy the WorkerB Power Pack for Universal Power here: www.sailrite.com/Sailrite-WorkerB-Power-Pack-Motor-System-100-230V
